Summary
Earth’s hands slipped down to his shoulders and squeezed. “Just… tell me if they get worse, alright?” Earth smiled and tried to inject a little levity into his voice. “Otherwise we might have to send half the solar system to fish you out of the Kuiper Belt, too.”
Luna’s face shuttered as some unreadable emotion seemed to hit him. Earth instantly backpedaled. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Can you go five minutes without upsetting someone. “Sorry. Too soon right? Yeah, of course it’s too soon, I—“
“I’m sorry.”

Luna starts having flashbacks to Proto and Theia. This opens up a much needed conversation. -

“Yeah,” Earth sighed. “We probably have to, in all honesty. These… visions or whatever, I think they get better when we’re told stories about them.” Because as sudden as the last one was, it wasn’t as all consuming as the ones that left him stranded in the Kuiper Belt. “Maybe they’re only so intense because no one in this system talked about them.”
“So then…” Luna trailed off. They looked at each other, then over to the Sun. Asleep, probably would be for a few hours. Wordlessly, they turned towards Mars’ orbit.
The red planet spotted them as they approached. Frantically, Mars hissed at them. “Earth, what are you doing? Go back to your orbit!”
“The Sun is asleep,” Earth called back, but stopped moving forward. “We have some time.”
“You were an ice cube not too long ago, dude!”
Earth internally sighed. If everyone was gonna be on his case this would get old really fast. “Then come to my orbit! I… We want to talk about Proto and Theia. Properly.”
Mars’ eyes widened slightly, but stood up and followed them. The three of them wordlessly went back to Earth’s orbit, sitting in a loose circle.
Mars cleared his throat. “Where do you want to start?”
