Work Text:
The tattoo shop’s bell chimes. The whole shop is filled with a light buzzing sound– it smells like expensive men’s cologne in here. As Chigiri approaches the front desk, a familiar face greets him. Alexis Ness, his best friend—alongside his old teammate, Reo, who he can still see lying face-down on the chair as his white-haired companion finishes up some big tattoo piece on his back.
“Finally coming in to get a tattoo?” Ness asks with a proud smirk, pulling Chigiri’s attention back in.
“No.” Chigiri responds with a sigh. “Reo said he needed to be picked up from his appointment after. Apparently his butler is on vacation.”
“Shame. We have a new artist starting today and I think he may be just your type.” Ness hums, crossing his arms and leaning back into the chair, swiveling it from side to side out of boredom.
“Last time you tried to set me up with someone here, they ended up being married with three kids,” Chigiri notes dully, “No thank you.”
“C’mon! I know this one’s single though!” Ness grins, “I promise you–” Chigiri deadpans and Ness grins even brighter. “Not even one tattoo? Even if I have my Micha do it?”
“Especially not him. He’s gonna purposefully put something crude somewhere hidden in my design.”
Ness snorts out a laugh, covering his mouth. “No way!” he says.
Michael, tattooing someone else just a few feet away from them, pops his head up and lifts his pen. “For Chigiri? I would,” he says, then continues his work.
“See?” Chigiri sighs.
Reo pipes up as well, turning his head. “Giriiii! You’re here already?” he calls.
Chigiri goes around the counter and walks towards Reo and Nagi. “Yup~ You said to be here around twelve, so I’m here.”
Nagi sighs. “ Reooo … stop moving or else it’s gonna take longer.” he scolds him quietly, pushing him back down with one hand before continuing.
“Sorry, sorry!” Reo grins, closing his eyes and staying still. Chigiri watches as Nagi works with expert precision, blinking down at the chameleon inspired tattoo. “How do you like it?”
“It’s cool….” Chigiri hums, blinking down. “How much longer ‘til you’re done?” he asks.
“Uhhh–” Reo smiles sheepishly.
“He’s behind.” Nagi responds, “About an hour, probably.”
Chigiri groans, “You’re lucky I don’t work today,” he mumbles, “Can I sit here?” he asks, pointing to the chair next to them.
“Go ahead,” Nagi mumbles, tongue sweeping across his bottom lip as he focuses on the ink engraving his boyfriend’s back. “It’s the new-hire’s. He probably won’t mind though. Seems chill.”
“Yeah, Lexi’s already trying to set me up with him,” Chigiri groans, sitting back and taking his phone out, scrolling through his instagram.
“You should do it, he’s seriously hot.” Reo says, “And super sweet.” he adds, “He’s a little dry at first but like– seriously he’s so fine– ah!”
Nagi pushes him to be still again, pouting. “Reo if you keep moving, one hour’s gonna become two.”
“Sorry~” Reo purrs happily, maybe a little too happy to be pushed down by his lover.
Chigiri rolls his eyes, “He’s probably already taken then.” he shrugs.
“That’s the thing– of course Lexi and I already asked because like– obviously he sounds like he’s perfect for you, he says he’s single. He wants to settle down but finding the right partner is hard.” Reo responds.
“Really?” Chigiri sighs, not sounding convinced, “So what? I start going out with him and we all are dating someone at the same shop? What if things get messy?”
Alexis walks up, leaning over the side of the chair. “You could only hope they get messy, otherwise what’s the point?” he asks.
“Gross. You and Kai are nasty– I don’t even want to know,” Chigiri shutters.
“What? Not interested in sex talk?” Reo asks.
Nagi looks back. “Sorry it’s taking so long,” he mumbles, sincere.
Chigiri hums, “not your fault, Nagi.” he sighs, “Anyways—hard to be interested when you’re not the one having it.” he admits, huffing.
“Well, that’s the whole point of setting you up with someone.” Alexis says, pinching his cheek.
Chigiri swats his hand away, and looks up as the bell chimes again. “Go do your job,” he groans, shoving him off.
Alexis laughs, looking towards the door and walking to his desk as the bell chimes. “Speak of the devil~”
“Morning,” Kunigami says as he passes Alexis. “Any clients this morning?”
“Your books are clear for now, Kuni. But! I do have a friend sitting in your seat. Not for a tattoo—he’s stubborn. He’s just waiting on Reo.” Alexis responds, looking over his shoulder.
“Gotcha.” he says, then his eyes land on Chigiri, sitting there like a damn goddess and scrolling through his phone.
“You must be the friend they keep telling me about.” Kunigami says, walking up to his chair, crossing his arms over his chest with a small smile. “Chigiri, right?”
Chigiri’s eyes meet his and… god dammit , he hates when his friends are right. “The one and only,” he responds, voice still flat, almost sounding annoyed. “You are?”
“Kunigami Rensuke.” he responds, holding his hand out.
Chigiri takes it—his hand—in his own, shaking it. Large, a little rough… warm. Motherfucker . “Pleasure to meet you.” he says, “Need me to move?”
“I don’t have any appointments, so long as no one walks in while you’re here. You’re all good.” Kunigami hums, looking over him.
“Perfect—I was starting to get comfy anyways.” Chigiri grins a little, leaning back again and propping his leg up on the edge of the seat. “You have a lot of tattoos?” he asks out of curiosity.
“Yeah. You wanna see?” he asks, tone coming out even. No cockiness.
Good, because Chigiri can’t stand cocky men.
Chigiri hums, “I’m a little curious, yeah. You’ve got a fairly innocent face so…”
“I do?” Kunigami asks with a small laugh, “Don’t get that one often,” he admits, shrugging off his leather jacket, exposing a good amount of his arms. His arms which are—by the way— covered in full sleeves of tattoos.
“Holy shit.” Chigiri mutters, looking over them, “How do you hide those when you go to the beach?”
“ Reallly good foundation,” Kunigami responds, “Or I just wear a wetsuit. Hides everything it needs to,” he shrugs.
Chigiri eyes his tattoos a little longer, admiring the fine artwork. “Who did them?” he asks.
“My mom did some of them, she’s retired now, but she was a tattoo artist my whole childhood.” he says, pointing out an absolutely gorgeous tattoo of a lion on his arm, “She did this one when I turned twenty,” he says.
“Gorgeous,” Chigiri says, “What about the rest of them?” he asks.
“Done by other various artists while I was still learning and apprenticing at my last shop,” he says, “and some from my travels abroad.” he finishes, looking over. “Alexis said you don’t care for getting one yourself, why not?” he asks.
Chigiri blinks blankly. “I don’t know,” he admits, looking up into honey-colored eyes. “I never really felt like there was anything in particular I wanted.”
Kunigami hums, shifting his weight and crossing his strong arms over his even stronger chest. “You’d look pretty with a shoulder piece,” he says, “Your build looks toned, but not overly muscular… so maybe even something on the lower half of your stomach– or around your hips.”
“I am fully clothed, right?” Chigiri asks, deadpanning. “How are you gathering all of that?”
“No offense– not by a long shot. You look perfect,” Kunigami exhales, like he’s just realized maybe he was staring too long. “It’s mainly in your arms, but also you’re fairly petite. Even with clothes on, you can tell your general build.”
“God,” Reo groans from beside them, “Nagi, are you hearing all this?” he asks.
“Mh.” Nagi hums, “Sounds like they’re making good conversation.”
Reo shifts and Nagi makes a frustrated sound. “You know that’s not what I mean!” he huffs, “Kunigami is basically undressing him with his eyes— verbally! ”
Chigiri glares over, “Mind your own business Reo. If you set your boyfriend back much longer I’m gonna leave you here like I should have thirty minutes ago.”
Kunigami laughs a little, observing as Nagi mutters something into Reo’s ear only for him to suddenly melt.
“Well,” the orange-haired man clears his throat awkwardly. “If you ever want one and I don’t have something lined up, I have an open chair policy for friends.”
Chigiri looks back up at him, parting his lips to speak.
“Don’t count on it,” Reo grumbles, “I’ve been trying to convince him for years.”
“Shut up!” Chigiri huffs at him– and he’d smack him if he wasn’t positive that Nagi’s anger would be whipped towards him.
“My offer still stands.” he says, “if you ever change your mind, you’ll know where I’m at.”
The two of them stare at each other for a second, Chigiri opening his mouth to speak again before once more being interrupted, this time by his other dear friend.
“Kuni!” Alexis calls from the stand, “We got a walk-in!” he says.
Kunigami looks down at Chigiri, “Seems like it’s time,” he chuckles. “Sorry, gotta kick you off so I can sanitize and take this client.”
“Right,” Chigiri nods, sliding off of the seat and standing. He’s mere inches from Kunigami, suddenly realizing how tall the man actually is.
They both just stare for a moment until Kunigami awkwardly steps aside. “Sorry– go ahead,” he says.
“Right,” Chigiri nods again , awkward and stiff, trying to will away the pink rising to the tips of his ears, “Alright, I’ll uhhh…”
“Why not hang out in the break room?” Kunigami asks. “Reo’s probably gonna be a while and it’s more comfortable than waiting out here.”
“Right– yeah… but I don’t work here.”
“Go ahead Giri, you might as well with how often Reo drags you along.” Kaiser responds, “None of us mind anyways.”
“O-kayy..” Chigiri says, quickly walking away, just relieved to be out of there.
Seriously! What the fuck just happened? Kunigami is hot and nice and was clearly showing some interest in him in some way? Right? Right??? Were his friends actually right about someone? Insane work—never before heard of in the history of the ChigiReoNess group.
Weeks have passed since Chigiri last visited the tattoo shop, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t interested in Kunigami. Alexis had made a shop group chat– for some reason, including both him and Reo. Apparently they were “essential” to the business. He could get Reo, but he still didn’t really understand why he was there.
Well, since he was added in, there’d been quite a good few philosophical talks. And by philosophical he really means completely inappropriate.
Michael : Who do you think would look best with a womb tattoo?
Reo: Out of all of us??
Ness: Welll… I already have one soz…
Nagi : Yeah, I remember doing that one.
Kai: Still can’t believe it wasn’t me TvT great surprise BUT
Kunigami: ??? In the group chat?
Reo: I think I may know the answer~
Chigiri: Yourself ?
Reo: Guess again :3
Chigiri: Huh. Perchance.
Nagi: you can’t just say perchance.
Reo: NO WAY. YOU JUST SAID MAYBE !!
Ness: Okay. Where is my Giri and what have you done with him?
Reo: I wonder who would do it hmmm…
Nagi: I’m all booked through October.
Reo: dw my handsome, successful, sexy boyfriend, I was thinking someone else!
Chigiri: ew? Please keep that to your personal texts.
Kunigami: my books are open.
Reo: Wow! What a coincidence!
Chigiri: I didn’t say yes yet.
Ness : but you DID say maybe!!
Chigiri: I hate all of you.
Kunigami: Wow, even me?
Chigiri: 😶
The streets are a little colder now, crisp autumn air flying between Chigiri and Reo as they walk through the streets of Osaka, leaves turning vibrant red and slowly falling from their branches. It’s a gorgeous view, really. Hence why Reo suggested they go take a walk out there in the first place. Plus, both their socials were basically begging for new photos.
Unfortunately, half way through their walk, Reo had brought up the tattoo conversation from their group chat a few days ago… again .
“C’mon Giri!” Reo smiles, “Think about it, remember what he said when you were sitting in his chair?”
Chigiri groans, deadpanning. “Yeah, I do– what does that have to do with—”
“I remember you getting pretty red when he mentioned you looking good with a tattoo on your lower stomach. Plus, you didn't hate the idea of a womb tattoo, obviously.” Chigiri doesn’t respond, so Reo continues, “And—by god, Kunigami is so hot . He’s strong, he’s big—probably in other areas we’ve yet to see, and! OW!” he huffs as Chigiri smacks his arm with cheeks as bright as his hair.
“Knock it off!’ Chigiri groans, stepping in front of Reo and stopping to face him, arms crossed over his chest. “Can’t we please just have a normal outing without mentioning our dating lives? My god.”
“Of course we can!” Reo says, biting his bottom lip, “ but … I really want to see you happy with someone Giri…” he pouts, “Kunigami seriously seems like a great guy and… you know, maybe that tattoo will help you two get closer. We could always ask him to do it after normal shop hours so that you two can be left alone.”
Chigiri sighs, “It’s not like I’m not interested, Reo.” he responds, voice softening, “but what if things don’t work out? What if we just don’t mix well in a relationship and I’m stuck with a womb tattoo forever and have to live every day knowing it was an ex that did it?”
Reo hums thoughtfully, “I don't think things will end badly between the two of you. Call it my intuition, bestie. I really think he might be the one for you.”
“... I’ll think more about it,” Chigiri says. “I mean… it probably would look good. You wouldn’t be able to see it unless I was either naked or wearing something that sits way lower than what I usually wear anyways.”
Reo nods, “Plus, have you seen Lexi’s? His looks so good.” Reo waves his hands about, always the hand talker. “ And from what he told me, it did help spice things up between him and Kai.”
“When are things not spiced up between them,” Chigiri deadpans. “I love Lexi, but god. You were already a handful with your sex talk. He and Kai are on a whole other level of gross.”
‘Still~ don’t you think it would be fun?” Reo hums, “I bet Kuni would barely last five minutes before he gives into temptation.”
Chigiri makes a face before looking away. “Ew. C’mon, he doesn’t seem like he’s like that,” he responds, crossing his arms. “He seems like much more of a gentleman.”
“You’re right.” Reo smirks, “He’d finish your tattoo, buy you a nice dinner, and then make sweet, sweet love to you~”
“Reo. Please stop talking before I find a way to make you stop talking.”
Reo laughs, finally brushing past Chigiri and continuing their walk. “Okay, okay!” he says, “You know, though, I think we should have a game night soon.”
“If you’re going to suggest something stupid, I swear. We’re not high-schoolers anymore, Reo. We are fully grown men. Spin the bottle is not an option.”
“I was thinking more like monopoly and uno with drinks,” Reo smirks, “I think that would heat things up a little.”
“You actually make me mad when we play monopoly.” Chigiri sighs, “But since it’s a normal game, I’ll let it slide.”
Reo laughs, taking Chigiri’s arm in his own. “Well, that’s just because I always win.”
Chigiri rolls his eyes, but a soft smile plays on his lips. “Yeah, whatever. I wish Lexi was here to back me up. He’d be calling you a spoiled trust fund kid right now,” he snorts.
“Like he isn’t technically one himself,” Reo grins, “Anyways, as long as Kunigami doesn’t have any plans, maybe we could all do it after the shop closes tonight.”
“We could always drop in with some takeout to sweeten the deal.” Chigiri responds, tilting his head.
“You’re so right!” Reo pulls his phone out, “Hold on—there’s a photo Kuni sent of his food the other day and I think—”
“Miyazaki’s.” Chigiri responds instantly, “It’s like a block from the shop.”
Reo smirks, “Oh? Did you memorize what his order was too?”
Chigiri goes bright red, “I just have a good memory,” he huffs, “But yeah– sort of. It looked like some sort of curry dish with rice.”
Reo blinks twice. “You do want him bad.”
“Shut up,” Chigiri says, “I mean—I… he’s interesting. He’s actually…” he doesn’t finish his sentence, instead biting the inside of his cheek.
“Mhmmm, that’s why you keep visiting the shop and hanging out in his chair~”
“He lets me.” Chigiri flushes bright red.
“Yeah, cause he wants you.” Reo responds, groaning as his phone starts buzzing.
He reaches into his pocket, fishing it out and looking at the incoming call screen.
“Babe?” Reo answers the phone, “Aren’t you in the middle of an appointment?”
“Mh. Taking a break.” he says, “You’re with Chigiri, right?”
“Yeah?” Reo asks, looking over at Chigiri, who mouths a ‘what?’ at him knowingly, like he’s about to be signed up for something.
“Kunigami is sick. He had to cancel a client because he almost passed out after coming in. Lexi said to send him home, but… he can’t ride his bike like this, so…”
“You were hoping Chigiri and I could come pick him up and take him home?”
“Yeah.” Nagi responds plainly. “You can stay here if you want… I’m sure you’d be meddling in their relationship.”
“I think you’re the one meddling—talking like that. Leaving them alone and all,” Reo whispers with a proud smile.
“Mh.” Nagi mutters, “Maybe you’re rubbing off on me.”
“I’d gladly rub you off.” Reo responds teasingly, earning a small sigh on the other line.
Chigiri covers his ears, groaning in annoyance as he listens to Reo talk for a few more moments before hanging up the phone and sighing.
“We gotta get back to the car. Kuni needs our help.”
Chigiri looks up. “What?”
“Well, he got sick and nearly passed out and Alexis said to send him home, but he can’t just ride his bike home when he could pass out.”
Chigiri nods, “I don’t mind getting him home,” he says, frowning, “I just hope he isn’t too sick..” he sighs. “We’ll have to scratch our plans for tonight. Though, we can still bring food. Maybe something lighter would be better.”
“Agreed.” Reo sighs before pausing, lips curling up into a smirk, “You knowww…” Reo starts, “he could be sick for a few days. Maybe you can see if he’ll let you help. After all, I know your cooking always helps me get better faster~”
“Don’t go meddling. If he asks, he asks. Otherwise, I’m not gonna request to barge into his life and treat him like a baby.” Chigiri says, looking away. “Anyways just—let's hurry.”
Once they walk into the shop, Alexis gets up and takes Chigiri’s hand. “Please take this as an opportunity to show your wife material off,” he whispers, looking down at the bag in his hand. “Did you—”
“I bought some soup on the way here. I figured it’d help.” Chigiri answers. “Where is he at?”
Alexis smiles, squeezing Chigiri’s hand before dropping it. “In the break room. Go get ‘em, Giri~”
Chigiri sighs before walking past him and towards the break room.
Reo leans against the counter with a small smile, “He’s fine though, right?” he asks, “No major mishaps?”
“Nope, he’d just finished putting a stencil onto his client before he started feeling it. Excused himself and started towards the back before Nagi saw him.” Alexis says. “You think they’ll be good?”
“I think they’ll be perfectly fine,” Reo responds, “Chigiri’s interested in him, obviously. Kunigami’s fairly quiet, but I can see it in his eyes.”
Michael walks up with his finished client. “Baby, can you get him all finished up?” he asks Alexis, throwing an arm around his waist.
“Yup~” Alexis grins, leaning up and pecking Michael’s cheek.
“You two are still meddling with them, aren’t you?” Michael laughs, “Surprised Chigiri hasn’t kicked your asses yet.”
Reo smirks, “That’s because we were right on the money this time. Chigiri actually really likes him,”
Michael snorts, “Yeah, obviously.” he responds, “ You know. Those two were practically made for each other.” he starts in, “Kunigami was talking to me about his rescue animals the other day and Chigiri is constantly talking about his poor street cats that he feeds every morning.”
Alexis finishes up with the client and turns, “Kuni has rescue animals?” he asks, “Man, he really is too good.” he sighs, “Like— seriously, it’s almost unrealistic.”
“What? You want him to be our third or something?” Michael jokes.
Alexis shakes his head. “He’s all Giri’s.” he snorts, grinning bright and pinching his lover’s side.
Reo sighs and looks back. “They’re taking a while in there.”
“Yeah, let me go check on them.” Alexis says, getting up from his seat. “Reo, watch the front~”
“Gotcha~” Reo says, taking a seat and looking back to watch Nagi continue on his client.
“Chigiri?” Kunigami croaks out, lifting his head from where it was resting on the table.
Chigiri walks in, bag in hand and smiles gently. “Wow, you really do look like crap.” he says before sitting down next to him.
“Mhm, thanks, princess .” he mutters, quiet and tired sounding.
“Of course.” Chigiri teases, taking a plastic container out of the bag he’d set down. “Anyways, I brought soup. I’m not sure what kind of sick you are, but I heard you weren’t feeling well, so…” he trails off.
Kunigami looks up properly this time, “You got me soup?” he asks, blinking slowly.
“Mhm,” Chigiri smiles and scoots closer, taking out the spoon and setting it on top of the container. “Can you sit up?” he asks.
Kunigami nods, “Yeah. I just feel like jelly. Everything feels weak.” he sighs.
“My, how the hero falls with a little cold.” Chigiri hums somewhat fondly, “Thankfully, you have a strong princess here to save you~” he says watching as Kunigami sits up.
He opens the plastic container and sinks the spoon into it slowly, collecting a little pool of broth in it as well as a cube of tofu and some seaweed. He blows on it carefully before bringing it to Kunigami’s lips.
Kunigami doesn’t fight it, parting his lips and accepting the mouthful of fragrant, miso-seaweed goodness. He melts a little, swallowing it down and letting his shoulders fall from their stiffness. “Where’d you get this from?” he asks quietly.
“Some local shop. Don’t remember the name.” Chigiri reaches up, gently brushing Kunigami’s hair from his face and pressing the back of his hand to his forehead. “You’re burning up,” he sighs, frowning.
“Yeah,” Kunigami sighs, “I feel like shit.”
Chigiri’s hand falls, gently brushing against Kunigami’s cheek before dropping back onto the table. “Alexis said to drive you back home. How about we finish this back up and I take you there?” he asks.
Kunigami nods. “Yeah, that'd be nice…” he mumbles tiredly. “I don’t wanna just leave my bike here though.”
“Could we uh… well—I— put it in my trunk?” he asks, “I could lay the back seats down and it would probably fit.”
“It’d be too hard to lift up. You’d probably hurt yourself.” Kunigami says.
“You calling me weak?” Chigiri teases.
“Never,” Kunigami hums, “But those bikes are well over five hundred pounds. I would struggle to lift it even if I wasn’t sick. And I can deadlift over four hundred.”
Chigiri does not want to talk about the way that information is immediately ticketed into another spot of his mind. “Way to brag,” he jokes, getting another spoonful of broth before lifting it to Kunigami’s lips. “I’ll drive you home after we get you to eat, then. We’ll figure out how to get your bike there later.”
Alexis walks into the room, a soft smile painting his lips. “You feeling any better?” he asks Kunigami.
Chigiri’s shoulders stiffen a little this time as Kunigami takes the spoonful with a nod, swallowing down more of the broth.
“I got good company now, ‘course I’m feeling better.” He attempts a small smile, the corners of his lips not quite curling up the way they normally do.
“I see~ the rest of us don’t compare to Chigiri, hm?” he asks. Kunigami’s ears burn red, but that thankfully goes unnoticed.
“Stop teasing him, he’s not feeling good.” Chigiri frowns, acting as though he hasn’t been doing the same thing since he walked in.
Kunigami laughs a little, “Well, considering he understands how torturous being single is in this place,” he jokes quietly.
“You could always change tha—”
“Lexi!” Chigiri hisses, almost dropping the spoon as he whips his head around.
Kunigami doesn’t respond, only hums thoughtfully.
“I changed my mind,” Chigiri sighs. “Let’s pack up and I’ll drive you home now.” he says.
“C’mon~ he needs to eat,” Alexis smiles.
Chigiri glares over. “And he will,” he says. “You okay with heading out now?”
“Perfectly fine. I’m feeling kind of tired anyways.” Kunigami says, pushing up from his chair.
Chigiri joins him, “Anything you need me to grab?”
“My backpack is behind my table out on the floor.” he says, “That’s all I can think of.”
“I’ll grab it,” Chigiri hums, “Need me to hold you up?”
“Can I just lean on you a little?” Kunigami asks.
Chigiri nods, smiling a little and pulling Kunigami’s arm over his shoulder. “I got you big guy.” he hums.
Alexis watches, a little too giddy to see them pressed so close.
“Drive safe, Giri! Please return our artist in one piece.”
“I’m always careful,” he responds as he walks Kunigami out with him, stopping by his station to grab his backpack.
Reo gives him a look as he passes him and Chigiri—lovingly—raises his middle finger at him.
Once they’re both settled in the car, Kunigami grumbles an apology.
“Sorry they pulled you into this… and thank you.” he mutters.
Chigiri shakes his head. “It’s not a problem, really. I don’t mind helping you out. Especially in a circumstance like this.”
“You’re really sweet, you know?” Kunigami hums, “You’re a good guy, genuinely. I get why they speak such high praises of you.”
Chigiri’s eyes widen, a blush rising to his cheeks. “Mh. You too, hero.” he sighs. “Okay—so, what's your address?” he asks, trying to change the subject to avoid getting more flustered.
Kunigami makes a soft grunt as he sits up a little more, giving Chigiri his address while he types it into his phone.
“Perfect, should be all set.” Chigiri says softly, pulling away from the tattoo shop and glancing over. “You really don’t seem well at all… will you be okay at home alone?”
“I have my dog and cat,” he mutters, “I’m not technically alone.”
“Mh, right. A dog and cat are going to phone a friend if you’re passing out.” Chigiri smiles a little, Kunigami almost laughs, closing his eyes.
“Maybe, they’re pretty smart.”
“I’m sure they are.” Chigiri hums, looking ahead. “If you… well, if you need anything though, I don't have work this weekend so, I wouldn’t mind staying or visiting a few times until you get better..”
“You would do that?” Kunigami asks, looking over at him, brows furrowed a little.
Chigiri’s cheeks tint pink again. “Well, we’re friends now, aren’t we? Of course I would…”
Kunigami just stares for a moment, and Chigiri bites his lip.
“You know, I was thinking about your offer…”
“Mh?” Kunigami blinks back into focus.
“About doing that tattoo for me. Like we were talking about in the group chat…” Chigiri whispers. “I think Reo might finally have me convinced.”
Kunigami looks over him, “You’d want me to do it?” he asks.
“Once you’re feeling better, yeah.” Chigiri keeps his eyes ahead. “I kind of uh… stalked your instagram to see the photos you post of your tattoo work..” he admits, “Your work is amazing, so—”
“I better get un-sick fast,” Kunigami mumbles, “So you don’t chicken out.” he teases, staring again.
“Mhm, that’s right.” Chigiri whispers.
“You can stay then, if you want… to help me feel better, I mean.”
“Good, that’ll speed things along.” Chigiri says softly, his heart fluttering a little. “I’ll probably have you all healed up before the weekend is over.”
“Maybe you’re more of an angel than a princess.” Kunigami hums thoughtfully, pressing his lips together.
Chigiri laughs, “Yeah, sure.” he says, pulling up at Kunigami’s home and throwing his hair up into a ponytail before he grabs their bags from the backseat and moves around to the other side of the car, opening the door. “Let’s get you inside.”
Kunigami leans into Chigiri again, his arms circling his waist as he almost tips forward, Chigiri stumbling back a little before the two of them steady themselves, looking into each other’s eyes, pressed close.
Were it not for the fact Kunigami was clearly ill, Chigiri would certainly be begging for a kiss. Yet, he brushes the thought away entirely before carefully shifting himself under Kunigami’s arm again, locking his car before guiding him to the front door.
Kunigami fishes his keys from his pocket and sighs, fumbling with them until he presses the right one in and turns the lock.
Immediately, there’s a dog barking excitedly and jumping up onto the two of them. A gorgeous akita, a little larger than the dog that Chigiri had originally imagined.
“Cookie,” Kunigami groans, “Not now, cutie.” he grumbles.
Chigiri smiles, “Cookie?” he asks.
“Mh, I was hungry when I named her.” Kunigami mutters. “My bedroom is through the hall to the left… I could probably get there myse-”
“Nope~ I got you, right?” Chigiri hums, maybe enjoying playing such a dependant role a little too much.
Kunigami hums, “You’re too good,” he sighs, letting Chigiri lead him off nonetheless.
Surprisingly, Kunigami’s home is really well-kept. Not that he didn’t give off the organized vibe. Just that… Chigiri had been to enough men’s homes during the time he’d been semi-regularly hooking up with people and… yeah. They were almost never this clean.
Once they’re inside the bedroom, Chigiri sets him down and pushes his hair back again. “Will you be okay if I go to the store to grab some medicine for you?”
“Yeah, I’m probably just gonna sleep so…” he says quietly, already closing his eyes.
“Okay,” Chigiri whispers, fond, soft. “I’ll grab you some jellies too, and some ingredients to make dinner with so…”
Kunigami nods, reaching out when Chigiri turns, gently grabbing his wrist.
“Thank you, ‘Giri.” he whispers, “For driving me home… and for taking care of me.”
“No worries,” Chigiri smiles, “I’m happy to help.”
Kunigami hums, letting go and laying back down, letting Chigiri walk away.
Chigiri can’t say he’s not a little nervous about all of this. He thinks about the risks and rewards of this whole thing as he’s shopping, filling his cart with his usual remedy-based recipe ingredients and sighing.
Kunigami is nice, so fucking nice and handsome and completely and utterly perfect. It’s becoming an issue, really. Even when he’s sick, he’s not overly whiny or complaining— he even thanked Chigiri for his basic human kindness. Sure, the bar is in hell, but Kunigami is still so far above it.
Chigiri only finds himself falling harder every time they speak. It probably doesn’t help that Kunigami is just as attractive on the outside as he is on the inside. Strong and big… could easily carry him off into the sunset or to bed… and he has those gorgeous honey-like eyes— rich amber, even.
Maybe Chigiri really is as whipped as Reo claims him to be, but what can he do? He has not seen a single unlikeable trait from Kunigami yet. Not a single one!
Chigiri thinks it through as he heads to the checkout, cart almost filled to the brim. He didn’t even check—he hopes Kunigami has enough space in his fridge for everything. If not, he’ll really have to play tetris.
His phone buzzes, just once. He quickly takes it out to look at it.
Thank god, not a troubled Kunigami, just Reo.
Reo: I’ll take it you’re staying over?
Chigiri: Don’t make it weird. He said I was welcome to—so he technically asked.
Chigiri: What am I supposed to do? Leave him alone?
Chigiri: He tried to say his dog would call for help, he’s clearly in need of someone.
Reo: Ohh… so like… you going to sleep on the couch or in the same bed so you can make sure he’s still breathing at night?
Chigiri: -_-
Chigiri: I hope Nagi checks that YOU’RE still breathing tonight.
Reo: Scary!! Ok ok! I’ll leave you to uhh..
Chigiri: Shopping. I needed ingredients.
Reo: :3 so he’s about to eat GOOD.
Chigiri: Yeah yeah. Go bother your boyfriend, you gremlin.
Reo: I mean, yeah I was going to anyways :P Byyyeee Giri!!
Chigiri puts his phone away with a small smile. Despite all his bitching and whining, he really does love his friends so dearly.
The kitchen is filled with the light fragrance of ginger as Kunigami wanders out towards it. He’d almost forgotten he’d invited Chigiri to stay—and that Chigiri had agreed. It smelled heavenly though, and admittedly, Chigiri looked absolutely stunning, as always, dressed in a pair of sweats and a loose shirt.
He lets himself stare a little longer, taking in the soft humming of a song he doesn’t recognize, the way Chigiri seems so elegant, even when he’s wielding a kitchen knife like a pro and chopping an onion to bits.
Sure, he’d likely never voice it out loud for the sake of not getting his feelings hurt, but he’d marry that man right now if he could.
Finally, he pushes off of the wall, albeit a bit wobbly still. “It smells amazing in here,” he whispers, voice a little raspier from having just woken up.
Chigiri squeaks, turning around and facing him, so close he could feel that warmth radiating off of him. “How are you feeling?”
“Less weak now that I’ve gotten some rest.” he admits, “Sorry for causing you so much trouble.” Kunigami
“It’s nothing,” Chigiri says softly. “Let me check your temperature again,” he whispers, and Kunigami tilts his head down a little.
Soft hands meet Kunigami’s forehead. Part of him wishes those gentle hands would never stop touching him, a very touchy and selfish part of him.
“How do I feel?” he asks.
Chigiri hums, “Still burning up,” he whispers, moving his hands to cup his cheeks, “Your cheeks are warm too… you don’t feel as weak anymore, though?”
Kunigami shakes his head, “Not really.”
“Mh…” Chigiri hums, studying him, staring . “Not nauseous?”
“Nope. I rarely have issues with my stomach when I’m sick.” Kunigami mumbles, his hands itching to reach out and touch—hold, feel more of the other’s soothing warmth.
“Okay,” Chigiri responds, making a small sound in the back of his throat, like he was thinking about something, “Then, I’ll use more of my ingredients that have higher vitamins and whatnot.” He says finally, looking proud.
Kunigami stares down at him. “You’re pretty knowledgeable, hm?”
“My mom always taught me how to make proper meals for when I’m sick. I studied abroad in Europe for a while and she figured I could use the experience with cooking for myself.” Chigiri explains, dropping his hands.
Kunigami watches the way his expression softens. Beautiful. Almost dizzyingly so.
For a second, Kunigami’s vision spins. He blinks it away and watches as Chigiri narrows his eyes at him.
Nope, the dizziness is not just a figment of his imagination based on looking at the beautiful man in front of him.
He stumbles forward, accidentally pushing the man in front of him into a space between himself and the countertop—his arms caging them in as he tries to catch himself.
“K-Kuni?” Chigiri stutters, surprised—his face the same color as his hair.
“Sorry,” Kunigami closes his eyes, brows knit together, “Just a little dizzy…” he whispers, clutching at the countertop.
Chigiri lets out a shaky exhale and turns in his hold, reaching for a small slice of ginger. “Chew on this.” he says as he turns back towards him.
Kunigami opens his eyes and Chigiri brings it to his mouth.
His lips brush against the redhead’s fingers as he takes it from them. Something flickers in those ruby-like eyes, and Kunigami almost swears it is less than innocent.
It’s spicy. In fact, Kunigami often avoids ginger altogether. It’s not exactly his favorite thing, but if it’s Chigiri handing it to him while looking like that, he’ll gladly take it and find a way to enjoy it.
Neither of them move for a minute. Chigiri seems happy to stay right where he is, watching—like he’s reading Kunigami. Kunigami doesn’t care to move either, partially due to the dizziness, which thankfully is subsiding thanks to Chigiri’s suggestion, and partially because he could stand here forever with this little distance between the two of them.
Alas, Kunigami’s cat, Alatus starts rubbing up against Chigiri and immediately, he’s chopped liver.
“Oh my gosh!” Chigiri squeaks, ducking under Kunigami’s arms and picking up the kitty. “Aren’t you so precious, what’s your name?”
“...What just happened?” Kunigami mumbles under his breath. He would be disappointed if he didn’t come to think about the fact that his antisocial cat who has hated every single person that he’s dated regardless of gender was indeed currently purring in Chigiri’s arms and surprisingly not scratching the everloving shit out of him.
His dog loved anyone that even glanced at him, no judgement of character. So, regardless, his dog loving Chigiri was going to be a given. But his cat?
“His name is Alatus.” Kunigami smiles. “I found him on the streets as a kitten and took him in.”
“Oh my, what a lucky little baby,” Chigiri smiles, gently scratching under his chin.
Alatus purrs louder in response, tilting his head up like royalty, cozying himself in Chigiri’s arms.
“Usually he doesn’t like guests. You must be special.” Kunigami says, moving to sit on one of the stools around his small kitchen island, legs hanging loosely above the ground.
Chigiri hums happily, “Well, I don’t get called a cat whisperer for no reason,” he laughs softly, “I feed the strays in my neighborhood a lot… I can’t take them all in, obviously. So I do what I can.” he looks up, their eyes meeting.
Kunigami’s gaze has softened significantly, his heart skipping a beat. Chigiri is perfect. Perfect. Actually concerningly perfect.
“You’re beautiful,” he breathes out, and Chigiri flushes, “A-A beautiful person… you’re just…”
They stare at each other for a moment, just staring. The silence stretches on almost uncomfortably.
Thank god he has an excuse to shut up when the cat leaps out of Chigiri’s arm and trots away—the doorbell ringing.
Kunigami moves to get up, but Chigiri carefully places a hand on his shoulder, “I’ll grab it for you.” He nods, settling back in.
“Giri!” he can hear Reo’s voice back there, bright and cheerful. “I know he’s sick but I thought… well….”
“We are not having a party right now!” He hears Chigiri hiss and he almost laughs.
So much for following rules, he stands slowly and makes his way towards the front door. “Reo? Ah.. and everyone else.”
Chigiri looks over his shoulder, feeling Kunigami’s body pressed almost right against his back.
“How are you feeling?” Alexis asks, smiling.
“Better, thanks to Chigiri.” he says softly, his hand sliding onto the other’s waist far too naturally. If anyone sees it, they don’t say anything.
“Think you’d be up to some board games? I know Giri can be boring on his own, soooo….”
“Excuse you!” Chigiri barks in annoyance as Reo pushes his way past him, holding up his box of Monopoly.
Kunigami dips down a little. “He’s been great company, really.”
Chigiri deadpans, “He’s just here to meddle.” he huffs.
“Sorry, I tried to tell them no…” Nagi mumbles.
“It’s fine. Come on in,” Kunigami says, pulling Chigiri back with him and looking down.
Truth be told, he wasn’t sure if he could be trusted alone with Chigiri—in the sense of he was surely going to spill the beans about his affections and probably scare the other off.
Chigiri looks back at him, and Kunigami shrugs. “What’s four more?” he teases.
“Pushover,” Chigiri huffs, pulling out of his grip carefully and heading towards the kitchen.
Kunigami watches as he does, already missing the feeling of holding him like that, even if there was only a short moment of him doing so.
He goes into the living room, taking a seat and watching as Reo set up the board.
The weekend flies by, Kunigami thankfully feeling good enough to be left alone by Saturday. Chigiri was almost glad it was over. Not because he wanted to get away from Kunigami. Hell, he’d live there forever if he could, but mainly because if he hadn’t gotten out of there when he did, he was sure that he would have jumped on him—probably kissed him, probably touched, if Kunigami wanted that, probably would have made an utter embarrassment of himself.
It was almost three days worth of psychological and emotional torture, having Kunigami walk out without a shirt in the mornings, strong tattooed arms on display along with his toned abs, his big shoulders… that damn handsome face, teasingly asking to be fed again.
Chigiri probably could have just up and left, avoided the butterflies altogether, but he couldn’t help it. He loves taking care of people, and obviously Kunigami was amazing to be around… plus of course the fact he knows full well now that he’d very much get along with Kunigami in a living situation—or relationship.
Dangerous, even more dangerous because in the morning before he’d left, they’d discussed Monday night—the current date now— being the date for Chigiri’s tattoo appointment. They talked about the design and what colors Chigiri would want to use—he’d picked red, of course. Kunigami even mocked up a stencil so they could discuss the size of it.
“Let’s do it at night,” Chigiri said, “I mean, after hours? I’m likely going to just have to be wearing underwear and I…”
“Don’t want anyone else seeing you like that?” Kunigami asked, “No problem. After hours it is. I’m sure everyone else will be fine so long as we close up properly.”
Chigiri nodded, and that was that. The date was set.
Now though, Chigiri is approaching the shop at sundown with shaky hands. It would be just the two of them. Kunigami isn’t sick anymore. Chigiri is going to be in nothing but his underwear and Kunigami is going to have his hands all over his lower stomach working on this tattoo.
Fuck , he’s screwed.
He braces himself, opening the door and spotting Alexis there at the front desk putting his stuff away.
Alexis looks up, a knowing smirk on his lips. “Kuni’s setting up for you,” he says.
“I know,” Chigiri groans, “Is it too late to back out—”
“Absolutely.” Alexis snorts, “Come on, mine didn’t hurt.”
“I’m not worried about pain!” Chigiri whisper shouts, “I’m worried about getting soaked and being found out mid session!”
Alexis snorts out a laugh and covers his mouth, “You cannot be serious-” he says, “When Nagi did mine, I was dry as a construction worker’s hands.”
“You aren’t attracted to Nagi, asshat!” Chigiri groans, holding his shoulders, “I was tortured with his abs for three days and I am still not fully over that, so having him touching me? I can’t—”
“Oh come on,” Alexis smiles, “You know, he’d probably like it anyways.”
“No way– you’re delusional.” Chigiri groans, fingers tangled into his hair, tugging like a man gone manic.
“You’re dense if you think that man doesn’t want you just as bad as you want him.” Magenta eyes scan him before glancing back, “You know, he’s been talking about this all day. Wanna guess why?” no answer, Alexis sighs and grabs Chigiri by his shoulders. “Because he’s probably been thinking about how he’s gonna have to hold himself together having you on his table in just your undies while he’s gonna have to touch you and keep his hands entirely pure.”
Chigiri is entirely red. “That’s not— that’s…”
“It’s entirely true.” Alexis says, looking back while Michael comes out from the back with Kunigami.
Alexis drops his hands and hums, “think about it, Giri…” he whispers, “What man lets an almost stranger stay with them for three days without having some sort of interest in them?”
Chigiri gapes like a fish, trying to respond, but Michael is already right up next to them and Kunigami is back at his station, finishing his set up.
“Alright, he knows all the closing protocols now,” Michael says, “Ready to head out baby?” he asks, smirking towards Chigiri as he pulls his arm around his lover.
“Yup~” Alexis grins. “You two have fun here! If you need anything, call us!” he says, tugging Michael outside with him before he could strike up one of his signature “ piss off Chigiri ” conversations.
Chigiri stays standing still in the lobby, awkwardly playing with his hair, pretending to check for split ends.
Kunigami just stares for a beat before clearing his throat. “Mind locking that door real quick?” he asks.
No “ hey ” or “ good to see you ”
Maybe he’s just as nervous as he is. Maybe Alexis is right and this is nerve-wracking for both of them, both of them are scared to mess this up.
It’s not like there weren’t tense moments between them when Chigiri was staying there. Of course, there’d been the dizziness incident where Chigiri was trapped between him and the counter… but there was also the time when Kunigami had wrapped his strong arms around his waist while he was cooking, claiming to be dizzy again and needing to hold onto something. He’d told him to find something else in his strict tone, but Kunigami had only held on tighter, saying the warmth was helping him feel better. Chigiri let him, because how could he not?
Then, there was his last morning there. He was packing up and Kunigami had said something along the lines of “you sure you can’t stay forever?” in that playful tone of his. Chigiri had looked up at him wide-eyed, cheeks once more gone completely red, and Kunigami had laughed . “Only teasing, but really… thank you for everything the past few days.” Chigiri punched him in the arm for teasing him and huffed before heading out of the door.
Once he’s snapped back to the present, he shutters.
“Giri?” Kunigami asks carefully, “You oka—”
“Yeah- I mean, no. No problem.” he squeaks, “I’ll go grab the door, sorry.” he almost trips over his own feet as he rushes to the door, quickly locking it up.
“I already redrew your stencil a few minutes ago and sanitized so if you’re ready, I am.” Kunigami says, prepping his pen next.
Chigiri nods, walking towards him and flushing, glad the slightly red-tinted lights made a good mask for him.
“Nervous?” Kunigami asks softly.
Chigiri bites his lip. “A little,” he admits.
“I’ll numb you, if you want. I have the cream for it—”
“I don’t mind the pain,” Chigiri says, faster than he wishes he had. “I-I mean… ah..”
Kunigami looks over him, looking a little concerned. “You’re still sure about this, then?”
“Yeah,” Chigiri breathes, nodding. “Yeah, I want this, so…”
“Go ahead and start undressing so I can get to your stomach then,” Kunigami mutters, tearing his eyes away, letting out a small hum as he wraps his pen’s handle up.
Chigiri makes a small, embarrassing sound as he unbuttons his shirt and tosses it aside. Kunigami thankfully doesn’t glance his way, so he begins doing the same with his pants. He’s left in just a small pair of plain black panties as he walks back towards the chair, feeling far too warm—and far too exposed.
“Let me go grab the stencil,” Kunigami exhales, looking back at him and letting out a bated breath before he stands and walks away quickly.
Chigiri nods, not trusting his own voice. Fuck, how is he going to last through this?
A moment later, Kunigami returns with the stencil and some sort of stick that almost looks like deodorant, plus a razor and sanitizer.
“Alright, lay back.” Kunigami instructs him and Chigiri does as he’s told, blinking up at the ceiling, trying to avoid the inevitable butterflies.
“Relax for me, okay?” His voice is more gentle now. A warm, damp towel is applied to his lower stomach first. Kunigami gently swipes it along his skin before adding a little shaving cream. Despite the fact that there wasn’t much hair there, Kunigami still lightly shaves the area to make sure the stencil transfers properly, additionally sanitizing the area and swiping a gel-like stick along the expanse of it.
“All good?” Kunigami asks, picking up the transfer paper.
“Yeah,” Chigiri whispers.
“You’re more quiet than usual.” Kunigami mumbles, positioning the paper before carefully laying it across his skin, pressing down over each section of it to make sure the ink would press in properly.
“I’m just… thinking.” Chigiri answers, quiet, eyes closed.
“No regrets so far, right?” Kunigami asks, hands gliding over the paper on his stomach. Chigiri can feel the warmth of them despite the layer between their skin.
“No,” Chigiri laughs, “You’re fine, you’re doing great, I just…” really like when you touch me is what he thinks, but the words don’t leave his mouth.
Kunigami shifts forward, smoothing his hand over the stencil again and lifting it. “Are you nervous about being this exposed?” he asks, looking up, “I could get you a towel for your lap. Or if you want, I could let you use my jacket?”
Chigiri shakes his head, “it’s fine,” he whispers, “Thank you, though…” he whispers, arms coming up to cover his chest.
Kunigami reaches up, gently brushing pretty, red strands from Chigiri’s face. “Promise me you’ll tell me if you want to stop.”
Chigiri nods, his stomach filling with butterflies. Seriously, can he stop being attractive? “I promise, Kuni. I’ll tell you if I change my mind.”
Kunigami hums, “I’m gonna change the lights so I can see the red ink properly okay?”
“Go ahead,” Chigiri sighs, moving a little to get comfortable before Kunigami dips his pen into the ink, starting it up and leaning down to start on the first line.
Chigiri takes a sharp breath as gloved fingers brush against his hip, the first few passes of the tattoo pen over his skin making him mentally recoil. Kunigami gently holds him down, pressing on his midsection lightly as he inks in through the stenciled lines precisely.
The soft vibration of the pen ripples through him, his thighs pressing together slightly. He lets out a soft sigh, closing his eyes tight as Kunigami continues to work, seemingly focused on the task at hand.
Kunigami’s free hand shifts, soothingly rubbing his thumb into Chigiri’s hip bone as he continues to work.
“You’re doing so well,” he praises softly, bottom lip catching between his teeth as he zeroes in on his work.
Chigiri’s thighs rub together, a small whine trying to force its way from his throat. Simple praise and a little touch plus the vibration and slight hint of pain? God, he feels like Kunigami just opened his floodgates, slick immediately pouring from the heat between his thighs.
Kunigami makes a soft sound, continuing his work. “This design looks really pretty on you already.” he whispers, “It suits you.”
“The womb tattoo?” Chigiri laughs softly, opening his eyes again, just to see how much those amber color eyes have darkened.
God, maybe Alexis was right .
“Yeah,” Kunigami clears his throat, like he just realized the weight of his words, stopping for a second before continuing again, struggling to really keep it together.
“You into stuff like that?” Chigiri asks, testing the waters.
Kunigami lifts the pen for a moment, looking up at Chigiri, lips parting slightly, like he doesn’t know what to say—how to react.
“Teasing, sorry.” Chigiri smiles a little, his heart sinking to his stomach at the idea of rejection.
“I think I like anything when it’s on you,” Kunigami finally replies, letting out a sigh, his shoulders relaxing as he returns to the tattoo, his eyes going right back to the ink he’s punching into Chigiri’s skin.
Chigiri blinks down at him. “Oh?” He makes a soft sound as Kunigami gently holds his thigh this time, vibrations bursting through his skin again as Kunigami continues to tattoo him. “Y-You’re serious,” Chigiri says with a small whine.
“Yeah,” Kunigami says, “I am. I mean it.” he glances up a split second, before looking back down. “I think you’re far more than just a piece of meat though.” he says, to clarify. “I’m not just saying this because you’re in front of me in these thin ass panties. I want all of you.” he adds.
“So, you wouldn’t take me on this chair after you finish this tattoo?”
“I’d take you on this table while I’m still doing it. I don’t want to risk hurting you though. I’m confident in my tattooing abilities, but—”
“Rensuke.” Chigiri suddenly says, the larger man pulling the tattoo pen away again.
“You–” Kunigami groans, looking flushed, “God, you can’t just say my name like that?” he says, blinking down at him.
Chigiri laughs quietly, spreading his legs slightly, “Ren, you know I’m not fragile, right?” he whispers, “Why don’t you show me how confident you are in your tattooing skills?”
“You’re gonna kill me,” Kunigami mutters, hand gliding along his thigh as he puts the tattoo gun down and pulls the table filled with his inks closer, sliding from his own seat to settle in between Chigiri’s thighs.
“Is that a yes?” Chigiri whispers, licking his lips as he gently grabs Kunigami by his shirt and pulls him down.
“Careful, don’t smudge the lines, I don’t wanna irritate what we’ve already done either.” Kunigami whispers, leaning in and gently kissing the corner of Chigiri’s lips.
Chigiri hums happily, turning and brushing their lips together, “It’d be worth it,” he whispers, “But I guess I shouldn’t undo all this hard work,” he teases before pulling the man into a proper kiss.
It’s heated from the start, the both of them too filled with want to think about trying to make their first kiss together soft or loving. They could do all the mushy stuff later.
Chigiri dominates the kiss first, running his tongue along the roof of Kunigami’s mouth and canting his hips, searching for friction.
Kunigami moans into the kiss, scooting forward and pulling Chigiri’s thighs around his hips, pressing back into him.
Their tongues slide together, Chigiri gently suckling and nipping at Kunigami’s bottom lip.
“I need you to touch me,” he whispers, “Can you do that for me, Ren?” he asks, purring and looking up at him.
“Yeah— yeah… I can. Let me just—” he starts to take the glove off before Chigiri grabs at his wrist and shakes his head.
“Keep it on… I wanna see what it feels like.”
Kunigami’s breath stutters, blinking down at him.
Originally, he’d thought Chigiri seemed somewhat innocent, but now he could see the reality. Chigiri is clearly far from an innocent little princess. If anything, he’s a succubus, enchanting him, begging for his touch.
“Ren~” Chigiri whines, bringing his gloved fingers to his lips and gently licking along them before sucking them into the wet heat of his mouth, bobbing his head.
“Shit… you’re…” Kunigami groans, feeling himself hardening in his jeans—which had already started before this, really, when he’d seen Chigiri looking far too pretty, dressed in next to nothing on his table. “You’re so…” he tries to get out, but no real words come to mind.
Chigiri pops off from his fingers, eyelids heady with need. Slowly, he reaches down, spreading his legs further and pulling his panties to the side.
“You’ll put them in, won’t you?” he asks softly, batting his damn pretty lashes up at Kunigami.
“Yeah– yeah, I can.. I’ll—”
He presses gloved fingers to the already slippery entrance, coated in slick. “Shit, you’re so wet,” Kunigami mutters, slowly pressing the first one in, easy enough glide, not too tight. He pumps it into Chigiri a few times with little reaction, only soft sighs.
Impatient, he adds the second, finally stretching the other’s soaked hole. Chigiri moans, head falling back.
“Fuck..” he curses quietly, toes curling as those fingers slowly push in and out of him.
Kunigami groans, moving down as he continues to pump his fingers into Chigiri’s pretty pussy, kissing along his inner thigh hotly. “It feels so good inside.” he mutters, “Do you feel good, princess? Do you like having my fingers inside?”
“ Yes ,” Chigiri whines, rolling his hips against the heel of Kunigami’s palm as it kisses his clit. “Need more, I need more , Ren…”
“Hyoma,” Kunigami mumbles against his skin, gently nipping at the soft meat of his thigh, looking up into his eyes. “Say my name too—the full thing. I wanna hear you moan for me.”
Chigiri shudders, whining hotly and biting his lip. “Rensuke..” he whispers, “Give me more. Please… please give me more.”
“Be patient,” Kunigami hums, “I’m gonna make sure you feel good, but I need you to let me stretch you properly, okay?”
Chigiri whines, high and needy. “But I need— I need more…”
“You’ll get it princess.” he speeds up the thrusts of his fingers now, sliding in a third. “Soon, I promise you.”
Chigiri whines as those three fingers stretch his pretty hole nice and wide, slick gushing out with each thrust, dripping down between his folds and eventually onto the leather of the seat below him.
It feels good, it feels so good, but he’s aching for Kunigami’s cock. He needs it, he needs Kunigami to fill him.
Every smack of his palm against his clit, every gush of slick drags on. Chigiri whines and whimpers, clenching around them, his head tipping back against the headrest. His chest rises and falls quickly with the whiny moans being pushed from his throat, his back arched, Kunigami careful to not fuck up his tattoo’s outline as he pushes down on the middle of his stomach.
“Almost there baby… you’re so close. Can you hold on one more moment for me?” Kunigami asks and Chigiri nods, whining and biting at his bottom lip again, grabbing onto the arms of the chair. “You’re so good for me princess, so so good .” Kunigami whispers, slipping in his pinky as well, just to confirm the stretch is passable.
Chigiri whines and Kunigami smiles, taking his fingers out and gently wiping them against the towel he’d used earlier.
“There, all good and stretched.” he whispers, throwing his shirt off and to the side and then getting up to do the same with his pants. He doesn’t care where they’ve ended up right now, doesn’t care for much of anything outside of taking care of this absolutely perfect man in front of him and making him feel good—and of course riskily finishing his tattoo.
Chigiri bites his lip. “You’re gonna change your gloves after, r-right?”
“Mhm,” Kunigami smiles, “Don’t need your first tattoo getting infected.” he whispers, stripping the first pair of gloves off and tossing them towards the trash can, his bare hands gently running up Chigiri’s thighs. “You’re so beautiful,” he sighs, “I’m really the luckiest man in the world, getting to be the one who’s touching you right now…” he leans over, gently pecking his lips. “Can I take your panties off, princess?”
Chigiri flushes. “Yeah, go ahead,” he responds quietly, watching as those fingers slip into the waistband of his panties, slowly tugging them off and over his shoulder.
“Perfect… so perfect.” Kunigami hums, brushing his thumb over Chigiri’s clit.
Chigiri whines, his eyes trailing up that tattooed arm, watching the way his muscles flex beneath the ink.
Sexy, Kunigami is not only handsome and kind and an overall amazing man, but he’s sexy . He’s got Chigiri actually about to beg if he doesn’t shove his dick inside any second now.
“Rensuke,” Chigiri moans, whining and reaching for him, gently grasping his wrist.
“Sorry, princess.” he smiles, looking into his eyes again, “You’re just so pretty, I can’t help it.” he hums, genuinely in awe.
Chigiri huffs rather adorably, shutting his legs. “If we don’t move it along, I will make you sit back down and finish my tattoo normally.”
Kunigami, the goddamn saint he is, just looks down at him and goes, “is that what you want?”
Chigiri’s eyes narrow, “No, I want you inside me and finishing this thing.” he points at the lightly smudged ink on his stomach, only a quarter of the way done.
“Is that how you ask?” Kunigami hums, gently setting his hand on his thigh.
Chigiri’s lips open, then close again, shaking his head.
“Ask nicely. Then I’ll do what you want, princess.”
“You—” Chigiri blushes, “Please, Rensuke… fill me up with your cock.”
“Good boy,” Kunigami smiles, finally stripping himself of his boxers and sighing as his cock slaps against his stomach.
It’s hard and thick and long , a vein running up the underside of it, slightly curved upward and dripping pre. Chigiri squirms as he shamelessly stares at it. Will that thing even fit inside? He doesn’t know—but he wants to.
Kunigami laughs softly. “Cat got your tongue, now?” he asks, stroking himself slowly, letting the precum drip down onto the leather below.
Chigiri wishes it was his mouth that was about to be pounded. If he weren’t so desperate to be fucked properly, he’d be begging to suck him off right now. He doesn’t think he’s ever seen a dick actually look this appealing.
Kunigami laughs softly and settles back between Chigiri’s thighs properly, pressing his cock against Chigiri’s beautiful slicked hole.
“Tell me how badly you want it again,” Kunigami mumbles, “Please, princess.”
Chigiri whines, blinking up at him and holding his thighs up, stretching himself further apart for Kunigami. “Please… put it in,” he whispers, “I need you, Rensuke. I need you deep inside me. It’s aching .”
“God,” Kunigami whispers, finally starting to press in. “You’re perfect,” he groans, “So—
fuck
—good.”
Chigiri gasps, back arching up a little, eyes going glossy. “You’re so–” he whines, tightening around his cock, “So big — oh my g-god,” he stumbles on his words, biting his bottom lip.
“You’re beautiful,” Kunigami goans, “So beautiful, so good—you feel so good –” he groans, pushing himself to the hilt, holding tightly onto Chigiri’s hips. “Shit…”
“K-Kunigami..” Chigiri moans, bucking his hips.
“Let me feel you for a minute, princess.” Kunigami exhales shakily, “Let me focus just on you, just for a minute.”
He pulls almost the whole way out before sliding back in, slow and deep. Chigiri’s head falls back, lips parted in a needy whine as Kunigami grips tighter at his hips, repeating the movement again. “Ren.. Re-Rensuke…” he moans, his nails digging bluntly into the backs of his thighs where he holds them up.
“More… I need more of you,” Kunigami groans, leaning down and swallowing a moan as his lips slot into Chigiri’s, the two of them kissing slow and hot, just like the rhythm Kunigami sets, aching and hot and yet so patient, wanting to please the both of them wholly.
Their lips glide together messily, exchanging saliva between hot brushes of their tongues and the light clanking of teeth. They were beyond even need at this point, wholly planning on consuming one another, in that deep, romantic way.
Chigiri lets go of his thighs, his fingers tangling into Rensuke’s hair. “Keep going,” he mumbles against his lips when he’s realized that Kunigami has frozen in place, kissing him deeply once more.
Kunigami hums into it, pulling Chigiri’s thighs around his waist and continuing to fuck him slow and deep, fingers gliding up his waist, exploring his soft skin.
Chigiri whines as they find his chest, rough fingers pinching at the pink little buds on his chest.
“Cute,” Kunigami mutters, breaking away to hotly kiss down Chigiri’s neck, alternating between little pecks and desperate mouthing at his skin. “You taste good…”
Chigiri laughs softly, “You gonna eat me, then?” he teases.
“Mmh, maybe,” Kunigami whispers, his thrusts speeding up a little, punching sweet little sounds from Chigiri’s red, swollen lips as he bites into skin and groans. Fingers tug at Chigiri’s nipples, feeling the way the other reacts beneath him, hearing his sweet sounds. Twitching, whining, looking absolutely gorgeous.
He makes sure to leave a mark on his neck, stake his claim—even though he’s not really the possessive type, he can’t seem to help himself.
When he pulls back, his thrusts slow again and Chigiri pants, letting out a little disappointed whimper.
“What?” Chigiri pants, looking up into his eyes as Kunigami hovers above him.
“You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever met,” he whispers, pecking his lips softly, “Your tattoo can wait until we’re done.” he mutters.
He pulls back again before thrusting back in, this time a little faster, “I’m gonna make you cum for me first,” he whispers, “I need to see you come apart,” he grunts, starting a fast pace. “Keep your eyes on me, princess.”
Chigiri gasps, reaching up and hugging his arms around the man’s neck again, letting Kunigami thrust into him rhythmically, the man sliding just below his chest, gripping at his skin as he moans quietly.
Kunigami is perfect. He’s everything Chigiri needs. He’s gentle, he’s kind, he’s a well-rounded man. Plus, he’s got a damn good dick on him and makes him feel good .
Their bodies tangled together on the chair that night, hands exploring one another, marking one another with loving bites, scratches, and with the tattoo that Chigiri leaves with—after Kunigami had finished him off, of course. Ever the caring gentleman.
Chigiri had woken up in Kunigami’s bed the next morning, half clothed and wrapped in his strong arms. He almost didn’t want to wake up, but Kunigami was already whispering good morning in his gravelly voice and kissing the top of his head.
“How are you feeling?” he whispers.
“Like I’ve just woken up from the sweetest dream,” Chigiri hums in response, hands sliding up his strong chest.
Kunigami laughs softly. “I think I may still be in mine.” he whispers, leaning down as Chigiri looks up at him, gently pressing a kiss to his lips.
Chigiri kisses him back, slow and soft, wrapping an arm around his neck and pulling him closer.
Their tongues slide together, morning breath be damned.
Kunigami slides a hand up his hip and Chigiri instantly pushes him onto his back before straddling his hips, his new tattoo on display as he throws the sleep shirt that Kunigami had lent him off.
“Yeah, definitely still in a dream,” Kunigami sighs fondly, gliding his hands up those pretty thighs.
Chigiri smirks, “I’m real,” he whispers, slowly rolling his hips against the other man’s, “You’re mine now. Right, Ren?” he licks his lips.
Kunigami nods a bit dumbly, gripping his thighs gently. “Yup, I’m all yours…” he hums, “So, you must be mine too, then.”
“I’m all yours,” Chigiri practically purrs, leaning down and kissing him again.
Kunigami groans and pulls him closer. Kissing him deeply, the two of them only part when they run out of breath. “So then, round two?” he asks.
“Mhmm. Do your worst, hero ..”
Kunigami laughs quietly. “Yeah, whatever you want, princess .”
A year later, Chigiri is showing off his engagement ring to his friends over facetime. “Do you see this?!” he asks, excited.
Alexis eyes it, his grin bright. “The size of it!” he squeals, “Wow, Kaiser you hear that?!” he calls over his shoulder, “Chigiri’s engaged!” he calls.
“That’s great, babe!” Kaiser shouts back and Alexis makes a face before huffing.
Chigiri laughs, “Oh come on,” he teases, “Cut him some slack. Not all men can be like mine.”
“Yeah, you’re welcome.” Reo teases, looking over him. “Can’t believe this all started at the shop and with your dear best friends convincing you to date your super hot FIANCE !!” he says loudly, seemingly pestering his partner as well.
“I say again,” Chigiri teases, “Not all men can be like mine.” he snorts.
“The ring is seriously gorgeous,” Alexis grins, “How did he propose? You guys are in Germany, right?”
Chigiri nods, “Yup! Your homeland,” he laughs, “Apparently he was an apprentice here for a few years, so we went on a sort of art tour.” he explains, “It was really romantic— he brought me to that big castle—”
“Neuschwanstein Castle!” Alexis cuts him off.
“Yes, that one!” Chigiri says, “And we took a beautiful walk and were talking about adopting another cat together and then he said he wanted to take a picture of me so…” he grins, looking fondly at his ring, “I turned around to face the castle, and when I looked back to ask why I didn’t hear the shutter, he was down on one knee with the ring box out.”
Kunigami suddenly dips into the frame, pressing a kiss to Chigiri’s cheek before greeting both Reo and Alexis. “I see you’re already bragging.” he teases his lover, gently holding his waist.
Chigiri laughs and nudges him, “Of course I am. I’m insanely lucky after all,” he hums. “Why don’t you tell them what your opening line to your proposal was?”
Kunigami faces the camera again. “It’s only right to be at a castle when I ask a princess such an important question,” he says. “That’s what I led with.”
“You fucking sap,” Reo groans, “Nagi!” he calls, “You better propose to me at least half as romantic!”
“Kay, Reo!” Nagi calls back quietly.
Alexis laughs, “Yeah, I don’t really expect anything like that.” he teases. “Kunigami, you sure I can’t join you guys?” he jokes.
“Mh, no thanks. Chigiri is a handful enough,” he says playfully. “I’m gonna go call that restaurant, princess. Be back.” Kunigami says, “See you guys on Monday!” he calls to the other two before leaving the room.
Chigiri smiles. “I really am the luckiest person to ever live. The best of friends and the best of fiances.”
“Soon-to-be-husband,” Reo smirks, “You happy?”
“You don’t even have to ask that,” Alexis snorts, “Look at that smile. We’re miracle workers. I knew Kunigami would be his match.”
“Yeah, yeah. Thank you both for forcing me into falling head over heels for this man,” Chigiri laughs, rolling his eyes before walking down onto the balcony of their hotel room. “So, which one of you do you think is next?” he asks.
“Wanna place bets?” Reo smirks, “I’m gonna bet it’s me.”
“Well, you always get what you want, so I don’t know if that’s fair,” Alexis snorts, “But fine. I guess I’m voting on me.” he sighs, “What about you, Chigiri?”
“I’d put a hundred down on Reo.” he responds.
“Hah! I got the newly engaged one’s luck on my side!” he says, crossing his arms over his chest.
“You both suck!” Alexis groans playfully before sticking his tongue out and ending the call.
“We’re both gonna owe him money now,” Chigiri says.
“Mhmm, but we promised Micha we wouldn’t be obvious, so. Oh well.” Reo laughs, “You go enjoy your engagement. I’m sure you and Kuni have plenty to do.” he grins.
Chigiri laughs, “Yeah, we do.” he hums, “Like each other.”
“Now look who's talking,” Reo teases, “Mister ‘noo don’t sex talk around me’. You get a fiancee and now the rest of us must suffer.” he jokes.
“Mhhm~ I got years worth of payback built up.”
“Petty.” Reo smiles. “Alright, I’m gonna pester Nagi with my wedding pinterest again.” he snorts, “I’ll talk to you later! Congrats again, Giri!”
Giri grins bright, “Your time will come too, Reo. I’m rooting for you and your dense man,” he laughs, “have fun!”
The call ends and Chigiri once more looks at his ring in awe. When he turns around, Kunigami is right there again. “I got us a reservation for tonight around six. Sound good?” he smiles.
“Sounds perfect,” Chigiri sighs happily, walking up and throwing his arms around his lover before kissing him slowly.
Kunigami holds him tight, letting his eyes fall shut as he kisses back, uncaring about the gloss smudging on his lips.
The moment is slow and completely perfect, just the two of them sharing their warmth in the comfort of each other’s arms.
“I love you,” Kunigami whispers against the redhead’s lips.
Chigiri smiles, tilting his head up to kiss the tip of his lover’s nose, soft and affectionate. “I love you, too.”
