"Ok great!" Kon grinned wide and bright before something nervous caught in it and barely a moment later he smoothed it out again and flipped to the second page of his presentation and announced, "I think we should have a friends with benefits arrangement."
Regardless of whether or not he'd previously agreed to hearing Kon's proposal out, he could not have possibly stopped the knee jerk, "Absolutely not." From leaving his mouth.
"You promised!" Kon accused, pointing a finger at him, "You said you'd hear me out properly."

Or, Tim and Kon engage in the weirdest game of platonic gay chicken the world has ever seen.
(There’s no cliff hangers at the ends of chapters, so you can easily read it as is even though it’s currently a WIP)

Chapter two is a masterpiece 10/10 no negative feedbwck whatsoever
Creative writing (esp the pollan effects), great pacing, more than just a solid plot the connects together and make total sense, a nice sense of humor, perfect timkon dynamic/ship (especially cuz it can be taken from both ways (#qweerbait my beloved))
Tim is painfully relatanle and the building of kons backstory juicy and probably became a standard for me now, or at least a sticky headcanon
Felt more than loyal to the og characters personality and used headcanons that spiced and highlighted that more
I can keep glazing more but Imma go finish it now (ofc gonna follow the author)

THIS is how I want my timkon dynamic to be, the way they talk about hooking up in a casual way (for mission ofc wink wink) IS the bromance turned actual rance that I want. Author I could kiss you 💋
Edit 3: ok I'm prolly gonna keeps updating every two paragraphs but you can't blame me! Haven't felt this exited about a fic in a while (flexing over 500 fics this year alone from ao3 wrap) and this one is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Oh and this uptade was for THE GORE YUM YUM FEED ME THE ALL THE DETAILS ON HOW HE WAS SKINNED ALIFE AND TRAFFICED TO LALA LAND Honestly tho this was refreshing cuz of how little I see stuff like this mentioned especially since a superhero setting must face out of situations like this
Ye I'm in a babbling mood cuz Ive spend most of today analyzing my family members (call it love language) after missing my assignment deadline which I'm still pissed at myself for cutting for smth as pathetic as thar, Donno what I was thinking in the moment (why am I using this as a diary and venting? Donno don't care). Plus the society event after was lame, tho I did sneek some limited edition drinks from my he country that I can't find anywhere but somehow they did so incall it a win

Edit…6: yep this fic has single handedly ruined every other one I’ll ever read cuz this is perfection perfect-ionized. Everything I’ve ever wanted in a fictional gay couple, friends > bromance >(depends on the characters fwb) > romance
And it don’t make them awkward or loveydovey about it to the extent of cliche-ness, plus it explores it in an analytical way from both characters god i love the other. That kiss is more than just an idea now i can begEdit idk 7?: OUT the relatability hits again. Tim stop stealing words from my subconscious

P.S on another note I forgot to add earlier how I love the way they didn’t make Cassie’s leadership fade into the background cuz Robin around, she IS a great leader and she IS a great strategist, but that can easily be overlooked when you’re in a position that’s constantly compared to The Tim drake. So ye really happy they highlighted that, reminds me of the Red Robin Robin (my fav comic eva)
