Summary
Konoha is the military and industrial heart of the Land of Fire, but even its thick walls are not impermeable to change. Whether it comes from within or from outside, its inhabitants are evolving, just like the rest of the world. Whether they work in the factories or for the railways, whether they endure their daily lives or seek change, they all cross paths and miss each other at the Victory Square Station, they all judge or ignore each other, they love and they argue.
The Uchiha brothers are settling into Konoha after a long absence. Hinata is searching for the meaning of her life. For Sai and Ino, art must be worthy of life itself. Sakura and her factory coworkers don't have grand dreams, but they dream all the same. Kiba seeks out life's small joys, just like his Ma'. People live and people die.
This is going to be a slow, low-stake story, aggressively working-class and positively metro-loving so join me as we explore those characters' lives.
