“Goodbye, darling…” Naruto spoke softly, his voice was almost hard to hear and incomprehensible due to the voice cracks in his finicky murmur.
“Goodbye? Why goodbye when it’s only til Thursday?” Sasuke asks, both confused yet worried for his lover.
“Because… every parting from you is… it’s like a little eternity.” Naruto explains, embarrassed from showing his true feelings, preplanned there might be some teasing coming from Sasuke.
Sasuke only smiles, showing no teeth, it was another one of his faint simpers. “That’s the way I feel too, you know. It does feel like a little eternity each time we part, but at the end of those eternities, we meet once more.”
“Goodbye, Sasuke.” Naruto repeats once more, his body steps a little closer to his lover, wanting to breathe the same air together.
“Goodbye my little sentimentalist.” Sasuke chuckles softly, his heart warmed by Naruto’s sincere heartfelt words.
