    Tails is a child; no matter how intelligent he is, his body and mind quickly remind him of this. That childish impulse torments him when he thinks about the disadvantages Sonic faces in having a younger companion.

    It doesn't help that a natural instinct of fox cubs spreads within him, much less that it has formed a forced instinct as a response in Sonic.

    Faced with the clear problem, Tails doesn't hesitate to take notes on the advantages of his new project: a machine capable of tricking his body and DNA into growing.

     

    O: Tails thinks growing up is the best thing to do; unfortunately, the list of drawbacks outweighs the benefits.
