Chapter Text
“Oh help me.” Nao whimpered into her hands with a smile, acting like she was crying into her hands in fear. “There are so many villains here.”
“Don’t worry, damsel! We are here!” Tenko and Hana cheered in unison as they ran into the room, punched the air a bit and then struck a pose.
“We have defeated all the villains, civilian! You’re safe now.” Hana said proudly as her younger brother nodded.
“Oh thank you, heroes. I already feel much safer.” The mother laughed, only for her to see Kotaro behind their children, glaring at them before coughing in his fist, drawing their attention towards him as well.
“Didn’t I tell you two to stop with this hero nonsense?” The man asked with an annoyed look. Seeing this, the Shimura siblings’ smiles immediately fell.
“Sorry, papa.” They sighed as they removed the blankets they used as capes, looking utterly defeated.
“…*sigh* You two wanted a dog right?” The father asked, causing his children's faces to light up again.
“Yes, papa!”
“Well I’ve given it some thought and if you two promise to take good care of them, we can go to the pound for a small dog.”
“Thank you papa!” The siblings cheered as they ran to get their coats, leaving Kotaro with his wife.
“So we’re getting a dog now.” Nao asked with a passive aggressive smile.
“I’m sure Hana and Tenko are responsible enough for a dog.”
“Are you sure you’re not just distracting them so they won’t play hero games?”
“…Do you want to come too or not?”
“Kotaro, we’re back.” Nao called out as she folded her umbrella. “Tenko, Mon, don’t forget to use the doormat.”
“Yes momma.” The little boy mumbled as he wiped his mud covered boots on the mat before putting them in the shoe rack.
“Welcome back, you two. Did you enjoy your walk, Mon?” Kotaro asked as Hana went to pet their corgi.
“Yes papa, we even saw,” Tenko began enthusiastically, only to stop himself, something Kotaro caught onto.
“You saw what?” The man asked skeptically as his son looked at his feet. “I asked you something, Tenko.”
“We just saw some heroes, Kotaro. We watched for a bit until we could move on.” Nao sighed as she urged Tenko towards his room.
Where he could hide Crust’s autograph.
“Tenko! Have you been inside my study?!” Kotaro yelled at his son, who was playing in the backyard with Mon.
“N-no!” The five year old stuttered in terror.
“Don’t lie to me, Tenko!”
“It was Hana’s idea! W-we’re sorry-BAM!” As Tenko tried to apologize, his father slapped him across the face.
“I told the two of you to never enter my study-SLAP!” Just as Kotaro was about to continue scolding Tenko, Nao ran out of the house and slapped her husband across the face before standing in front of Tenko.
“Keep your hands off my son!” Nao screamed before turning to her boy. “Tenko sweetie, go inside to your sister.”
“B-but momma.”
“Inside, Tenko.” The brunette ordered sternly as it became clear to Tenko that his parents wanted to talk alone. So like a good boy, he ran inside straight into Hana’s arms with Mon following him.
Now that the children were gone, Nao turned back to Kotaro.
“He’s just a child, Kotaro. Couldn’t you just have let it slide for once. Or just explain it to him and Hana. I’m sure they would have understood.” Nao pleaded with a pained facial expression.
“I told them not to go into my study and what did they do? Go into my study. It’s a simple rule they should know how to follow.”
“They’re children! With how big and important you make your study sound, Tenko and Hana were probably just curious!” Nao yelled furiously. “And this whole no hero rule has gotten out of hand!”
“It’s for their own good.” Kotaro growled as he stomped off. But then, his wife spoke up again .
“Take one more fucking step towards them and I swear to god, I’m taking Hana and Tenko. Because right now, you are not the man I loved!” The brunette mother yelled as tears ran down her face. Kotaro meanwhile stared at her with widened eyes. “For once in your life, think how your issues has affected our family.”
“…I’m going for a stroll.” The black haired man grumbled as he walked towards the porch before turning around. “I’ll apologize to Tenko after I’m back.”
“Not man enough to do it right now?” Nao growled, only for her husband to ignore her as he walked onto the sidewalk.
“Hana, are momma and papa done with arguing yet?” Tenko muttered as he hid with his older sister behind the couch.
“No, Tenko. They're still going at it
“I'm not sure. I don’t see papa anymore.” Hana muttered before turning to Tenko. “Why did you have to take that photo instead of just putting it back?”
“Father looked happy in it. So I wanted to show it to make him happy again.” Her less than one year younger brother mumbled. “But I didn’t have the time.”
“Well he sure isn’t happy right now.” Hana growled as she looked over the couch, trying to see where Kotaro went. At the same time, Tenko made himself as small as possible before he furiously began scratching his eyes.
“Why doesn’t he just be nice to us? I apologize so it should be alright, right?” The little boy groaned as his sister continued listening. “I…hate…him. I hate dad for yelling at us. I hate that he hits him. I hate that he scares mom and makes her cry. I HATE IT ALL!” The boy roared as he tried to get up. But as soon as he touched the floor, the itching decreased as the room began to break.
As soon as Mon turned into dust, Hana ran out of the house, right into her mom outside. “Momma, something is wrong with Tenko!” She cried. “He killed Mon.”
“…Hana, I need you to go find your dad. He can’t be far from here. So just follow the sidewalk.” She had to sent Hana away, because this could get ugly. So once Hana left the garden, Nao ran into the house. “Tenko! Where are you?!” She yelled as her body slowly fell apart. Once she found her son, whose hair had turned blue, most of her toes and fingers were gone as her left arm was already shorter than her right one. “Tenko, what's going on?”
Instead of answering her, Tenko began to vomit as Nao looked around the room. There was dust everywhere, with parts of Mon laying in a puddle of blood.
“M-m-momm-ma…it hurts!” Tenko screamed as Nao had to act quickly. But what could she do?
Hug her baby. Make him feel safe, protected and calm so he could stop his quirk. So she got up and pulled him into a hug. “Try breathing in and out, baby. Can you do that?” Nao asked as her legs fell off. “It’s going to be alright, Tenko. I love you so much.”
As she whispered sweet words into his ears, Tenko slowly but surely calmed down as the decay stopped.
And Nao was fading fast.
“M-Momma!” Tenko screamed as he hugged his mom. “Someone! Help us! Please!” He pleaded as his dying mother didn’t let go of him.
“I’m…sorry…sweetie…I never…stop..him.” Nao apologized with a strained voice. “I ... .was a…terrible ... .mother.”
“Stop it!” Tenko screamed through his tears as Nao just smiled. “Help us! Someone! Heroes!” Tenko continued as he softly got out of Nao’s grip, accidentally breaking off her other arms. “N-No,”
“It’s alright, sweetie..” Nao said with a pained smile. “Accidents…happen..”
“But!”-“ But nobody came to save you two. ”
Tenko turned around to see a tall man with a black hat and suit. The man grinned down at the boy and his dying mom before speaking again as he extended his hand. “Clearly, you two have met a terrible fate. But I’ll help you.”
That was the last thing Nao heard before going to the light, at rest because someone was willing to help her babies.
But just as she was about to enter the light, she heard the mysterious man’s voice again. “ Don’t worry, Tenko, your mother is going to make it through..technically. ”
Not in her wildest nightmares did Nao expect that he meant he would turn her into a zombie maid.
But the tearful look on her son’ face when he saw her again, begging her not to leave him again, made it alright.
Human or not, as long as she had her son, she would be their mom. That, and her current state allowed her to go and find her husband and daughter.
When Kotaro was pulled to the house by Hana, it was all gone.
His house, his belongings, his wife, his son, all it was just gone.
“Nao…Tenko..” Kotaro mumbled in shock as the wind blew away some of the dust, revealing something that survived the destruction.
It was a photo of him and his family. And while Nao and Hana smiled, he himself looked annoyed while Tenko looked nervous.
“What have I done?” The man mumbled as he fell to his knees, all the while staring at the photo. Hana immediately went to hug her dad, but it didn’t make him feel a lot better.
His family, who he took for granted because of his personal vendetta against his mother, was gone. And the only one still here loved him, despite him having done nothing to deserve it.
“..Hana,”
“Y-Yes, daddy?
“Nao and Tenko might still be alive. Maybe they got kidnapped.” Kotaro said determinedly as he folded the photo and put it in his pocket. “And if that’s the case, I’ll save them and make up for my sins. But for that, I might need the help of a heroine.”
Notes:
This chapter is from a story that got discontinued not once, not twice, but three times. Mostly because it wasn’t sure of its identity. One version had the plot of a one shot, while another one was overflowing with side plots. Now, I want to keep a somewhat focus on the Shimura family, but also have a bit of a focus on Tomura’s relationship with Toga, Dabi, Compress, Spinner and Twice.
Comments make my day.
Chapter Text
Tenko sometimes thought about Hana and Kotaro, mostly in the context of whether he killed them accidentally, and if not, whether they are still looking for him and Nao. But those thoughts usually didn’t last long. He loved Hana, and had complicated feelings for his dad, but they weren’t here anymore. So the young man focused on his mom and Mon…even if both were zombies.
“Tenko! Breakfast is done!” As on que, Nao woke her son, now twenty years old, up for breakfast.
“Can you make a portal?”
“Nobody has died of walking downstairs themselves. I’m assuming you still have legs.”
“I dusted them.”
“No you didn’t. My mom alarm would have gone off.”
She used that one every day for the past fifteen years. So like the past fifteen years, Tenko got out of bed and walked downstairs, all the while grumbling what the use was of a warped who wouldn’t warp him.
“Morning, Tenko. Did you sleep well?” Nao asked as despite not seeing her face, Tenko knew she was smiling. Whenever Tenko asked why she was smiling, she told him she’s just happy to see him, and Tenko died a little inside.
“I slept fine..and you?”
“Still not tired. So I kept Mon company.”
Mon-Chan, their family’s deceased gorgi, who Tenko had begged AFO to revive, which he did…as a massive Nomu German shepherd with a massive jaw resembling a crocodile’s. Still, Tenko and Nao loved the little guy, even if he most likely ate human flesh.
“By the way, can you give Mon his medicine?” Nao asks her son before giving him a bottle of pills, as well as a slice of meat.”
“From which animal is this made?”
“I believe it’s bear meat.”
“…Where did we get bear meat?”
“Black market. Now roll the pill in bear meat.” Nao said before they discussed AFO’s latest plan. They would infiltrate UA’s USJ to kill All Might. But the trio couldn’t do it themselves. “I’m assuming we can’t just deal with Loud Cloud, All Might, Thirteen and twenty students ourselves.”
So Nao suggested Tenko look for allies..so friends.
Tenko, who stared at the bear meat in his hand like it had personally offended him, turned to his mom with a glare. “You want me to make friends again?” He asked as Mon, now the size of a motorcycle and softly growling at the fridge, knocked over a chair with his wagging tail. “Okay, open wide, murder puppy.” Tenko muttered, rolling the pill in the meat.
“All I’m saying is that AFO says it’s time for you to find allies. You know, people your age, shared interests, a love of chaotic destruction. I mean useful, morally flexible accomplices with no fear of death.”
“So friends.”
“*sigh* Yes, friends.”
In a dingy, flickering warehouse filled with smoke and poorly ventilated ambition, Tenko stood in front of a crowd of people…If you could call them that.
There was a guy with guns for hands. Another one in a trench coat who just had a plant for a head. One was literally just a girl with long hair yelling “IT'S WHIPPING TIME” every few minutes.
Nao stood beside Mon in the back corner, watching the scene unfold with arms crossed and visible disappointment radiating off her mist-covered face.
Tenko cleared his throat, trying to sound commanding. “We’re going to attack UA.”
“Nice. Do I get to whip those teens?” The girl clapped.
“...No,” Tenko muttered. “Well, maybe, but the goal is All Might.”
“Can we steal the cafeteria food too?” Asked a shark guy.
Tenko rubbed his temples. “We’re going to kill All Might.”
“Ohhh.” The gun guy nodded solemnly. “So, like, real villain stuff.”
“This is what fifteen years of villain training has led to? Discount mall anarchists? Half of them look like they’d lose a fistfight to a mop.” Nao leaned over to Mon, whispering in horror, with Mon woofing in agreement.
“Mom. I told you not to come.” Tenko turned to his mom with a twitching eye.
“I’m here for emotional support. Also to make sure none of these people try to stab you for clout….Or sneeze and accidentally kill themselves.”
She stepped forward and looked at the goons. “I’m Kurogiri. I’m Tenko’s mother. Yes, I’m dead. No, I’m just here to make sure my son is not working with paint-licking morons.”
The hair girl raised her hand. “Do you make muffins?”
“Not for you.”
Tenko sighed and turned back to the crowd. “Look. I don’t care if you’re unstable, weird, or a bunch of degenerates. I need people who hate heroes. Who want to wreck the system. If that’s you, great. But if you’re just here to cosplay evil, leave now.”
One guy left. He was wearing rollerblades and holding a single balloon. Nobody asked.
Nao put a hand on Tenko’s shoulder. “Well. At least you’re delegating. That’s something.”
Once they were back at the hideout, Nao flopped onto the couch, her misty hair coiling in visible exasperation.
“I’m just saying, sweetheart… you’re strong, scary, handsome”-“Mom.”-“Powerful. You could do better. Maybe AFO knows some better ones.”
“ I’m not helping Tomura right now. He has to learn to do things himself. ” AFO said over the intercom, which was the normal way he would contact them nowadays, including the whole Tomura rename crap.
Still, Tenko ignored it. Instead, he dropped onto the couch beside his mom. “We’ll find better people. These are just placeholders.”
They sat in silence for a moment, with Mon’s tail thumping lazily nearby.
“I’m still proud of you,” Nao said quietly, patting his head like he was still five. “But please, for the love of everything evil, next time, aim higher than radioactive fast food mascots.”
“Maybe they show you they’re worth their weight in gold.”
The USJ was supposed to be a peaceful day. A field trip with some training. Maybe Thirteen’s PowerPoint on how not to kill your classmates.
Instead, a portal tore open in the middle of the facility.
Mon walked out first, taller than a bear, eyes glowing, teeth like something from a nightmare taxidermy museum.
Tenko followed, hands in his pockets, sleeves torn, mood worse than usual.
Then came a wave of villains. Or people pretending to be villains. One was yelling “DOWN WITH THE MAN!” while wearing socks on his hands. Another was covered in googly eyes. A third might’ve been a mime. Maybe.
Lastly, the mist thickened to form Nao, who was very tired of this nonsense already.
“I really expected more security.” She muttered, closing the portal behind her son. “It’s a school, not a soup kitchen.” She sighed as Thirteen moved to evacuate. So Nao opened her portal to suck in Thirteen’s power.
But it was too strong, forcing Nao to take drastic measures. She briefly opened a portal behind Thirteen to stop her with a little back-breaking pain.
As the students screamed, Loud Cloud jumped on a cloud and flew towards the villains, easily pushing the goons up..but then he flew towards Mon, who jumped towards the hero. Oboro barely dodged the first leap. Mon hit a railing, bit it in half, then got back into the hunt.
By the time Oboro was in the dog’s mouth, Tenko began to get a little worried.
“So…We’re here for All Might.” He said awkwardly as someone in the back asked if they could stop by the cafeteria too.
Nao sighed before opening a lot of portal to warp away all the goons and most of the students. Only Izuku, Tenya, and Ochako remained. She then turned to Tenko. “You’re not killing kids today, especially not by these inbreds.”
“You’re ruining the plan.”
“Relax sweetie, you stil, got three hostages.” She told him before turning to the students. Two space themed with the third one looking like a robot. “You three, hands behind your backs and to the ground on your stomachs.”
“I’ll run for help!” Tenya shouted, already sprinting. No hesitation.
Ochako darted toward Thirteen, dragging her out of range of falling debris. “Don’t die.” She hissed to no one in particular.
Izuku meanwhile turned to Tenko and yanked a hair from his head.
A red Pikmin appeared. Squeaky. Ready for war.
Tenko looked at it, blinked, then looked back at Izuku. “What the hell is that?”
“I have... helpers.”
Izuku plucked again. A blue Pikmin. Then a yellow.
Tenko tilted his head. “You grow... what, garden goblins? You’re gonna fight me with salad?”
“Yep.”
The Pikmin latched onto Tenko like angry gumdrops. At first, he could easily decay them..but then there were more ans more. Izuku’s hair immediately regrew, allowing him to make hundreds of these things until they formed an avalanche that covered Tenko, forcing him to decay the ground to dig himself free.
And if things couldn’t get worse, All Might arrived, having been called by Tenya.
He was really fast.
And the first thing All Might saw was his colleague Loud Cloud getting spat out by a massive monster dog…So he punched it.
Mon hit the wall. Whimpered. Rolled onto his side and licked his own nose sadly.
Nao froze, as did Tenko.
“You hit the dog.” Nao said, horrified as Mon started whimpering at her feet.
“He hit Mon!” Tenko roared, looking between All Might and his sulking murder puppy. “Mom. Let’s kill All Mig”-“No. No, we’re not fighting the man who punches dogs.”
And so, the league of villains retreated, leaving behind all their goons.
A news report played in the background, audio crackling slightly.
“...a group of villains attacked the USJ facility today. Reports confirm that All Might intervened, and casualties were avoided thanks to All Might. According to the hero, one of the villains was a monster dog named Mon.”
Kotaro turned off the TV, his jaw clenched.
“Papa, there has to be more dogs named Mon.” Hana sighed, having just finished her shift as Majestic’s sidekick.
“Maybe Hana, but right now, it’s our only clue.” Her father sighed, his eyes sunken from exhaustion. Fifteen years of searching, and he finally had a clue where his wife and son were. “We need to speak with All Might.”
Notes:
It was a short chapter. Once we have more characters, they’ll probably get longer.
Mon is the USJ Nomu stand-in, as well as that high end Nomu that killed Native in canon.
Nao being Kurogiri means Oboro survived, so Aizawa wouldn’t care about teaching. That being said, he is in this story.
Izuku’s Pikmin quirk was a leftover from a canceled story. I’m not fully sure how much we get to see him, but he’s obviously one of the major students.

Chapter Text
The gates of U.A. loomed ahead, as impenetrable as ever.
Kotaro adjusted his collar and tried to look less like a man who hadn’t slept in fifteen years. Beside him, Hana wore her sidekick uniform, a light blue leotard with a bright red cape, boots and gloves, all in hope to look more professional.
“You sure he’ll even talk to us?” She asked.
“If he won’t, we climb the damn building.” Kotaro walked forward.
A security drone hovered down. “State your business.” Hana held up her ID. “The liquid heroine: Aquanura. Sidekick to Majestic. Proceed to the Administration Hall.”
“Mr. All Might,” Kotaro said, offering a handshake to All Might that was too stiff to be polite. “I’m Kotaro Shimura, and this is my daughter. You might know her better as Aquanura.”
“ Shimura? Like Nana Shimura? ” All Might asked, immediately getting more invested in the conversation. True, he already wanted to help however he could, but now that a Shimura or two were involved, he got serious. “ You must have questions. ”
“We do, sir.” Hana said. “There was a dog at the recent USJ attack, right?”
“ A dog, yes. He was massive, kind of like a monster fusion of a dog, a crocodile and a horror monster. ” All Might frowned. This wasn’t what he expected he would be asked.
“His name was Mon.” Kotaro pulled out a worn photo. A younger him. Nao smiling, a young boy in her lap while Hana sat on Kotaro’s. And a fluffy corgi was in the boy’s arms. “I think the young man that attacked you and the students is my lost son. I..was a horrible parent before he and my wife got kidnapped. He has the motivation for hating heroes.”
“ Why would he have the motivation? ”
“You mentioned Nana Shimura a bit ago.” Kotaro began as Toshinori wanted to do nothing more than gush about the woman who was like a mother to him. But then, Kotaro continued. “She put me up for adoption to fight villains. In hindsight, it was probably to protect me. But at the moment, it felt like she would abandon her own son to protect strangers. So I forbid hero talk in my house..and took it too far.”
“ …How far? ”
“I hit my son. My wife talked sense into me, I went for a stroll to calm down, and when I returned, they were gone before I could apologize.”
“ …So this is to make up for your son? ”
“It’s to make sure he doesn’t go down a darker path thanks to my sins. Because if I don’t… I’ll have failed him twice.”
Tenko lay sprawled on the couch, hoodie up, a bowl of chips on his chest. Mon was curled around him like a giant fuzzy scarf.
Nao flicked channels, her misty fingers phasing through the remote.
“Sports Festival is on.” She said.
“Pass.”
“You once wanted to go to U.A.”
“Yeah. Then Dad slapped me.”
She didn’t argue, but also didn’t change the channel. Izuku appeared on screen, and Mon growled softly.
“Yeah. I hate him too.” Tenko smirked.
“He’s clever,” Nao said, watching as Midoriya dodged an explosion before sending his Pikmin to attack Katsuki. “He could be your nemesis. According to the master, those are important.”
“I suppose your right, mom. And maybe, we can find a new recruit at UA to replace the previous losers.”
“So you admit they were worthless.”
“Of course they were worthless. But they were helping us, so never look a gifted horse in the mouth.” Tenko explained, right as Izuku won the match by pushing his opponent out of bounds, causing Katsuki to rage and charge at the greenette. The screen cut when Katsuki was attacking Midnight, who came to protect her student. “Maybe we can recruit him.”
“…Let’s keep him as plan B.” Nao mu,held as Tenko changed the channel, which immediately showed footage of Midnight being taken in by an ambulance while Katsuki Bakugou was being forced into a straitjacket and muzzle before he bit through someone’s throat.
“Come on, mom. He’s a rag-holic brat that attacks anyone who looks at him. Not look at him funny, just look at him. And he’s UA’s pride.” At this point, Tenko knew Katsuki Bakugou was his ticket to destroying hero society.
But before he could recruit/kidnap UA’s brat, he needed stronger allies. And Tenko had an idea who to get.
“So mom, how did you find this guy?” Tenko asked as Nao thought back to how she did it. Really, it wasn’t that hard…just hold Giran in front of a track with the trains coming any minute. After some crying and begging, Giran told her where to find their guy for free.
All of this, for the Hero killer.
“We want to work with you.” Tenko didn’t waste time.
“And what is your goal?”
“Rebuilt hero society to be reliant on them. For that, we need to kill All Might?”
Nao immediately made a portal to save her son from a sword attack. Stain meanwhile began snarling. “How dare you, you sick freak of nature?! All Might is the only true hero!”
“What makes you say that?” Tenko asked, weirdly calm. “I mean, I’m not a big fan of them. But why is All Might the only good one?”
“All Might is the only true hero! He does it for the true reasons.”
“…Kurogiri, you can send him away. We aren’t getting anywhere.” Tenko said..with a smirk. Seeing this, Nao got extra alert.
“What are you talking about, boy?” Stain snarled.
“Well you just showed me that for all your ‘ideals’ and ‘philosophy’, you’re just a mentally challenged fan boy. I mean, All Might does it for the right reason. You whine about heroes doing it for fame and money. But All Might is on talk shows, as well as being stupid rich. It’s a job you know, so of course the heroes get paid for it. This isn’t some communist hellhole. And let’s look at your actual victims until now. After doing some research, we concluded that they were D and C rank heroes, but had no actual crimes. So instead of going after actual bad heroes, you just go hero hunting, almost like you don’t actually care about what hero you kill, as long as your precious All Might is still there to fulfill your probable sexual fantasies. So you’re not a revolutionary, nor the savior of society, you’re just some fanboy incel with a sword.”
All of this was not to recruit Stain, but to get rid of him.
Stain was on everyone’s mind. The attack on the USJ was all but forgotten when Stain killed a single D list hero. So if the league were to make a splash, Stain needed to be gone.
Before Stain could hit Tenko, Mon had already charged at him, biting down onto his waist before shaking the killer around like a toy. Then, with a single SNAP, the Hero Killer Stain was cut in two.
Leaving behind his ‘ideals’ for the league to use.
Notes:
As embarrassing as it is, I don’t remember the in-universe reason Stain thinks of All Might as the only true hero. Like the specifics besides the usual ‘All Might = perfect god’.
Stain is a weird character to me. People call him the best reason but I kinda feel like people just like his motivation and call it there. Like we have canon ‘bad’ heroes (Mt. Lady, Uwabami), but the only confirmed targets of Stain are Native and Tensei, neither have been shown as corrupted, fame obsessed or greedy. So to me at least, it reads more like Stain just wants to kill every hero besides All Might, just because he’s a fan of the guy. Making it weirder, we meet plenty of heroes who are genuinely good heroes, but Stain kept going on that All Might was the only one (besides like Izuku).
Another short chapter, for the same reason as the last one, but I loved Tenko’s ramble. Next chapter is longer, I promise, even if I have to fuse two chapters together.
Comments make my day.
Chapter 4: Recruiting degenerates
Chapter Text
After outsmarting Stain, Tenko decided to go to the mall. Afterall, he had deserved something nice..,but they didn’t have the game he wanted. So Tomura went back a week later.
Now with a new video game in his bag, Tenko was about to call Nao..until someone charged at him.
“Baby bro!” Before Tenko could even think about using Decay, he saw who ‘attacked’ him. It was his older sister Hana. She looked..different. While he didn’t remember much about her appearance beyond a generic little girl. But he never expected her to get buff. Not Mirko or Star&Stripes’s buff, but more so..Miss Joke buff. But she still had her pigtails…and gave off massive lesbian energy.
Somehow, Tenko always knew it. Just like Hana always knew her baby bro was gay.
“..H-Hey Hana..you’re still alive.” Tenko said awkwardly. Because yes, this was awkward. For the last fifteen years, Tenko thought he might have killed Hana and Kotaro. He never saw them again afterall…That or Kotaro just never went looking for them. “Did the old man remarry yet?”
“..What are you talking about?” His sister asked. “Dad and I have been looking for you and mom for years. Where the hell have you two been?” She asked, really hoping he would confirm that he was not the villain that attacked UA.
“We got rescued by a man that showed me what’s wrong with hero society. Wanna join us?” Honestly, Tenko wouldn’t mind having Hana on the team. He would never admit it, but he did really miss her.
Unfortunately, Hana didn’t share his views. “Tenko, I’m a sidekick. Why would I want to destroy my own job?”
“…Dad let you be a hero?” Tenko asked, sounding genuinely surprised. Though Hana immediately picked up on the hurt in his tone.
“*sigh* Tenko, dad had a change in character. I’m not saying what he did was right, but,”-“But nothing.” Tenko cut her off. “You were always Kotaro’s favorite. Every minor mistake I made was a personal attack, while you could do whatever as long as you smiled cutesy at him.”
“Dad loves us equally. He’s really sorry about hitting you.”
“He loved you and mom. But me, he loathed me.” The young man laughed bitterly. “I bet he wished I was really dead.”
“…You weren’t there.” The second Hana whimpered this, Tenko was pushed out of what he called ‘supervillains’ mode. “You weren’t there when you and mom disappeared. You didn’t see the look of pain, regret, utter defeat on dad’s face. He swore he would do anything to make things right, even if it killed him. Fuck! He went to All Might for help. He hates All Might! He has done terrible things, but don’t you dare say he’s a pure evil asshole, when you spend your time playing supervillain and hurting innocent teens!”
Tenko didn’t say anything to his sister, nor did she say anything to him. But after an awkward silence, Tenko walked away into the crowd. And when Hana went after him, he was just gone.
“..Stay out of trouble, baby bro..because big sis will save you.
Perhaps wisely, Tenko didn’t tell Nao about Hana, purely because his mom hated when they fought. So instead, he focused on the newest recruits they were getting. They had taken Stain’s will and taken it for their own organization, resulting in about nine recruits after Nao got rid of the ‘Z-listers’.
That didn’t mean those nine were the most impressive. Case in point, the first recruit was a twenty-something old burn victim.
“Let’s start. What’s your name, quirk and motive?” Tenko asked as honestly, he didn’t like the vibe of this guy.
“I go by Dabi now. My quirk is cremation and I follow Stain.” The man said with a bored look. “So where is Stain?”
“He is annoying.” Tenko immediately told his mom, who just sighed ‘Maybe he’s nervous, give him time.’
“Not here, now explain your quirk.”
“It's called Cremation, so it’s hot fire. How are you too stupid to guess that.” Dabi said with a mocking tone….Causing Nao to warp him away.
“He didn’t fit.” The mother told her son casually before letting another villain in. This one was a blonde teen girl. “She’s in.” Nao immediately said, causing Himiko to emit pure happiness.
“Shouldn’t she get an interview?”
“Don’t question me on this, young man.” Ignoring her son, Nao makes Himiko a hot chocolate, leaving Tenko with the next recruit..who was also a kid.
“I’ll handle this one.” The leader immediately said before turning to Mustard. “So, why join us? Did you want to go to UA but failed?”
“No, I wanted to be a doctor. But most the educational budget in the fucking country goes to UA. And the rest goes to Shiketsu and Ketsu-butt-fuckers or something.”
Hearing that the little kid swore, Tenko immediately let him join. Still, it would be hypocritical if he didn’t ask more questions. “Do you have a quirk?”
“I make poisonous gas, though I’m not immune to it.”
“…So you want to be a doctor with a poisonous quirk?”
“Some of us aim higher than being the embodiment of touching kids inappropriately.”
“You’re really just sass stuffed into a tiny body...you’re in.”
Next up was…a mental case. The broker actually brought him in as a favor. Still, maybe he was useful.
“I’m Twice, I want to join you.” “ I would never want to join your stupid emo band. ” The man dressed in a black and white skintight suit grumbled. “Don’t listen to him. I’m happy to join.” “ You look like a virgin. Got no bitches here?! ”
“We’re here!” Himiko yelled enthusiastically, gesturing at her and Nao.
“Mmm, you could be a fun little sister.” “ But the MILF. My gawd is she is beautiful! ”
“Why thank you, but I’m hap..I’m still married, even if it’s a little complicated.” Nao laughed awkwardly, which made Tenko a bit sick. Because if Hana didn’t hate Kotaro, and mom still wanted to be considered married to him, Tenko was in the minority. So were they blinded by the happy times, or was the monstrous Kotaro in Tenko’s head not the real one.
To ignore this, he just decided to hire Twice.
“Greeting, it is I. Mr..”
“You’re Mr. Compress. You're a villain who steals from rich heroes and gives to the poor. You are part of a long line of peerless thieves. Your quirk Compress allows you to shrink down anything inside a spherical area into a small marble without actually damaging it. We heard enough, you’re hired.” And Mister Compress too, just for good measure.
Because maybe if there were two adult men in the room, mom would realize she could do so much better…ignoring that both Compress and Twice were closer to his age than Nao’s.
They had to have at least one Stain fanboy, as well as a mutant. You know, for diversity. And Nao’s modifications, Toga’s fangs and eyes, and Mustard’s gills didn’t count. So..they took in a Stain otaku that just happened to look like a lizard.
“So..are you cold or hot blooded?”
“Cold…You guys are with Stain right?”
“…Yes.”
“Why did you hesitate?”
“I was picking my teeth with my tongue.”
“Okay, good…Can I use your knives from the kitchen?”
“Why would you need them?” As Tenko asked this, Shuichi showed him a drawing he made of a dozen pointy weapons tied together. Tenko looked at it, then back at Shuichi. “Let’s get started.”
The next day, the next recruit came. And he was a goliath. A two metre tall blond man with a big scar on his face and a missing eye.
“So this is the league of villains? I expected a bit more.” He laughed out loud, causing Nao to roll her eyes. This, Muscular noticed. “What the matter, maid? Scared I’m making this place more fun by doing this?” The killer then picked up a plate amd dropped it on the floor. But before he could do it again, Nao socked him across the face.
Now missing a tooth, Goto stared at the bloody tooth on the floor, then at the unamused Nao, and then finally to Tenko. “Respect..just respect…Also I brought along a buddy from the jail I broke open for fun.”
Soon a tall man, restrained in a full body straitjacket while his mouth was held open with clams, entered the bar. And both former Shimura’s thought ‘What the hell is even that!’
“My name’s Moonfish…..I want to join League……” Moonfish groaned as he slowly got closer to Tenko.
“W-What's your quirk?” Tomura asks after letting this thing’s existence settle in.
“Blade tooth…..Can turn my teeth into blades….And control them.” As Moonfish explained this, he widened his mouth, almost making Tenko decay him on instinct. Even with AFO around, and Kotaro’s actions in the back of his mind, Tenko found Moonfish terrifying despite him not even doing anything.
Then Mon entered the room, and started licking both Tenko and Moonfish.
“…Wonderful…dog…Miss mine..”
“…You love dogs too?”
And just like that, the cannibal was hired too.
The last recruit, named Big sis Magne, entered with attitude. “You’re the kid with the pretty disaster face.” She joked at Tenko, putting her massive magnet down for a moment. “I fight with magnetism. I can polarize someone or part of someone based on their gender.”
“That could be useful. You got a spine or just a magnetic personality?” Tenko said, trying a joke himself.
“Both,” she said, smirking. “Also, your mom’s weirdly cute for a fog lady.” The fact that Magne was flirting with Nao meant she immediately was allowed in.
But then, someone returned. Not the king, nor the Jedi or the cat.
Dabi.
“I told you I would be back.” He proclaimed proudly as he casually sat down.
“You didn’t.”
“It was implied. Because if I”-“If I let you join us, will you shut the fuck up?”
And with that, Tenko had his elite squad of minions..hopefully they last longer than the previous batch.
All the while Tenko still hadn’t told Nao about Hana. Because what she didn’t know, didn’t hurt them.
Notes:
Small thing but Tenko and Hana’s sexualities will most likely never be relevant. This story is about the Shimura’s first, and then Tomura’s friendship with the league. I love romance, but it’s not important..for them. You of course have NaoXKotaro and a ship with Himiko since love is a big part of her character.
The recruitment was fun, just for how non serious it was.
Compress got screwed over.
Comments make my day. I live on them.

Chapter Text
Despite having just recruited nine people to his new league, Tenko wasn’t that invested in them yet. Sure, some like Spinner seemed nice, but they were his allies, his goons, his legion of doom. As long as they followed his orders, Tenko couldn't really be bothered by their personal things. And for most, that was a fine agreement. Magne, Compress, Twice and Spinner would follow their leader’s orders perfectly, as would Himiko, Muscular and Moonfish if it didn’t go too much against their own wants.
The issues were with Dabi and Mustard. Dabi because…He’s Dabi. Twelve minutes after being recruited by him, the fire user was already planning a coop to make himself the new leader. But that was fine, as Nao could easily deal with him.
But Mustard had another. He wasn’t malicious towards the league, he was even not malicious enough. Because he was clearly second guessing himself.
“Maybe you should talk to him.” Nao suggested as she and her son watched Mustard awkwardly fiddle with his mask in the corner.
“I don’t want to.” Immediately, Tenko sighed. “I’m not his babysitter.”
“Come on, Tenko. He’s part of our army, meaning you’re partly responsible for him.” His mom sighed. “And who knows, maybe he just needs someone to talk to.”
“…*sigh* Fine.” As so, Tenko walked towards Mustard, knocking him on the head like it was a door, to get the young villain’s attention. “Alright. Spill. What’s your deal?”
“…What do you mean?” Mustard asked skeptically, turning away from Tenko annoyed.
“You’ve been acting like a background extra since we recruited you. You used to be so sassy before. It’s fifty percent of the reason I recruited you.” Tenko pointed out with a smirk. “So start talking before Mon eats you or something.”
As Mon, curled up nearby, lifted his head and wagged his tail, Mustard started talking. “I just… I don’t know if this is really me,” he muttered. “I wanted to be a doctor, y’know? Help people. But with how people only care about hero schools, medical schools have to be so specific with which students they take to stay open with tiny budgets, it’s more about whether you got a healing quirk or not. So of course someone with a villain quirk got screwed over. So I,” He gestured vaguely at the league’s hideout. “I ended up here. But maybe I shouldn’t be.”
Tenko tilted his head, listening. His fingers twitched, ready to scratch at his neck, but he stopped himself. Instead, he leaned in. “So let me get this straight. You wanted to help people. Society said no. And now you’re second guessing?”
“…I just wanted to make the world a better place.” Mustard grumbled before turning to Tenko. “So do you think I should do then? I bet you find me unfit now.”
“..No, I think you should keep going.” Tenko said after a brief silence. “Society already shoved you out. You think if you go crawling back, they’ll suddenly change their minds? That they’ll hand you a stethoscope and clap you on the back? No. They’ll keep spitting on you. People like us don’t get second chances. We take what we want, and if that means playing the villain, then fine.” Tenko then began to smirk. “You can still help people. Just not their people, but ours. Everyone here’s broken, useless, or unwanted. That’s why they’re here. You want to be a doctor? Patch us up. You want to prove society wrong? Show them exactly what they threw away.”
The kid blinked. Then nodded, small at first, then firmer.
Tenko leaned back, satisfied. “Good. You’re not a doctor. You’re a villain. And villains live longer if they have a great medic.”
Nao, watching from across the room, tilted her head. She didn’t say a word, just folded her misty arms and let Mon rest his chin on her lap. But once her son returned with a smug look, she gave him a warm smile.
“Look at you, mister super leader.” She said, patting her son on the back. Normally Tenko would be embarrassed, but not this time. This time, he felt..good. Good because he helped another kid wronged by the system get revenge on that system that made his dream impossible.
Tenko couldn’t be a hero, so became a villain. Just like Mustard couldn’t be a doctor, so would become the league’s medic.
The objective of the league’s current mission was to kidnap Katsuki Bakugou at the UA training camp. Everyone with eyes could see the kid had issues, yet UA decided to push him as their current star. Not the annoyingly heroic Izuku Midoriya, nor his two friends that fought the league at the USJ until All Might showed up, but a brat who tried to kill his opponent for getting knocked out on live television….So he fitted in great with the league.
So by the end of the night, Katsuki was tied to a chair in the corner, while the league lost three members. Moonfish, Muscular and Mustard….That last one hurt a little, as Tenko did somewhat like his talk with the little guy. But you know, they could always break him out if Tenko wanted to.
Only that wasn’t true. Because while Muscular and Moonfish were just arrested, Mustard wasn’t so lucky. According to news coverage, two UA students had attacked him, with one of them smashing an iron fist against the side of his head.
He was dead within seconds, having apparently been hit on the wrong spot…And the media praised the UA students. He protected his poor defenseless classmates from the big bad villain afterall. But Tenko, he was seething. At the media, the student who did it.
And a little himself. If he hadn’t encouraged Mustard to keep going, the boy might have still been alive.
“Poor guy.” Magne sighed, shaking her head. “He didn’t deserve that.”
“You’ll be missed, little guy.” Himiko added. She didn’t know Mustard too long, but he seemed like a fun guy to tease back when they both bunked in one room at the bar.
But of course Katsuki had a different opinion on the matter. He was in fact smirking about it.
“Looks like that damn extra finally did something!” The blond brat laughed out loud. “Though again, of course that side character could only take down the weakest piece of chum of all chum.”
“..True, Mustard was weak.” Tenko said, catching his allies off guard with how smug he sounded. Though Nao didn’t hear that, but bitterness. “But he was of use. His quirk took down most of your schoolmates, he was clearly very smart, and he wanted to be the league’s very own medic. But what would you add to our team?” As he asked this, Nao realized what was going on.
Another ‘Stain’ incident.
“Why the hell would I join you freaks?” Katsuki growled, taking the bait.
“I mean, have you even noticed your own actions? Purely from your showings at the sports festival, you scream about killing people more than my entire league combined, and I’m counting Muscular, because he was also part of the league.”
“I just tell those extras what their place is.”
“…Which is dead..and you’re supposed to be a hero?” Compress asked skeptically.
“You’re really one of the fakes Stain warned us about.” Spinner added.
“Screw you, Fugly. I’m going to be the next All Might!”
“Hey! It’s not Spinner’s fault he’s not cute.” Himiko immediately came to the mutant’s ‘defense’. “And pretty sure All Might doesn’t scream about killing people.”
“Sounds more like an Endeavor thing.” Dabi added.
“So you’re ambitious, but too hot tempered. Pretty much a villain cosplaying like a hero. So why be a hero?” Tenko continued to poke, causing Katsuki to give the fun answer he was looking for. “You don’t seem like the guy to save people.”
“Let those extras save themselves, I’m fighting punks like you idiots. Because heroes always win!”
“But you guys lost. You got kidnapped, and Mustard knocked out a lot of people. The people are turning against heroes, so why not jump ship?”
“I rather die than join a bunch of freaks so ugly not even their mothers would love them!”
Hearing this, Nao began to get tired of the boy. Because nobody insulted her son. “Your mother clearly didn’t raise you well enough.”
“That old hag can try, but I don’t need to listen to the bitch!” Katsuki roared while Kurogiri closed in on him. “What are you going to do about it, Smoke-slut? Gonna put me in the time-out corner?! I’ve seen you baby Finger-fuck over ther-PANG” before Katsuki could finish, Nao slapped him across the face, shutting him up as even Tenko gasped. But Nao just removed the mist from her face to glare at the blond boy.
“I’m not your mother, but for the next couple seconds, you’re going to wish I did love you like one.” She then opened a portal under Latsuki, causing him to fall through it.
There was a silence of a couple seconds, before Twice spoke up first. “W-Where did he go?”-“Finally, the fucker is gone. Muscular had more manners.”-“To think he would replace Musty. He. Could. Never.”
“Turn on the television, Miss Magne. Then start channel surfing.” Magne did as Nao just told her, until she found a certain broadcast.
One with live footage of a press conference in front of UA with Nezu, right before Katsuki crashed down into the room with a bloody splat. Like Mustard before, he was dead within seconds.
But the league had other issues, the the heroes right outside their door.
Notes:
It took a long long while for this to be updated again, mostly because I had an issue with how to do this more serious chapter, as well as general busyness and this just being on top of my list. I think from now on, if you really want this to be updated at a normal pace, I’m gonna need it requested. Still, I want to finish this.
Also Mustard died again. Originally he and Tenko had a more hostile relationship, with Tenko looking down on him (and the rest of the vanguard action squad). Mustard would get arrested like canon, but return with Muscular and Moonfish as a secondary antagonist group and rival of the league. After a confrontation, Tenko and Mustard would have a mutual understanding, but Mustard still gets killed and Tenko learns to appreciate his teammates. Tenko was unlikeable, so I changed to Mustard being a decent kid caught in a bad crowd. He’s important for Tenko but a footnote in the league, hence why he never got a real name.
Also not for this, but I’m doing a mha X Pokémon story where Izuku moved from another region to Alola to do an adventure loosely based on gen seven. The thing is, I’m not fully sure on which region, plus which Pokémon he’s taking with him.
-Kanto and Abra
-Johto and Mareep
-Sinnoh and Buneary
-the Sinnoh one but Izuku is a girl (so lesbian Izuocha)Comments make my day.
Chapter 6: Listen to your instincts, kids
Chapter Text
I’ll keep this short and sweet. I LOVED the concept of Nao being Kurogiri, and how that affected the Shimura family. But as I went over my plan of this story again, I realized how eighty percent of it was padding. Stuff that could have been fun, but it was essentially filler. At that point, I could try to shorten it to the important stuff…or make it a subplot in another story where the Shimura’s are alive but Tomura is still a villain.
Needless to say, I did the latter. It’s not a one to one moveover, but it has the same concept as well as the first chapter of this, if heavily edited to match the new versions of Kotaro, Nao and their kids.
Anyhow, it's unfortunate, but at least the idea isn’t forgotten..also follow your instincts, people. Before posting the first chapter, I thought this would have worked better as a one short, but didn’t listen.
A new kind of Shimura family drama, now with Momo as the little sister, and Nao’s Royal bloodline
