   Summary

   As Sauron's shadow stretches over Middle Earth, Faramir is set on a perilous journey, which might change the course of the war. However, as the always perceived lesser son of Denethor, the fear of failure he bears in his heart might prove to be his salvation. Or his doom.

   Meanwhile, on the continent, the war which had decimated the lands has been over for two years now. Jaskier finds himself alone in the aftermath, with friends gone and no anchor to the world he had been born in.
