Hi guys! Okay so, I messed up with this fic. I mentioned in the comments of the last chapter that I wanted to restart this series, and I’m going to bite the bullet and do that. For a couple of reasons
1. Since posting the last chapter, I’ve read 3 million words of charthur centric fics. Heh. So I had changed the way I view their dynamic a bit based on others interpretations.
2. Why the FUCK did I start this in chapter 4. What was I even doing 😭😭😭 like sure it’s my favorite chapter but. It just doesn’t fit with the storyline whatsoever
3. I feel like I can do way better. I love these two so much and I think I can do them more justice.
4. I want to include more in game missions. Not every one in detail because I hate reading those, but important ones.
5. I want to incorporate more ships too. Vandermatthews is present in this one. I want to dig into that a tad more, with how that works out with the leader of this infamous gang being a queer. And there’s also no way Micah fw the gays. I also think I want to include jovigail? Yall gotta tell me what you think about that because it’s such a fun ship, but at the same time I think it would change the story a lot, especially with beaver hollow. If we end up making that play out the same.
6. Unsure if I want Arthur to have TB. It changes Charthur’s dynamic a lot. But I’m convinced they’d move to Canada and have a lil cabin, otherwise a cabin on Beechers hope.
7. I need to address BATPM. It’s such a pivotal point in the story and I GREATLY dislike how rockstar handled it. There’s so much more trauma that comes with an incident like that, as well as the recovery process. Also, I’m CONVINCED Charles would go after his man.
All in all, I’ve thought a lot about this and how I fucked this fic up and I wanna do these boys right and have something i look forward to writing every day!
