The Nemesis-
“LORD MEGATRON, WE ARE CURRENTLY BEING UNDER ATTACK BY THE AUTOBOTS! I REPEAT WE ARE UNDER ATTACK BY THE AUTO-” *communication cuts off*
“Those pesky Autobots.” Megatron grinds his sharp teeth and growls in annoyance as his Communications expert, Soundwave silently looks at his master with worry, Megatron calms himself down and answers to his old friend’s concerns, “I’m fine Soundwave, right now we are currently in a tight situation; although Optimus and his pathetic Autobots may think they have the upper hand, but we the Decepticons know we are far stronger in numbers.” As Megatron was about to say more, Soundwave received a call from none other than Starscream, the Second in Command of the Decepticons.
“LORD MEGATRON! I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS TO SHARE.” This “Good News” caught the warlord’s attention but he was very hesitant given Starscream’s track record of failures in hopes to usurp his throne, “This better be actual good news STARSCREAM or else.” He growled.
Starscream nervously chuckled but continued on anyway, “ALTHOUGH THE AUTOBOTS HAVE SEIZED THE IACON RELIC, WITH THE HELP OF SHOCKWAVE, WE HAVE MANAGE TO GET THE LOCATION OF THE DEVICE, THAT WILL BE ENOUGH TO WIN THIS WAR ONCE AND FOR ALL.” Starscream grins as he sends the coordinate to Soundwave and using his coding skills, he is able to unlock the data of a relic that causes Megatron to flinch and step back, “No… no it cannot be.” He whispered.
The relic Soundwave unlocked turned out to be an ancient artifact, Chimera Stone, once belonging to one of the Original 13 Primes, Micronus Prime. “Legend says that it has the power to give energy to best suit the needs of their allies.” “PRECISELY LORD MEGATRON AND WITH THIS POWER YOU CAN GIVE YOUR POWER TO MAKE YOUR ARMIES STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! THUS, THE AUTOBOTS WILL BOW BEFORE YOU AND TAKE CYBERTRON AS THEIR RIGHTFUL RULER.” It was now replaced with silence as Starscream’s call ended.
Megatron smiled as he maliciously chuckled, “For once Starscream, I owe you satisfactory. Soundwave, please find the location of this sacred artifact, we must keep it away from Autobots, ESPECIALLY Optimus Prime!” Soundwave continued decoding the coordinate until he managed to get location, Megatron stood next to Soundwave as it revealed the map with a red dot to the Chimera Stone. “There you are as you will soon be mine.”
Unbenounced to Megatron however, Arcee and Bumblebee were secretly watching as the location of the artifact was revealed “Optimus, this is urgent, Megatron has managed to locate the Chimera Stone despite you just getting the map from them.”
AutoBot Outpost Omega One, Jasper, Nevada-
Optimus Prime along with Bulkhead, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, and Ultra Magnus had just arrived back at base with the artifact containing the map they claimed from the Decepticons, as Ratchet using GroundBridge to get them to safety with their human allies Jack Darby, Miko Nakadai, Rafael Esquivel, Agent William Fowler and Jack’s mother June Darby communicating with Arcee and Bumblebee.
Ratchet after hearing what Arcee said was the first to speak. “This is very bad, if the Decepticons get their hands on the Chimera Stone, then, it will be catastrophic for all of us.”
Optimus replied back, “Precisely, as the relic was built by Solus Prime with her forge as a gift to Micronus, he used his energy to help her create the sacred relics of the 11 Primes that includes the Prima’s Star Saber. With the Forge of Solus Prime in Megatron’s possession, it’s important that we keep the Chimera Stone away from Decepticon hands. Arcee, Bumblebee, do you know the exact location of the relic?”
Bumblebee replied with beeping noises while Rafael used his computer as he managed to pinpoint the location found on the map Optimus gave him and translating Bee’s speech, “Bee says the coordinate is located on a small remote and uninhabited Island on the Pacific Northwest Coast.”
As Raf was able to project the map to the mainframe. Agent Fowler was the first to speak after that, “I don’t know if this can be the right time Prime, considering how uninhabitable the coastal areas of the United States are and don’t get me started with the amounts of dangerous storms and floods present in that area. It may be stormy right now as we speak, so it will unfortunately be difficult to GroundBridge there safely.”
Optimus thought about it through as the rest of Team Prime watched their leader think, then prime stopped thinking and looked back at his team, “We will think this through, Arcee and Bumblebee, keep a close watch to the Decepticons for a few more minutes while Ratchet prepares to GroundBridge you two. As far as we know, Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons don’t know that the island the relic is located is guarded by a great storm, so it will give us plenty of time to analyze the situation and once the storm cools down, we’ll make sure we get there immediately before they do.”
Back at the Nemesis-
Soundwave opened a GroundBridge that allowed Starscream and Shockwave to enter back upon the Nemesis, Starscream stretched while Shockwave just walked past him. The former felt more pride than ever before thanks to his contributions of finding the Map to the Chimera Stone before the Autobots did whereas Shockwave noticed the map Megatron is looking at and approached him.
“Lord Megatron, not to question your decisions but despite finding the location to the stone, I feel like it is illogical to head there immediately. Due to the island’s isolation and the amount of harsh weather conditions present, it can be potentially dangerous for you to enter as if the relic is surrounded by a barrier that forbids outsiders from entering.”
Megatron replied to Shockwave’s warnings, “I appreciate your concern Shockwave, but even with the amount of storms present, I must not wait as it will give the Autobots the advantage of achieving it first, thus I must get there before they do; Starscream!” Megatron shouted as Starscream entered the scene.
”Yes my lord.” Bowed Starscream who is now grinning with joy as he takes command of the Decepticons once more.
“You will take command of the Decepticons while I’m gone, I cannot let that relic be in Optimus’s possession, I’ll bring in a few troops to aid me on my quest but one more thing Starscream… DO NOT FAIL ME LIKE YOU DID THE LAST TIME I PLACED YOU WERE IN CHARGE!”
Starscream smiled and nodded “As you wish my lord”
Megatron huffed before making his way to the exit. while Arcee and Bumblebee watched Megatron leave before a GroundBridge opened for them and went through before he and the rest had noticed. Now outside of the ship with 8 vehicon seekers behind him, Megatron noticed the storm in the distance and the warlord looked at it with determination in his eyes.
“This time Prime, my Decepticons will win this war once and for all…”
Megatron transformed himself into a Cybteronian jet and blasted off followed by 8 of the Vehicon Seekers. Soundwave and Shockwave watched as Megatron’s group disappeared in the distance whereas Starscream let out a grin on his face knowing his master would soon meet his demise.
“Good luck… Lord Megatron.”
