Summary
The gaang are trying to find Aang a firebending teacher but it is hard when most are either in the firenation, or pretending not to be a firebender. They are on their way to Ba Sing Se in hopes to find an earthbender and a firebender. the latter is wishful thinking, but you never know. all katara knows is that they need to find one ASAP. Sozin's comet is fast approaching and Aang is far from ready.
Iroh and Zuko have separated from the fire nation and are on the run. Fire Lord Ozai believes the two to be dead, and they would like to keep it that way. While Iroh wants to settle down in the city of Ba Sing Se as a civilian running a tea shop, Zuko is still after the avatar and believes if he finds him and capture him, he can finally show to be a worthy Prince. As much as his uncle tries to steer him away from this endless chase, Zuko ignores him and refuses to settle down as a waiter in a tea shop. It is only when he nearly dies does he find himself in a completely different situation then he was before, and the next time he sees the gaang, he can't help but notice his longing to be one of them, and to be 'next' to one of them...
