Maybe it’s for the best that we have been sent here. We did commit acts that would be counted as treason. We should burn our writings when we get back to the House of Street Sweepers so we can take back our sins before anyone finds them… the ground is cold so is the chains that bind us to the wall or maybe the whole room is cold it’s hard to tell with how long we have been stuck here waiting for someone to come through the door behind us. Hopefully something happens soon.
We want to write down what happens so we can know what to expect if there is a next time that we are sent here.
We’re bored. It’s dark, cold and utterly boring seeing as there is no window to the outside our only source of light is coming from the door’s window that is normally used so the one who is set to punish us knows they have the right person but then again most don’t ever come in here unless they have done something truly horrible to offend the Council. We think we can pass the time with our thoughts seeing as we can’t do anything else so maybe it’s time to think of a name for that odd scholar that we have seen occasionally.
We think we have our name for them: (Leaning to Coeus). Do not ask us why we have thought of this name but we do believe it to fit this scholar nicely. Or maybe we’re going crazy with boredom from how long we’ve been here. In all honesty it probably hasn’t been all that long most likely it’s only been thirty-minutes of being in the dark. We know when we go back outside we’ll need time to adjust back to the light of the sun.
We wonder if we'll see — here. Hopefully not because that would mean they are the one who will punish us. The more we think about this the worse we feel. Maybe we should've fought against being brought here if only for them.
