"What a pity." It spoke, moth retreating, much to his appreciation. "If I gave you a second chance at life with a wish, would you take it and use it for good?" The moths spoke and he simply stared. Words were too much right now, but a nod answered its questions.

When Alto makes a mistake and ends up dying, he gets a wish. All he wants is his pains gone and to have the voice he wants. When the deity he meets grant's this and throws him into Phighting, he learns that sometimes the monkeys paw isn't all too bad, but still does curl.
