Summary
There were so many little things that chipped Katsuki within his walls– when Izuku first looked past him to search for her instead, when he found out they were dating, when Izuku admitted he wanted to propose to her, or when he was asked to be his best man. Katsuki was able to hold everything together for Izuku through the reception of his wedding. By the time it was over, all those cracks left Katsuki's heart fragmented and even he didn't have the strength to hold those pieces together longer than he already had. So he pulled himself out of Izuku's orbit, as much as he could let himself anyway.

Or, Katsuki caves after two years of distancing himself when Izuku needs his help. The sudden proximity after spending those years missing one another and all the things that were left unsaid throughout their lives finally comes to bite them in the ass.
