People have always tried to achieve perfect control over one another so when Scarecrow discovers a way to intrude into others dreams, he tries this, only to realise that what he discovered is much bigger than just gaining control over people’s sleep.
By using the Robin as his first test subject and then offering him to the Red Hood to throw Batman off his trail, world domination seems nearly possible.
If only there weren’t rules to this wonderful method and if only people behaved exactly like they logically should.

The first world will be DC (DCCU? Cinematic continuity DC, idk), as that's what I currently wanna write better.
The second world will be Marvel (MCU), as I also wanna get deeper into the MCU.

He blinks, and when he comes to he is no longer in that shimmering liquid, both of his eyes are open and clear of obstruction, and his hands - much larger than he remembers - crush the throat of another robed ninja, with several more littering the floor around them. He can feel the knobs of the spine under his fingers and they twitch, hungry. There is an itch within him, so primal and utterly Jason, that makes his heart, a dead and lifeless thing a mere three hours ago, beat in a rhythm that resonates with his soul, if he even still has one of those. There is a tiny, niggling thought in the back of his brain that whispers its warnings of caution but it is so small and insignificant that it doesn't even impact his decision-making, if you could even call it that.

Ugly things were real and permanent. They marred the world, left their mark wherever they went. It was not his ugliness that unnerved him. It was his simplistic mind that he was ashamed of.
His body was broken but his mind was carved empty. He’d been brilliant once, he was sure. Sometimes Ra’s told him stories of his past intelligence, of the times when he called him Detective. Timothy listened to those stories with childish envy, unable to comprehend how the person Ra’s spoke of with such pride had been him.
Sometimes, he thought the Bat might love him. Then he would remember that he wasn't the one he looked at with such soft eyes and he'd think of the Tim that the Bat wanted with such visceral hatred that he scared himself.
