    Eric worriedly paced a hole into the floors of the hospital, looking at the emergency doors like he could will them to burst open any second. He felt so guilty. That should’ve been him on the stretcher. He should’ve showed up to the scene when dispatch called, he knows. He was too busy wrapped up in his personal life, letting what he was going through cloud his judgment in regards to his job. It was just his luck that he was in the area when Ryan had called for assistance.
