   Summary

   After their fight on Boxing Day, Ilya was too hurt to call Shane. Too tired to text. Shane was too anxious and scared to do it first. Both of them will be haunted by their choice when Ilya's plane crashes on his flight to Tampa Bay. After having never come out to the world that they were together, Ilya in his last moments, hurtling towards his certain death at 29, finds himself unable to stop thinking about two people and his future wedding with Shane. A story that will never come to life. Shane finds out during his own game that the love of his life is now gone, gone where he can't follow him.
   A story of death, grief and mourning. Shane losing everything even though his best friends and parents surround him with their love. A few last words from the last person he thought he would ever see change his life.
