“Hey, you were the one that ended it, not me,” Eddie said, still smirking slightly, like this was all a game to him. “I’d still happily rock your world if you’d let me, Stevie boy.”
“But that’s exactly the problem,” Steve snapped, poking at Eddie’s chest. “That’s all you fucking want, isn’t it? Sorry I was tired of taking it all the time, it’s not my fault you were never willing to give up control.”
Eddie snorted, leaning back against the wall, arms crossed over his chest. “You’d think, considering how much of a whiny brat you are, that you’d be all about taking. You wanna top Stevie boy? How’s about we make a bet?”
“A bet?” Steve asked, following Eddie’s finger as he pointed into the crowd, eyes landing on the waiter once again.
“Yeah, why don’t we see which one of us gets to take the blue-eyed beauty home tonight?”
