   Summary

   Soren felt like the air had been punched out of his lungs. He didn't know what to do. Part of him - most of him - wanted to tell her, okay. And then hold out his arms, and they'd hug, and he'd say goodbye, Clauds, like he'd done a thousand times before, only this time would maybe be the last time. At least for a long time.
