Chapter Text
I love Eri. She truly is my girl. And I do love this fic. I've been in this community for years now and I have other accounts in which I've written to different fandoms but this was my first time having been accused of being a racist.
Someone commented that I am being racist towards the Sharma sisters and I re-read back to what I've written and even though I knew that I am very much not, I couldn't help but feel that maybe some people did see my writing of the sisters as a slight against them. There were discussions on the comment section (which I've removed) and they were very, very opinionated on me being a racist.
I know I shouldn't be affected by it and one negative doesn't negate hundreds of positives but—well, I don't join fandom arguments and it should be simple manners to never bring your argument on my doorstep.
On that note, this fic is on a hiatus because of the author's block, mostly, and my joy of writing this was seeped out of me.
I might pick up, who knows. And I might continue writing Eri (MY GIRL!) in other series and fandoms.
(Eri was my first OC that truly had resonated with me. She was the by-product of my trauma of being a past cadet. I literally wrote her days just after being dismissed. So yeah, I really do love her.)
Still, thank you for the support this has received and to the long journey you've all endured with me on this. I don't want my readers to wonder what the fuck has happened to this, okay.
This may or may not be a good-bye, again: who knows?
