Summary
The moment Severus returned home after his first year at Hogwarts, he was certain of one thing: he would never go back to that hell. The first thing he did upon seeing his parents was to tell them everything he had suffered in that place and his desire never to return. His parents were so furious that they wanted to go to the school and demand an explanation, but it was too late.
Tobias, wanting to help his son, decided to send him to live with his older sister in a small town in Georgia, in the United States. Severus was apprehensive about going so far, especially alone, but to start over, a change of scenery was the best thing.
When he met his aunt, his first thought of her was that she was a strange woman, but it was this madness that he needed to heal.
