Chapter Text

Mustafu city

Not all are made equal. Izuku knew that at age 4 when he was told he would never get a quirk as his foot showed an additional bone. One extra bone in his foot and he was sure not to get any powers. Not only that, but he got forced to wear stupid red sneakers showing the world that he was different. A throwback. Ugh how he hated those sneakers. But being told he would not get any amazing powers wasn't the worst. Oh no. His whole class and school had to turn against him, calling him worthless and allowing quirks to be used on him. It's ok to break the law as he was only a quirkless waste of space. Main among his new abusers the one guy who said he would always be Izuku's friend, Kacchan aka Bakugo Katsuki.

'Ah Kacchan what happened to you? Do you even know what you're saying half the time? If I'm "playing the hero" that would automatically make you "the villain", would it not? And the constant death threats every time you use your quirk... Yeah I know I'm pathetic still looking up to you, but you had such great potential and you're letting it get destroyed by that fucking school. Ugh enough thinking about the past, I'm here.' A now 9 year old Izuku shakes his head to clear it and looks around at the sheer devastation that was wrecked at this place. He knows he shouldn't be here, but quirks are so fascinating and so when he heard of a battle between a hero and a villain he had to go watch it... Ok he wasn't stupid enough to get too close as this level of destruction clearly shows he would not have survived if he was close during the battle. Still... To think such a major battle would take place at the edge of Mustafu...

Climbing and clambering over the debris he started to analyze the destruction and so deduct who fought, 'Huh. This looks a lot like All Might fought here. I mean if you look there that looks like the destruction you get from a California Smash and there a Texas Smash. I know he's been in the US a lot, but to think he is such a dork that he names his attacks after states even though he is Japanese is kind of endearing if not a bit silly. I... wait what was that?' Izuku stops mid analysis as he hears a soft sound. Swiftly deducing where it comes from he moves closer and when he finds it he has trouble keeping his lunch in his stomach. The guy is absolutely messed up. Holy Izanami how is this guy still alive. Half his face? Gone. Right part of the chest where his lung is supposed to be... I can see right through the hole. Left kidney? Another bloody hole. Right arm is missing at the elbow and is the left leg at the knee. Is this the guy All Might was fighting? It couldn't right? All Might wouldn't just let him lie here like that, right? As the body lets out a rattling breath he is once again reminded this dude is still alive.

All for One lies in the destroyed city that will now be his grave... To think the kid that calls himself 'All Might' and only uses the stockpiling part of the quirk to enhance his strength could defeat him. He should have taken him more serious. Now... now he will die and his brother will have won. He was supposed to change society. He was supposed to make a better world... Where had he gone wrong? Oh he knows where he went wrong. Letting his power go to his head and think he was above all as a god... So stupid. And now after 200 years he is paying for it. To think his imminent death would be what gives him clarity. Damn he doesn't even have the strength to call for Kurogiri. Wait what is that? Is that... What is a kid doing in this place? Oh he's talking to him now... Seriously? Slow down kid I am dying I can't understand speed rattle right now. To think one of that clan is still alive. "Kid... *cough* Kid... slow... down..."

Realizing the person is still alive Izuku goes on his usual analyzing while you speak rant, "HolyIzanamiIcan'tbelieveyouarestillalive. Whatisyourquirkandhowdidyousurvive..." Hearing something he stops speaking and sweatdrops as he hears 'slow down' Right... oops. Let's try this again, "How are you still alive?" The body in front of him chuckles and then coughs, "I'm not. I'm dying. Just barely clinging to life. What's your quirk, kid?" He pales a bit, but answers, "The doctors told me I'm quirkless as I have an extra bone in my foot."

All for One blinks with the eye he has left and looks at the kid. He's quirkless and still here in this destroyed town? Why is he... how is he... No NO stop. You don't have time for this. This might be a way to make up for his mistakes. If his brother can pass on his quirk, maybe he can to. Using what strength he has left he uses the hand he has left, which is ironically his left, to scoop up some of his blood, "Kid? Can you do a dying man a favor?" Seeing the kid pull closer he uses the kid's distraction and open mouth to push his bloody finger in, "Sorry about that. Can you call 'Kurogiri' out loud."

Izuku watches in fascination as the dying man does not scowl or looks disgusted, just surprised at him being quirkless. Hearing the dying man has a last wish he leans in and opens his mouth to ask what it is, only to get a bloody finger stuck in his mouth. Ugh he swallowed blood. Yuck. You want me to call out a word? Sure dude. Standing upright he looks at the sky and shouts, "Kurogiri." The next moment he nearly jumps out of his skin as a black portal appears next to him.

After the name is shouted a black circle spirals into being and then turns into a shadowy person wearing a jacketless suit. It's glowing yellow eyes look around and then spotting the kid and corpse the eyes blink, "You called?" The kid nearly jumps out of his skin and the corpse then starts speaking making Kurogiri realize his master isn't dead just yet.

Watching the kid nearly jump out of his skin is funny, but he can't laugh right now. All for One looks at his servant and best creation, "Kurogiri... Take my body and the kid to the lair... I'm dead... but the cause might not be... The kid... What's your name, kid?"

Izuku nearly jumped out of his very skin as a portal suddenly appears and hearing the near death guy speak he realizes the word was actually a name. Hearing the soft question he speaks, "Izuku. Midoriya Izuku."

All for One sighs and shivers. Green hair and the name Midoriya... Yup it's probably the child of that scary woman. Hopefully she will understand and love her child enough to let this happen, "Kurogiri... Izuku... is now... your boss. . ." With that last command his legacy is secured and his body gives up the struggle to keep living. The very next moment his body stops moving all together as the terror of 200 years is now dead.

Kurogiri blinks as the final command of his master registers and looking at the kid he feels the link he has to his creator has indeed shifted to the kid... Huh... So All for One did a sentimental and pulled a 'brother did it, so so can I' move. With a nod he spreads himself and after but a moment the debris field is empty of life.

All for One Lair, League of Villains HQ

In the main room of the lair of All for One a black portal appears and then three figures are there. The youngest of the three looks around in confusion, "Where am I?"

The shadow person gives a gentle smile, "Welcome to the base of All for One. As you are the inheritor of All for One this is now yours. Let me just put the body on ice. You will probably need it later." He moves to an intercom and presses the button, "Doctor could you please come? We need to preserve the master's body." A grunted 'on my way' is all that he gets back.

Izuku looks around and blinks, "What do you mean this is all mine? And what is All For One? Sounds like a cheesy rip off of that quote from that ancient book... What was it again? Musketaars?"

Kurogiri gives a slight grin, "The three musketeers. I think the master would have been affronted you call his naming skills cheesy, but as he is now dead he can't protest. As for what All for One is? It's the name of the master's quirk and now the name of your quirk."

Izuku blinks, "I don't have a quirk." He looks at the shadowy person to see how they will react to that statement. They have treated him kindly for now, but you never know with them.

Kurogiri lifts an eyebrow and then chuckles, "Ah I see. So that is why he gave it to you. Congratulations, Izuku-sama. You are now the proud owner of All for One. The quirk that gives and takes quirks."

Izuku blinks as laughter is not the reaction he expected. He then blinks and looks at the corpse, 'He gave me his quirk? How? Why? Do I want... yeah no why would I reject a quirk given to me by a dying man. I do need a better name for it, though. All for One sounds like there should be a counterpart. Hmmm give and take quirks? Sounds interesting and useful... what to call it? What to call it?' He then looks at Kurogiri, "I think I'll call it Nature's prerogative. If I have it that is."

Kurogiri blinks and freezes in place as he thinks on what the new master just said, 'Nature's Prerogative? Prerogative... to have the exclusive right to do something... Nature... Nature gives and takes. Life and death, growing and stalling, order and chaos... Interesting.' He then smiles, "That is an interesting way to look at it, young master. Nature's Prerogative... The right to give and take quirks. Very Interesting view point."

Izuku smiles, "Thanks. That is if I have the quirk. I never heard of the quirk or of any quirk that could be transferred." While he is speaking a door opens and a man in a lab coat walks in. As he sees him he points, "You're the quack that told me I could never have a quirk." Pointing at Kurogiri he continues, "If he is correct then I now do have one."

Dr Garaki Kyudai grumbles as he walks into the room, "What is so important?" He blinks as he sees his boss' dead body on the ground and hears about transferring a quirk. Hearing him get called a quack he bristles, "I am a scientist." He then looks at the one pointing at him and blinks, "Hmm you do look slightly familiar. By the looks of your shoes you are a quirkless person."

Kurogiri sighs, "Doctor it seems that the master's battle with All Might did not go well. He did make this child into his successor though." He then smirks as the child and the doctor go into a verbal battle. He wonders if he should tell the new boss about Tomura, but considering how unstable Tomura is... it can wait. Hearing rattle speak he blinks and looks at the child, 'One of that clan survived? How interesting. Master was sure that clan had died out by now. Hmm he seems to try and analyze just what the Doctor;s quirk is... This might have been the best choice.'

Izuku meanwhile is getting angry and the dismissive behavior of the guy in a lab coat, "Of course I look familiar. You're the doctor that took onelookatmyfootanddecidedIwasn'tgoodenoughforsociety. Thehelliswrongwithsocietyanyway? WhatrightdotheyhavetodecideIamunworthy? Ihatetheseshoes. HowcanweseeifIhavetheguy'squirk? Whatdoyoualldoanyways? Ohandwhat'syourquirk? Youlookthesameasyoudid5yearsagomumblemumblemumble..."

Garaki blinks as the kid devolves into mumbling at a rapid pace and looks at Kurogiri, "Can you understand that?"

The shadowman nods, "It seems Izuku-sama is of the 'Speed rattle' clan. According to the former master it started as a small mutation quirk that turned into just a secondary mutation for all the descendants of that first person. It seems they have survived these 200 years. He seems to be angry at you for diagnosing him only on an X-ray of his foot and not doing any other research... He now has a problem with society as a whole... He dislikes the red sneakers all quirkless have to wear... now he is asking about how we would know whether he has the former master's quirk and he wants to know what we do. Finally he is analyzing your quirk and seems to be doing quite a good job of it."

Izuku blinks and blushes as he realizes he was mumbling again, but then blinks, "It's a mutation? So it's not creepy? So how do I know I have it?"

Garaki blinks at the explanation and as he listens to the kid rattle on he realizes the kid is indeed analyzing his quirk, "How the hell do you get all that from only having seen me twice? There is no way you could analyze Life Force like that." He then taps his face, "One for All seems to need about 3 hours to shift, so I guess it would take that long for you too."

Kurogiri smiles gently, "It's not creepy, Izuku-sama. It is a family mutation." He then moves over to several huge stacks of notebooks, "Why don't you read the former master's journals? I believe Speed Rattle is in journal 5... or was it 6? Maybe 7? As you can see the former master has made quite a bit of journals during his life."

Izuku blinks and sweatdrops as he sees the stacks and stacks of notebooks. Picking up the top one he looks at it, "Journal 5425... Ok that is a lot." After a bit of a search he finds book 5, 6 and 7 and sits down to read. Seeing the first date he looks up in shock, "How old was the guy?"

Garaki chuckles, "Well over 200 years old, kid. I'll come back in a few hours to see if you have his quirk." He then leaves to go back to his experiments.

Kurogiri sighs, "He needed a lot of time. It doesn't really matter much. I do think his motivations and such are also in the journals."

Three hours and a lot of journals later

Izuku blinks as he reads something that makes him check it again, 'Tried to recruit the woman again, she nearly pulled my eyes out. It is that I have these regeneration quirks or I would be partially blind.' Cocking his head he looks up as Kurogiri enters the room, "Who is this woman he tried to recruit that refused him?"

Kurogiri blinks and moves over to see the passage in the journal, "Ah, her. She was a young woman with forest green hair. Her quirk seemed weak at first, but the former master thought it useful. She proved that not all is as it seems and she was actually a vigilante that was quite feared. She vanished about 10 years ago."

Izuku sweatdrops and says, "Do you know her name?"

Kurogiri blinks again, "Are you thinking of recruiting her? Her vigilante name was Heartache as she could induce heart attacks by pulling their hearts through their chests. I think she named her quirk something like..."

Izuku fills it in himself, "Attraction of small things."

Kurogiri blinks once more, "You know her, Izuku-sama?"

Izuku sighs, "All too well as she is my mom."

Kurogiri seems to cock his head, "That would explain her vanishing from the scene. She was a most terrifying opponent."

Izuku sweatdrops, "Always thought she could be more terrifying if she actually tried. Never knew she actually did. It sounds weak until you realize most internal organs are considered 'small things'. I-" He then blinks as his vision seems to blur for a moment and then as he looks around he sees things overlaying Kurogiri, "Wow, ok. This is kind of freaky. You... you have 3 things in you."

Kurogiri smiles, "It seems you do have his quirk now. Good. I am Kurogiri. The first and best nomu created. I do not remember who I was before the procedure, but as you can see it's a perfect blend of three quirks that allow me to be as I am. I am also bound to you now as you are the holder of the quirk."

Izuku slowly nods and looks up as the door opens and the doctor enters again. As the man walks up he frowns, "Your quirk is fake?"

Garaki blinks and smirks, "In a way. I managed to make a duplicate and kept it while giving the real one to All for One." He then nods, "Come with me. We are going to the cold storage so you can gain the quirks your predecessor holds."

Izuku nods and stands up stretching his limbs, "Ok, but I will not use that ridiculous name for my quirk. Also from what I read we need to keep hidden that I have it, so my quirk is Nature's prerogative."

Garaki blinks and thinking it over nods, "An apt description of what it does. It also gives people the idea your quirk is plant based."

Izuku nods and then looks at the other two, "One thing first. I sort of agree with HIS reasons, but not with his methods. Vigilante is a much better way then villain. So I will reform us into something else. I trust you will help me with it?"

Kurogiri nods, "As I said I am bound to you, so what you decide goes."

Garaki shrugs, "As long as I can continue my quirk research and experimentations."

Izuku gives a firm nod, "Ok, let's go see HIS corpse."

Cold storage

As they arrive at the cold storage Izuku tries not to look at the multiple corpses that are stored there, though a few peak his attention. Stopping before they reach All for One's corpse he looks at a corpse, "So can I take from a dead person?"

Garaki nods, "Yes. As long as the body is mostly intact you can take it. Something caught your attention?"

Izuku looks at a corpse, "This one is intriguing. what do you know of him?"

Garaki looks at the corpse and then pulls out a tablet, "Let's see. Ashksha Heruni. 32. quirk... temperature? Can lower and raise the temperature. Not very useful."

Izuku snorts, "Is that what they thought? From what I can see... Yes I see. It is temperature control. You can control the temperature of anything, but mostly your own body." He then frowns, "So how do I..." Out of instinct he places a hand on the corpse and then feels he can pull on the quirk. A quick pull later and he relaxes as the feeling of cold leaves his body, "This quirk is perfect. You can never overheat or get too cold as the quirk maintains the temperature you set. So set it to 37°C and my body will always be perfect human temperature. Ok let's continue."

Garaki blinks and facepalms, "So it's far more useful then thought. Interesting way to use it. It will always maintain the same?"

Izuku nods, "Yes. You set the temp in the quirk and specify what to apply it to. So I set it to my own body and the normal temp for a human body. I can't feel the cold anymore."

Garaki nods, "Ok, that is damn useful."

Izuku then blinks and rubs his eyes, "Wow. That is a boat load of quirks. He really was a hoarder, huh?"

Kurogiri nods, "He was at it for over 200 years. For now get what you think is useful. Once you are done we will place the body in stasis to prevent decomposition. Not all quirks may look as useful to you."

Izuku nods, while he walks closer and places his hands on the body. Closing his eyes he concentrates on the quirks and finds that he can sort of hold them to inspect them and then decide what to do with them. Some of the quirk mean little to him as he doesn't really see the point of getting a dick that he can make bigger on command. He doesn't even have a girlfriend or even anyone that is interested in him, besides he is 9 so that sort of stuff is for later. One quirk he does like and instantly implements is 'Peak body'. It doesn't make him grow bigger or anything, but it makes his body reach peak of what it should be at his age. He always wished he was a bit stronger, but fighting back in school got him in trouble with the damn teachers. At least those damn teachers stopped noting him absent while he was in class. The national school board had not been amused. He frowns as he finds a cluster of quirks that seem to be buried and as he reaches for them he gets the sense of that they are mostly useless, 'Pfuh he will be the judge of that. Now let's see... Ok, echolocation, but your eyes grow teeth? The hell? Can shoot fireballs, but your lungs are constantly on fire... ok, not. Do not have the body for that. Short range teleport? Why was this discarded? You get sent back a day and can change one thing? It... Holy it's the perfect crime. I am taking that.'

Opening his eyes he looks at the doctor, "Doc, why did he discard the teleportation one?"

Garaki blinks and frowns, "Explain again what it does?"

Izuku cocks his head, "It lets you teleport one day into the past so you can change one thing."

Garaki blinks and snaps his fingers, "Ah that one. Found it 50 years ago. It has a cooldown of 3 days and you can only change one thing."

Izuku smirks, "So say I take for example your quirk then travel to the past and give it to a quirkless child no-one will ever know it was your quirk they now have as they gained the quirk before you lost it."

Garaki blinks and then leans against the wall, "What? Let me think on that. You take someone's quirk... ok. You then travel one day to the past with this quirk and give the stolen quirk to a quirkless child... ok. Then who will never find out?"

Izuku grins, "The cops and heroes will never find out that the previously quirkless child is the new holder of let's say Endeavour's quirk, because the child showed the power before Endeavour lost his quirk."

Garaki blinks and slowly starts to smirk, "That is utterly devious. Why Endeavour? Isn't he the number 2 hero?"

Izuku frowns, "His son has been an alarming amount of times in the hospital for 'tripping on the stairs' and such. But it was just an example."

Kurogiri blinks and adds his two cents, "So you wish to change society by depowering those you deem unworthy of their power and giving it to quirkless children?"

Izuku nods, "I'll call it None-for-you and All-for-you."

Garaki blinks, "Why two names?"

Izuku smirks, "Give and take are known powers of HIM. So if I pretend to be the children of HIM. One with the power to take and the other with the power to bestow."

Kurogiri nods, "It will be less likely they know you are actually the new holder of 'Nature's Prerogative'."

Izuku nods, "And this quirk is perfect for it."

Garaki blinks, "Hmm would the quirk erasing bullets help too? To hide you actually take them?"

Izuku blinks, "What are quirk erasing bullets?"

Garaki shrugs, "It recently appeared on the market and All for One was going to look into it, but then All Might found him and you know the rest."

Izuku frowns, "Buy some and find out what they are. If it's something made we can make it too and so use that as a cover indeed." He then looks at his watch and pales, "I need to get home. My mom will kill me if I am much later then this."

Garaki shrugs, "So? It's not like she is scary, right?"

Kurogiri coughs, "His mother is Heartache. You know the woman former master tried to recruit and then had to heal his eyes for days as she tried to pull them out of his skull?"

Garaki pales and nods, "I see. Kid get back home. I'll be here in the lab."

Izuku nods, "Kurogiri can you teleport me to my house?"

Kurogiri points at the corpse, "He had a quirk that allows you to project into my mind where you want me to go."

Izuku blinks and after a few minutes of searching nods, "Ok. Got it." The two then vanish into a black portal.

Midoriya house living room

Inko is pacing though her living room while nearly growling on the phone, "No I am sure something is wrong. No my son would not run away. Da fuck you just say to me? I will..." She pauses in her rant as a black portal appears in front of her and suddenly her son is there with a black ghostly person she vaguely recognizes, "Never mind he just walked in. I hope the Shinigami tosses you into the Christian hell when you die." She then punches the end call button. The next moment she is hugging her son crying, "Izuku you had me worried sick. It's past dinner time and no note, no call, nothing."

Izuku blushes and sighs, "Sorry, mom. Something came up and I was busy with something. I completely forgot the time."

Inko keeps hugging her son for a while and when she is calmer she looks up at the shadowy person, "I'm sorry. Thank you for bringing my son home. You look kind of familiar, though I can't place it."

Kurogiri bows, "I am sorry for holding you son up, miss Heartache. You may have seen me in passing in the past."

Izuku sweatdrops when his new employee drops the vigilante name. He waits for his mother's reaction before saying anything.

Inko blinks and then frowns. Flexing a free hand she coolly states, "I don't think I know what you are talking about, sir. I know no-one by that name."

Kurogiri bows again, "My former master tried to recruit you a few years ago. You did not agree with his views."

Izuku giggles softly, "You apparently scared him quite a bit. I read some of his journals as he called you one of the scariest women he's ever met."

Inko blinks, "Someone who tried to recruit me? I don't remember anyone ever trying to recruit me." She is forgetting to deny being Heartache in the confusion of having been attempted recruitment.

Kurogiri blinks, "My former master was a tall man with white hair, who asked you to join him several times."

Izuku adds, "It must have been 12 or 15 years ago, mom. He was quite enamored by your quirk."

Inko blinks and thinks for a moment, "A tall man with white hair that wanted me to join him? Wait... You mean the creep that tried to flirt with me several times and wouldn't take no for an answer? I was sure I blinded him at the last attempt."

Kurogiri blinks and can only look on stunned, "Creep? Flirt?"

Izuku blinks as well and then falls over giggling, "Mom... That... That was the underworld boogey man and... and he tried you to join his organization."

Inko blinks, "Wait he wasn't trying to flirt? He kept talking about how beautiful I was... Wait. Boogey Man? That pervert was All for One?"

Kurogiri is getting a poleaxed look for as much as a man made out of shadow can, "Pervert?"

Izuku falls to the floor laughing, "I... I think... I think he was talking about your quirk, mom. Not your looks."

Inko blinks and then frowns at her son, "Ok. I know I have gained a bit of weight, my darling boy, but back then I was a stunning beauty."

Izuku blinks and quickly gets up, "I wasn't saying that. I was just saying..." He turns on the quirk view and gasps, "Ok wow. That is indeed beautiful. It does need a bit of training, though as it looks neglected."

Inko blinks and blushes. She then frowns, "Ok. I guess I need to train again if I were to want to get back in the field, but I was taking care of you and so don't need it that much now." She then blinks, "Wait, you can see my quirk?"

Izuku nods and smiles, "Yes, mom. I now have a quirk and I can see your quirk."

Inko squeals in happiness and hugs her son, "Oh it finally activated? I thought you were diagnosed quirkless."

Izuku gasps and then has to claw at his mother's grip, "Air... air..."

Inko blinks and then blushes as she backs off, "Sorry."

Izuku gasps for air and nods, "I... One moment." Getting his air back he stands up straight again, "It's ok, mom. I did not exactly activate a quirk as I was given one."

Inko blinks and frowns, "You did not make a deal with THAT man, right?"

Izuku shakes his head, "Not exactly. He sort of gave me his empire."

Kurogiri has recovered enough by now to help, "Former master made the mistake of fighting All Might and not taking him serious enough. All Might left the battlefield alive, my former master did not."

Inko blinks again, "Ok explain."

Izuku looks down, "I found this busted up part of town and wanted to see if I could find who fought there so I could get more information on their quirks. I found a dying All for One and he sort of forced his quirk on me? I still don't understand how I got it to be honest."

Kurogiri nods, "I will explain it more thoroughly then. My former master was old. Long ago he had a brother who was sickly..." After telling the whole story of how One for All came to be and how All for One wanted the quirk to return to the family he ends with, "One for All has shown to be able to pass on to the next by ingesting DNA of the holder. Former master seems to have done the same with young Izuku-sama."

Inko blinks as she gets a story she never heard of, but nods as it explains things. She then looks at Kurogiri, "Why do you keep calling him former master and my son -Sama?"

Izuku blinks and thinks back, "So that is why he forced blood down my throat. I understand now."

Kurogiri bows, "I am master's main transportation. I am one of the first and best Nomu created by my former master. He bound me to his quirk, so as now young Izuku has it I am bound to Izuku-sama."

Inko blinks, "What is a nomu?"

Izuku looks a bit sick, "They were experimenting with quirks to see if they can make people hold multiple like mine can. Three seems to be the max a person can hold and still retain their sanity. From what I read he tried to make ones with 4 quirks, but they went insane. Then he tried with corpses and found it worked as it's just an animated corpse, though the brain swells too much and the bodies usually deform."

Kurogiri blinks, "You already read the research?"

Inko blinks and shivers, "I see. Please tell me you are stopping that."

Izuku nods, "I had to wait three hours, so I read his journals. Quite interesting. He knew a lot on quirks." He then looks at his mother, "I will. The research on it's own might be useful, but I do not like the idea of reanimating corpses. HE did it as he needed an army to take over society and force it into his image. I don't want an army." With a smirk he then says, "I already have a few ideas on what I want to do with criminal empire I now have. I was thinking of turning it towards vigilantism."

Kurogiri looks at his young master, "You read all of them? There are more then 5000 of them."

Inko blinks, "Hmm I see." She then looks down and sighs, "I don't think I fit my suit anymore though."

Izuku shakes his head, "No I only read... 500? 750? I had three hours and I like to read about quirks." He then boggles at his mother's statement. Seeing the wistful look she has he then places a hand on her transferring 'Peak Body' to her, "With this you will be back in form very quickly. Once it's finished I'll take it back, though as it's useful for me too."

Kurogiri sits down on a chair, "Read more then 500 journals in three hours..."

Inko shivers as she feels something entering her and blinks, "What did you just give me?"

Izuku smiles, "It's called 'Peak Body'. It will turn your body to it's peak as it can be for your age and then maintains that. This will make it easier for you to get back in shape. Then I'll take it back as I need it too."

Inko nods, "I see. That is a useful quirk indeed." She then claps her hands, "Let's eat dinner. You still have school tomorrow."

The rest of the evening was spend getting to know Kurogiri and hashing out plans on how to change the criminal empire into a vigilante one with Inko giving tips on how to do things as she was a vigilante until she got pregnant.

The next day after school

Izuku is in a foul mood after another day of getting bullied and getting his test changed. Seriously it wasn't his handwriting and was that teacher really stupid enough that anyone who had an ounce of thought could see that the name was written in the same handwriting as the corrections. Oh he wishes he could just burn down the school with nearly everyone in it. He will deal for now. This school isn't worth revealing himself to have a quirk now. Having seen what it does to a person he rather stay 'quirkless'. Fuckers. Hearing explosions behind him he stalks around a corner and with a nod to the waiting Kurogiri he vanishes from the dead end just before a certain explosion aficionado can round the corner.

Once back in the lair he draws a deep breath and lets it slowly out. Opening his eyes he sees the doctor standing there, "What did you learn from the bullet?"

Garaki cocks his head, but nods, "Business first then. The bullet isn't much, but inside is the fascinating part. It's filled with blood. A 4 year old girl's blood to be precise. Also it's strange there were some concrete molecules mixed in like it was scraped off a wall." (I looked it up and Eri was 6 when Izuku found her. As he was 15 or 16 at the time I'm aging Eri up as I need her earlier in the story. She was sold when her quirk activated, so she is at least 4)

Izuku freezes and almost mechanically turns his full attention to the doctor, "What did you say?"

Garaki nods, "I understand your reaction. I like to experiment myself, but even I don't experiment on 4 year old children."

Izuku growls, "Where did the bullets come from?"

Garaki smirks, "A yakuza group that calls themselves Shie Hassaikai. Someone who calls themselves Overhaul is leading them."

Izuku nods, "I see. You have a location of their base?"

Kurogiri speaks up, "I know where they are as the former master had a few dealings with them."

Izuku pulls out his phone, "I see." He then calls a number, "Hey mom? Yeah I'm at the base. School doesn't matter right now. How do you feel about your first restart of being a vigilante being taking down a group of yakuza? Why the yakuza? They are using the blood of a 4 year old child to create quirk erasing bullets. I see. I'll have Kurogiri pick you up. See you soon." Looking at Kurogiri he says, "Mom is getting ready. Please collect her in 5 minutes and bring her here." He then stalks over to where he found a few closets of clothes. As he rummages through the closets he blinks as he comes across two theatre masks and grins, "Ok this works. It's perfect for my debut as None-for-you." He then cobbles together an outfit that will hide his identity. When he gets back to the main room his mother is there in her vigilante outfit.

(Found this cool pic of a vigilante Inko. Just add a green domino mask)          (Izuku is wearing the tragedy for None-for-you and the comedy for All-for-you)

Heartache looks over as a person she doesn't know walks in, but then realizes it's probably her son, "It's an ok outfit for a start, but why the tragedy mask?"

Izuku pushes his mask up, "Losing your quirk is a tragedy, not? And the ones we are going to visit deserve to lose their quirk."

Heartache nods, "I agree. It's amazing this still fits. It's a bit tight now, but that quirk you gave me is helping. I already lost some weight I gained from stress eating."

Izuku nods and pulls his mask back down, "Kurogiri, let's go."

Kurogiri thinks for a moment wondering if he should mention Tomura, but decides this is a bonding moment for mother and son. Also Tomura could possibly just dust the girl they are going to save. With a nod they are gone from the base.

Shie Hassaikai base

Overhaul looks up from his work when he hears something and seeing a familiar portal forming he wonders what All for One wants this time. He blinks as three people appear and none of them are All for One. Looking at the shadowman he remembers he asks, "What do you want and who are they?"

The smallest of the three walks forward and looks up at Overhaul, "I'm guessing you are the leader here? Overhaul? Father told me about you."

The woman in the hero costume only gives a slight start, but then smirks, "I think he is, boss. The way he stands is like the one who calls the shots."

Overhaul blinks, "Father? Didn't know the guy had children. What's your name, kid, and what can I do for you?"

The child in the tragedy mask cocks his head to the side, "I am None-for-you. I came here because we had some problems with the bullets you sell. We wish to know more about how you create them."

The hero then steps forward, "And I am Heartache. I do hope you know of me. I know I've not been out and about for a bit, but still."

Overhaul looks curiously at the child that has as bad a naming as his father... At least he assumes it's a male child. The hero no the vigilante though... Oh he knows about her, "I thought you were dead or captured. Are you acting like a merc now?"

Heartache smirks, "You could say that. I am here as a bodyguard."

Overhaul nods, "I see." He then pulls a walkie-talkie from a pocket, "Oi. Bring her up. Someone wants to see the process." He then looks at the kid with the bad name, "I respect your father, so I will show you. I hope you can stomach blood."

A few minutes later a guy walks in with a small female child that has a horn growing from the right side of her head. She looks absolutely terrified. Overhaul points to a bed, "Sit, Eri."

The little girl nods and shivering sits down on the bed. As the tall man gets closer and pulls off his glove she cringes, but she does wonder who the one with the strangely sad mask is taking hold of the hand of the woman next to him. Then Overhaul's hand is on her face and she prepares for the pain of dying once again... 'I am dead, not? What is he waiting for?' Opening her eyes again she blinks as Overhaul looks at his hand and places it on her face multiple times. Then the small masked person speaks up.

None-for-you watches as the child is brought in and frowns behind his mask. The girl is utterly terrified. As he watches he sees Overhaul take off a glove and nods internally, 'So it's touch activated.' Grabbing Heartache's hand he borrows her quirk and combining it with Nature's Prerogative he pulls Overhaul's quirk from him just moments before he touches the girl. Once he has the quirk he returns his mother's quirk back to her. Seeing the confusion on the now former Overhaul he steps forward, "Matter rearranger, huh? Quite the interesting quirk. It is only sickening that you use it to kill children and then probably reassemble them. You really are a sick person."

Overhaul blinks stunned as his quirk doesn't activate. After trying for a few times he turns around to the kid as he hears his quirk getting described, "What did you do to me."

Nano-for-you smirks behind his mask, "What I did? Isn't it obvious? What is my name again, bonehead. Also what can father do?"

Overhaul blinks, "You called yourself None-for-you and your father can give and t a k e. . . You took my quirk. You fucking stole my quirk."

None-for-you gives a slight bow, "Those who have no regard for life do not deserve to have it. You are just not worthy."

Overhaul growls, "I'll have your head for this." He then suddenly starts choking as something is wrong with his throat. His eyes drift to the woman he momentarily forgot is still there.

Heartache smirks as she hears how he son is reasoning for taking the quirk and then frowns as the guy starts uttering threats, Lifting her hand she manipulates the guy's Adam's apple, "You will do no such thing."

None-for-you then walks forward past the choking man and kneels at the bed, "Hey. I'm here to get you out, ok? There is no need to be scared of me. I will take off the mask when we are safe." He then looks back at Overhaul, "Also. Any wishes for what you want to happen to him?"

Little Eri looks on stunned and then in awe as the monster that hurt her so much is stopped and then even is held by his throat at a distance. It's like that one old movie her father liked so much before he went poof. As the one with the sad mask comes over to her she is at first scared, but his calm voice and lower stature calms her. At the question she looks at the choking monster and says, "Can you remove his arms and legs?"

None-for-you blinks at the brutal request, but this girl has been tortured by the guy, so... Looking at Kurogiri he orders, "You heard her. Remove his arms and legs. Heartache will help lifting his arms if needed."

Kurogiri blinks and nods, "as you command, young master." Looking at the guy they are choking he manipulates his very being creating small portals and slipping them up his legs and arms. Allowing the other ends of the portals be in front of Overhaul he then stops generating the portals and instantly the guy's limbs fall down in front of him and blood gushes from the torso that is now missing four of the five extremities.

Overhaul cannot utter a single protest as his sentence is discussed. He watches in amazement and fear as his libs start to appear from portals in front of him and then he suddenly falls to the ground. As he lies there bleeding out he hears, "Kurogiri please take little Eri. I will finish up here." Then he is alone with the child of All for One. The kid then crouches in front of him.

After making Kurogiri send off his mother and little Eri None-for-you walks over to the dying man and crouches down, "I don't think you will be reborn as monsters like you don't deserve to stay on the wheel, but if you do let this be a lesson. Never harm children." He then places a hand to the ground, "Now let's see. Ah this is how you activate it... let's see now... my my quite the extensive tunnels you have. Not anymore. And done. I wonder what they will do when the ones that aren't here find your dead torso and the rest of the tunnels just not there. If anyone were to excavate this they will find crushed bones. Have a nice death." Standing up he nods, "Let's go back to the base."

Overhaul's last moments alive are filled with the realization that he got what he wanted, no longer cursed with a quirk. Also he knows that only one employee is not here today as he is home sick and will only arrive in three days. Then the world grows black and he is no more.

Back through the portal

As None-for-you steps out of the portal he blinks as he sees they are not in the normal place, but a bar. He then sees a teen standing not too far from young Eri with a hand outstretched, but not moving. Seeing Heartache with her hand out in front of her he nods. Stepping up he demands, "What is going on here."

Kurogiri sighs, "I thought it good to introduce you to the adopted child of All-for-One, Shigaraki Tomura. Sadly he did not respond kindly to young Eri being brought here."

Tomura growls, "Let my hand go. NPC's need to be destroyed."

Heartache shakes her head, "After all we went through to rescue her I will not let you touch her."

Before None-for-you can say anything a tv monitor shows static and a voice sounds, "Stand down, Tomura. Young Eri is to live here. Even I will not experiment on little children. The Shie Hassaikai have been destroyed for doing just that. Keep in mind that children are the future. We are to destroy the system, not annihilate the future."

Instantly Tomura stops and looks at the monitor, "Yes, Sensei. Why aren't you here to tell me this?"

The voice from the monitor sighs, "My fight with All Might did not go well. I am recovering from it. The woman you see is Heartache a vigilante who is quite terrifying as you already can guess. Her quirk is 'Attraction of small things' Best not to anger her. The boy with the sad mask is None-for-you. It is up to him if he decides to tell you his name, but do note his quirk is quite like mine."

Tomura blinks, "How is attracting small things dangerous."

Heartache smirks, "Do keep in mind, young man, that your eyes are small things, as are your lungs, Adam's apple, heart, kidneys, stomach and liver. Basically all internal organs other then your intestines."

Tomura blinks and gulps as he suddenly realizes just how dangerous this person could be, "So epic rare draw?"

Heartache blinks, but thinking back on her son's gaming she smirks, "Think of me as the SSS class character that joins your quest, but still is on their own."

Tomura blinks as he gets game references back and nods, "Got it. So we advanced a whole lot with you here." He then bows, "I am sorry for trying to attack you."

None-for-you is just speechlessly looking on as he knows for sure that All-for-One is dead. So who is talking. Then the monitor sounds again, "None-for-you. Take Eri and go deliver the package. It is best she sees it be delivered." He then nods, "Right." Turning to Eri he holds out his hand, "Shall we leave the scarry teen to the nice lady and go elsewhere?"

Eri blinks and looking at the one that helped her get free she nods and takes his hand. She does not want to stay in the room with the scary teen for now.

None-for-you looks at the others and then nods deciding what to say, "Mom. It's up to you if you tell him who you are, but Kurogiri seems to trust him. We can't have dissent within the organization. Eri and me will be back soon."

Heartache nods, "As long as your Tomura behaves I might tell him. Be safe."

None-for-you then leads Eri out of the room.

Traveling to the past

Once they are in another room he takes off his mask and hood showing his face and hair to the younger child, "Hey there, Eri, I am Izuku. I'm 9 years old, so only twice your age."

Eri blinks as the guy with the sad mask is not an adult, but a child like her. She then looks at his curiously, "What are we going to do?"

Izuku smiles as he pulls off his outer clothes, "We are going to give another child Overhaul's quirk. I would like you to join me so we can pick someone who will not use the quirk like it was done to you. Do you want to come with me and make a quirkless child happy with HIS quirk?"

Eri looks a bit unsure, "Overhaul is dead, isn't he?"

Izuku nods, while pulling on colorful clothes, "I took his quirk and then cut off his limbs just like you asked."

Eri then nods, "I will go with you."

Izuku smiles and grabs another mask. This one is a smiling one, "I will be using the name All-for-you, ok? Look." He points at the sad mask, "Sad means None-for-you and happy means All-for-you. Ok?"

Eri blinks and slowly nods, "Why?"

Izuku sighs and pushes his mask up to show his face, "The previous person who had my quirk was a bad person, but he is dead now. I am going to stop bad people, but I have to hide I have a bad quirk, so if they think I only have half the quirk they will not link me to the bad man." He then points at the sad mask, "The sad mask will take quirks and the happy mask will give quirks. Right now we are going to give a quirk to a sad child that was not born with a quirk. We are going to make people happy, so a happy mask."

Eri blinks and nods starting to understand the situation, "So you want me with you to make sure that you pick the right person who will not do the bad things Overhaul *shiver* did?"

Izuku nods, "You are very bright. That is indeed what we are going to do." He then pulls the mask back into place. Holding out his hand he says, "Shall we, Eri?"

Eri nods and places her small hand in his slightly larger hand, "Let's make someone happy."

All-for-you nods and calls, "Kurogiri? Put us in an alley near a center for quirksupport." One black portal later he looks around and nods then activating the time jump quirk. To Eri and his eyes the sun seems to turn backwards as do all the people that walk past the alley. Then it stops and All-for-you nods, "Ok, let's make someone happy."

The two walk out of the alley and after looking around for a bit they spot a sign that says 'Quirkless support group, 3rd floor' Entering the building they walk up a few stairs until they come to a door. Knocking on the door All-for-you waits until they open it, "Hello. Is this the quirkless support group? If so is there a meeting now?"

The woman who opens blinks as she sees two children in front of the door. One clearly has a quirk as she has a small horn coming out of her skull and the other is dressed like a clown, "Yes and yes, but you clearly are not here for that."

All-for-you points to his red sneakers, "I know what they go through. I may have special circumstances, but I wish to talk to them."

The woman blinks as she sees that the clown has the quirkless shoes and nods. Stepping back she opens the door fully, "The session has started 15 minutes ago."

All-for-you smiles as he is led in and steps in pulling Eri with him. Once inside he walks up to the circle of parents with their children, "Good day to all. I know I look weird. I am weird, but I am also something good. I understand that the adults will not trust me, but we are not here for you." He then looks at Eri, "Go ahead. Look to see who you think is best." Letting her hand go he then turns to the circle again, "I am sorry for barging in like this, but I come bearing a gift. My name is All-for-you and I am here to make one of the children happy."

Eri nods as she is let go and starts looking at the children gathered. Some are teens, some are around her age. She walks up to every child and looks them over and then looks them in the eyes. In some she sees envy and with a lot she just sees curiosity.

The parents blinks and frowns at the colorfully dressed person. One mother asks, "And what do you have that will make one of the children happy?"

All-for-you bows, "I will bless one child with a quirk." He then holds up a hand, "I want nothing in return. I would like for you to keep it secret that I was here. Also I will say that you may get a visit from the cops when you register the quirk, but keep todays date in mind. The reason you may get a visit from the police or heroes is that the quirk looks a lot like one a certain villain has. I will not tell you how I got the quirk or who this villain is. If you agree with this I might come back another day and bless another child. If you do not trust me or don't want me to bless a child we will leave."

The parents look shocked and stunned at this turn of events, but a lot are desperate as quirkless children face a lot of discrimination. One father asks, "Is the quirk a villainous one then."

All-for-you shakes his head, "Villainous quirks do not exist. All quirks can be used for good or evil. It's the actions of the wielder that decide whether the person is evil or not. It's never the quirk's fault."

Eri after looking over most of the children pulls a 5 year old forward, "This girl. I think she will do the quirk justice."

All-for-you kneels in front of the child, "Do you wish to have a quirk?" Getting a nod he nods back, "Then I bestow onto you, Matter Manipulation." He places his hand on the child's head and gifts Overhaul's quirk. Once it's done he points at an empty chair, "Try to change that chair into something else. Be careful as it is a very powerful quirk. Just touch the chair with a hand."

The little girl nods and looks at her hands. She then touches the chair and thinking for a moment it changes into a wooden duck.

The mother of the child gasps in shock and looks at the strangely dressed boy, "Thank you. Thank you."

All-for-you nods, "I will give both a warning and will demand a promise."

The mother nods, "The warning is that it's a powerful quirk and she could harm someone by accident?"

All-for-you nods, "Get her gloves as that will prevent accidental activation. Now as for my demand. Promise me. Swear to me that you will make sure she never uses this quirk to torture other people. The villain unalived young Eri here multiple times and reconstructed her with the quirk. Swear this will never happen again."

The mother pales and shaking nods, "I swear that will not be what my Risa becomes. If I hear my daughter do something like that I will stop her myself."

All-for-you nods, "Thank you. I don't think the cops will come as the villain called the quirk something else, but in the off chance they do..."

The mother nods, "My daughter activated the quirk in frustration on this day and it's called Matter manipulation."

All-for-you nods, "Thank you. Go celebrate with your daughter." He then turns to the rest, "I am sorry, but I can only bestow once every so often. If I find other mishandled quirks I might return. Please. Do not report me as then I will never return."

A father asks, "Just who are you?"

All-for-you bows, "Who I am doesn't matter. It's all for your children."

A mother nods, "All-for-you. I see now. Bless you and your gift."

All-for-you holds his hand out to Eri, "Come. It is time to leave."

Eri nods and takes his hand. The next moment they are gone.

One day later (the day of the raid)

The person who let the two children in the day before blinks as the two children suddenly appear in the room, "Is this why you can only bestow one quirk?"

All-for-you blinks and nods, "Please keep it secret. I can travel one day to the past and change one thing. It's the ultimate quirk theft, not?"

The woman chuckles, "And the cops can't really link the quirks as it appears the day before the real one gets taken. That is pretty smart. Why do this?"

All-for-you sighs, "What I said about Eri being tortured was correct. I... *looks at the clock* Huh. I am currently rescuing her from her torturer. Neat I arrive before I left. Please keep this hidden. This one you might not hear of, but others you might. If you really care about the quirkless like I do then let me do this."

The woman nods, "I have seen what being quirkless can do to a person. I started this because my own son took his life while still a teenager. I will not let another parent go through that."

All-for-you nods, "Thank you. I will return if I come across another one that misuses what should be a gift."

The woman claps her hands, "May the gods watch over you and support your work."

As they leave Eri asks, "Why tell her?"

All-for-you smiles, "If she knows and supports what we do then she will deflect the cops and heroes that might look into this. Also she will welcome me the next time I wish to help another quirkless child. I may not be quirkless anymore, but I know what they go through."

The woman letting them out snaps her fingers, "That's why you have the shoes."

All-for-you nods and seeing Eri's questioning gaze he points at his red sneakers, "The quirkless have an extra bone in their foot. They force us to wear these sneakers as other shoes do not fit our feet. So the red sneakers is a sign of the quirkless."

Eri blinks, "No other shoes, only the red shoes?"

All-for-you nods, "Only these."

Once outside they move to the alley and All-for-you calls for Kurogiri. As the shadowman appears he looks confused, but All-for-you says, "The time quirk returns you early. Portal us to the main base, not the bar."

Kurogiri blinks and nods. This was a part of the quirk they had not foreseen, but could be useful. He then opens a portal to the lair, while still holding watch over the raid of Overhaul.

In the lair

All-for-you and Eri appear in the lair and Izuku pulls off the mask, "Ok. That went very well, not?"

Eri smiles, "She seemed very happy with her new quirk. Now he is fully gone." She then hugs Izuku.

The older boy smiles and rubs Eri's head, "You are now safe. If you wish mom, the woman in the strange outfit, can be your mom too. You can be my little sister."

Eri beams in happiness.

Isuku looks around and seeing a monitor he realizes this one is connected to the one in the bar. Closing his eyes he looks through his mental library of the quirks he has and smirks when he comes across one that allows manipulation of electronics. He uses the quirk to turn the monitor on and it shows the inside of the bar where Tomura is playing a console game. After a few minutes he sees his mother and Eri arrive in the bar and sees Heartache stop Tomura from attacking Eri. He waits for the right time and using the quirk turns the other monitor in the bar to sound only with static. Using a quirk to mimic All-for-One's voice he berates Tomura and explains what is going on. Then he sends himself on his way to 'deliver the package'. Looking back at Eri he smiles and pulls his mask back in place, "Shall we go back and see if we can fool that other boy?"

Eri happily nods, "Sure, big brother."

All-for-you smiles, "Kurogiri, please send us to the corridor outside the bar." The next moment they are gone.

The bar

Not long after None-for-you left with Eri a colorful person enters with Eri, "Package delivered."

Tomura blinks and looks wearily at the new person, "And who are you?"

All-for-you bows, "My name is All-for-you. I give quirks to those who deserve it. You have met my brother None-for-you, right? He can take quirks from those who do not deserve them."

Tomura blinks and nods still a bit weary, "That sounds like Sensei's quirk indeed. Just split."

Heartache giggles a bit at the subterfuge.
