Chapter Text
Aizawa is dragged by three guards down a long corridor, occasionally encountering cells with other creatures along the way. It smells disgusting, but that hardly stays in the foreground.
Eras'hiir is paralyzed by a tranquilizer dose far in excess of what other species can tolerate, but he himself is only barely holding on because of the resistance to poisons that his kin have developed in the course of evolution.
A broken limb gives flashes of pain as it is deliberately pushed by the pirates.
He's trapped.
He was ambushed by Shi H'ssaikai on a mission to gather information from a meeting of leaders that had been known for a couple of days.
But Hizashi and the rest of the heroes know about his sortie, which means they need to endure and try to survive until the rescue operation. They will find the mole in the coming time frame.
A hiss escapes from Aizawa's mouth as the group stops in front of the camera and he is shaken up.
- "Look, there's a reason they say these bastards are so valuable on the market, put five bullets in him and he's still conscious." - "one of them flicks his beak toward Aizawa.
- "Not for long. The boss ordered us to give Eras'hiiir to that thing we caught the other day"-the pirates mockingly snicker with a nasty click and continue-"so it doesn't get skinny before we sell it."
What?
They brought it here as food?! No way.
He's bigger than most other creatures by a head or two, once the tranquilizer stops working no animals, no matter what the pirates say, can attack him.
The cage opens and Aizawa is thrown inside. The bars are energized again.
The sensations in his body awaken again and he begins to tense and relax his muscles, bringing his limbs closer to control faster, the poison should almost be processed by his body in a couple more clicks.
Aizawa hears hissing and clanking from behind him as the kidnappers baton slams against the bars attracting attention
- "Hey, freak, enjoy the meat, the commander cares so much about you."
The group walks away and only the rumble of footsteps from the cage can be heard.
Aizawa gathers his strength and struggles to get up, leaning against the corner, it's best to keep his back protected before he realizes what he's up against.
In the far corner sits a short creature, with long limbs, completely without fur or scales.
Its fur on its head is purple in color, perhaps as an indicator of venom or to attract a mate, but Aizawa will not risk approaching it.
Large head and beady eyes, with pupils surrounded by a large amount of white - you can easily see where the creature is looking.
Aizawa snaps, terror gripping his body like a paralytic and his blood runs cold.
He's not getting out of here alive.
It's human.
