   Summary

   Soulmates are an old concept. The idea that what you wrote on your skin would be left on the skin of the other had many intrigued and others wishing. Texas was one of the people who could say he was both. He watched others find their equals while he drew on his skin wishing someone would compliment his art. One day writing would appear on his arm and change his life completely.
   His father, United States of America, wanted nothing to do with it. America saw it as something that would be his down fall. Yes, having a soulmate would mean he had someone to help him, but having an attachment would make him weak and exposed. For that reason, when he found out his son had such a bond he could only think the worst.
