Or, Astrid never discovers Toothless’ cove. The night before his final test Hiccup doesn’t discover the Red Death’s nest, and makes a decision that will change his fate forever, sending him off to a brand new journey and, in turn, changing the fate of those he meets down the road.
(Novel concept, I know, but bear with me please).

This. Is. WONDERFUL! SPECTACULAR! GREAG WRITING AND CHARACTERIZATION. Oh, Something I have wanted from a httyd fanfic, something so rare and scarce, and author you have captured it beautifully. The way I love each one of the story you gave them, it was fantastic, gave them a lot of depth canon lacked. I absolutely adore every moments, every little details you put. Not to mention the way you must have put your time to use the rune and the culture, wonderful, really.
