Summary
For centuries a Great ice flow has remained at the northern most point of Terra, a dividing factor, a wall of snow, ice, and blizzard. This wall was seen as simply impassable or a waste of resources to try to pass so the nations of Terra went on, meddling with each other and dealing with a growing number of infected.
Yet, that tundra is about to be breached, on the other side of that vast tundra lies a world so alien, so strange, and so geographically and physically opposed to the realms of Terran science that its possible such a dividing factor was for the better. Yet as the Reunion mobilizes for its attack on Ursus and the world moves on in as blissful ignorance as possible, the wall of tundra is finally crossed.
Wanting to explore what secrets the tundra contained an expedition across the ice and snow was ordered by the Pillager Grand Raid Chief. An expedition of pillagers after much struggle through the snow manages to stumble upon Ursus's northern boarder and begins leaving its mark across the settlements of the far north.
In Ursus rumors of strange humanoid beings with grey skin being to grow as slowly more and more pillagers cross the tundra and advance deeper into the Ursan heartland

Tommy, of course, elected to ignore this, and simply turned to dart further into the room. He'd heard the warm crackle of a fireplace over in the corner. And honestly, he deserved a nap after all the stress he'd just gone through.
Behind him, the door closed gently, cutting off the rush of the gathering storm outside. "Alright then," Techno said, almost to himself. "Guess I have a cat now."
