if Akira had to pinpoint the exact moment his life started going downhill, it certainly was the day he met Goro Akechi. things just kept happening. all the time. and, his life would have been much easier if he didn't have to juggle loving an assassin and saving the world (once or twice).
things, of course, only got worse when the love of his life (said assassin) kicked the bucket. briefly came back. kicked it again.
so, at this point, Akira really just wanted to go home. he just... well, he didn't think anyone would be following him… let alone Akechi.
