Danny was just so tired. After the defeat of Pariah at his hands, he's gained some kind of fear aura that makes people stay away from him. Sucks big time, right? With his friends, family, hell even strangers pulling away from him he's exhausted. So when Skulker catches him at a bad time with some new weapon, he goes down immediately.
