‹… Can,› Rocky says, hesitantly. He spins around to put the model down, leaving the two xenonite figurines coupled together, presumably in singular ecstasy or whatever. Joined forever. How romantic.

Bruce blinks owlishly. It seems like the palpable confusion on his face is the final straw for Kal. He sits up, carefully cradling his belly with one hand, and tips his head down until he's hidden his face from view.
"You keep calling me these… these sweet words. You've never called me them before, and it's—well, it's…!"
Kal glances up at him, and he looks so beautiful that Bruce wants to kiss him.
"What do you mean?"
"Honey… sweetheart, darling. You keep calling me these names—but you've only called me omega before. They're all very… it's…"
"You don't like the petnames?"
With a groan, Kal tips forward until Bruce embraces him, hugging him close.
"Petnames…" Kal tries the word out on his tongue. He's still hiding, breath warm against Bruce's scentgland. "I like them… I like them too much. They make me feel very… warm, between my legs."

While on the way to Erid, Grace gets what he believes is food poisoning. He chalks it up to Earth being in such a rush to let the Hail Mary set sail. Even if the quality of food seems like a /particularly/ important factor in the health of the astronauts that will end up saving their species. But who is he to say? He’s not that kind of doctor.
After all, it’s nothing he can’t handle, even with Armando spontaneously out of commission. A little bit of an upset stomach never killed anyone.
Although, this is an /exceptionally/ bad case of food poisoning..
OR
Grace's shitty human biology almost kills him, and Rocky has to save the day. They eventually end up dumping their hearts out to each other. I dunno, don’t ask me!
