Summary
Lan Qiren, respected master of the Lan Clan, hides a secret: he is intersexual, with a body that allows him to menstruate. He has lived his whole life hiding the truth, but one night of inebriation during a clan meeting changes everything. Drunk, he ends up sleeping with Wen Ruohan, the cruel and charming leader of the Wen Clan. Wen Ruohan discovers Lan Qiren's secret and, obsessed by him, takes the opportunity to bind him to himself: he proposes an honorable marriage to protect his secret.
Forced to marry him, Lan Qiren finds himself a prisoner of a union that turns from convenience to a struggle for acceptance. Between manipulations and moments of vulnerability, the two confront their emotions: Wen Ruohan, always in love, fights to earn Lan Qiren's trust, while the latter faces his own shame and the weight of expectations.
But in the end, who really is Lan Qiren? Is he the disciplined man that the world admires or is he the sum of his hidden fragilities?
