Summary
By now, public demand about Kai was overwhelming. There were posts on social media daily, messaging or mentioning the ninja and how they seemed to be hiding Kai and that something must have happened to him. The most they’d all said on the matter was that Kai was safe and home, but that did not seem to satiate the people. It got to the point where those approaching them on the street weren’t just asking for pictures, but instead were asking about the glaringly absent fire ninja.
Even before they’d become public figures, it was strange when Kai wasn’t around. He was loud, and arrogant, and brash, and he’d slowly wormed his way into the hearts of the people. Especially after the battles with Nadakhan and the sky pirates, since the red ninja hadn’t really been seen, there were those that wondered if he had even survived.

Kai disappears after the events of season 6. With the ninja desperate to find him, it's only a matter of time before he's discovered, right?
He is found by Wu exactly 36 days later, on deaths doorstep. Although their teacher seems to know what's going on, he refuses to say.
Will the ninja be able to discover who is behind this and stop them before they do any more damage?
