Summary
Kim Hajin was a nobody. A failure, drifting along in the world, convinced of his inadequacy, sidelined and shuned by his peers. An existence that only found solace in the warm embrace of his parents, accepting him for who he was unconditionally, and his novel, that he wrote in an attempt to distract himself from his pathetic reality.
The protagonist, Kim Suho, was everything he aspired to be. Every ideal he tried, but failed to reach.
A person admired by all, but known to none.
An ideal and inspiration that Hajin weaved with his own hands, shed tears of joy and sorrow while creating.
But his story falls apart, much like every other aspect of his life, and Suho becomes, to Hajin, just a distant creation, a fire lit to symbolize a hope of change, until it was ultimately smothered by despair.Until an innocuous email sent by an unknown reader changes everything
