He did not like her. That was plain. Though her situation was a confusing one – with so much lost to her recent memory – Leah increasingly felt as if her very existence was a burden to him. He felt responsibility for her, in an odd way, for he had apparently been involved in her survival, though he claimed not as much as his brother had been.
