   Summary

   He reached a hand out, barely managing to use his fingers to pull it over to the other.

   His body burned in agony, and with each breath he could feel his lungs expanding and touching the air they were exposed to, due to the fact his flesh had been boiled away.

   And yet he was focused on the other, instead of his own dying body or the sounds of continued struggle that barely reached his ears.
