    Marcus always tried to play it safe. Did it work? Hardly ever. He almost always got tangled up in his emotions. So when a season agent transfers from Chicago to Washington, the fall into an unofficial friendship. But beneath the surface, Marcus starts to have feelings that are never voiced. Until fate changes everything. Now he struggles to balance love with fear, while she struggles with his overprotectiveness. It is an imperfect raw bond, balanced between light and darkness.
