   Summary

   Time knew his destiny and where it would lead. He knew he was going to die; the Sheikah slate told him so, his internal clock sensed it, and his soul screamed it at him.

   The other heroes mourned this loss, and their stirrups dissolved like their tears in the damp forest soil. Hope faded, cracks and bitterness damaged the links of this chain to the point of imminent rip of the group.

   But the hero of time was fiercely stubborn and passionately foolish. He would never leave this world without saying goodbye in a proper way, and by that, he means he would never leave with his true purpose unfinished.

   Or: Time dies and the chain starts to fall apart.
