Chapter Text
Wednesday was trying her hardest to push James away from her but the boy was 6’2 and almost 200 lbs. She was no match. He barely felt her struggle. He moved his knee between her legs, pressing it firmly against her. She whimpered, trying to stand on her tiptoes but barely could. Before she could even think of screaming for help, a hand found itself on her mouth. She kept shaking her head, muffled ‘no’s’ lost against his hand. She had to find a way out. Wednesday then reached for his crotch, wanting to hurt his balls but her hand was easily stopped by his.
-Oh don’t worry. You’ll get to feel them very soon., smirked James, whispering it against her ear.
He then moved down and started kissing her neck, one hand on her mouth and the other hand pinning her wrists against the wall. The clothes on Wednesday didn’t stop him from going down further. James continued to kiss her on her shirt, first the collarbones, then the chest and then her breasts. Wednesday continued to squirm, warm tears finding their way down to James’ hand that’s keeping her quiet.
-Awww. Don’t worry, you’ll feel better soon., chuckled the boy.
Wednesday glared at him, trying to free her mouth from his hand. She attempted to bite him but in vain. He continued to kiss her wherever he pleased. The girl had closed her eyes, hoping that giving him no reaction would somehow make him stop. Suddenly, to her surprise, she no longer felt him on her. She opened her eyes, seeing Buddy aggressively biting James’ leg.
-Ah! Stupid dog! Fuck off!, yelled James, trying to kick Buddy off.
Wednesday didn’t think twice. She ran out the coop and back to the mansion, wiping her tears away and then finding her way to the kitchen. Her first thought was finding Enid but she wasn’t there. Yoko, Bianca and Eugene looked at Wednesday, noticing her weird expression.
-Are you okay?, asked Eugene with a frown.
That is when her eyes landed on Amy. Right. Her birthday. If she told them what had happened, Amy’s birthday would be ruined. She decided to keep quiet. At least for the rest of the day.
-Yeah. Just feel sick., replied the girl before walking away and going to the bathroom.
Bianca instantly got up and followed Wednesday to the bathroom, not wanting the girl to be alone while she looked pale like a ghost. Well, she always looked pale but she almost seemed white like the paper sheet.
-I’m gonna go get Enid., said Eugene as he rushed out of the mansion and towards the greenhouse where the blonde had went to collect tomatoes and lettuce.
The boy ran to it and bursted through the doors. He quickly saw Enid who was seemingly fighting against a tomato that was clinging onto the dirt.
-Enid., said Eugene to get her attention.
Enid instantly looked up at him, frowning when she saw his worried face.
-What’s wrong?, asked the blonde, walking up to him.
-I think Wednesday might be sick., said the boy.
-Where is she?, questioned Enid quickly.
-Bathroom with Bianca., informed Eugene.
-Can you-, started the blonde.
-Yes, I’ll take care of the vegetables. Go., nodded the boy with no hesitation.
Enid whispered a thank you before running out of the greenhouse. She quickly made her way to the bathroom where Bianca was holding back Wednesday’s hair while she threw up.
-I’ll take over. Go grab meds against puking., said the blonde as she walked up to the two.
Bianca nodded and walked out, doing as told. Enid knelt down and gently held Wednesday’s hair back. The blonde then moved her hand to Wednesday’s forehead to check her temperature but the girl flinched and moved away.
-Easy, Willa. I just wanted to check if you have fever. I didn’t mean to scare you., said Enid calmly.
Wednesday shook her head and got up.
-I’m fine. I probably just ate something that upset my stomach., replied the girl.
-Willa-, started Enid.
-I said I’m fine. Now, let’s focus on Amy., repeated Wednesday firmly.
The blonde frowned a little, unsure why Wednesday was acting different. She watched her walk out the bathroom after flushing the toilet. Enid followed her back to the kitchen.
-Hey! Your dog bit James., complained Divina as she walked into the kitchen.
-What? No. Buddy isn’t aggressive., frowned Yoko, getting up.
-Where is he?, asked Enid quickly.
-James is upstairs trying to stop the bleeding. He locked the dog into the coop., explained Kiara.
-I’ll go check on James., said Bianca with a sigh, handing meds to Wednesday.
Wednesday’s heart dropped at the thought of Bianca being alone with James. Or anyone being alone with James.
-Yoko, you should go with her., said Wednesday quickly.
-What? Why?, frowned Yoko, not understanding.
-To uhm, to apologize about Buddy., stated the other girl.
Yoko sighed but then nodded, walking after Bianca quietly. Amy was just sitting at the table, looking confused and worried. Wednesday noticed that and cleared her throat, forcing a smile on her face.
-Alright, ready for your next surprise?, asked Wednesday, getting Amy’s attention.
-Is buddy okay?, wondered the child.
-I will go check on him. How about you and Enid go look at your next surprise, hm?, suggested Wednesday, not daring to look at the blonde.
Enid still didn’t understand why Wednesday was acting…weirder than usual. But she decided not to pry for now. She took Amy’s hand gently and guided her outside. Her next present would be a bearded dragon they had found at a veterinarian’s office. It had found its way out its cage and managed to survive. Amy had already shown her love for lizards before so they decided to keep him. Meanwhile, Wednesday walked back to the coop, where she had almost been assaulted. Her hand was shaking as she reached for the door, opening it. She peeked inside and saw Buddy laying on some hay. His ears perked up when he saw Wednesday. The girl walked in and sat down next to him, gently petting him.
-You’re a good dog. The best., whispered Wednesday, trying to hold her tears back.
