The princess of Sol laid in field of grass completely knocked out from space-time event she just went through. Small critters shyly more close to her seeing if the strange person who appeared was alright, when suddenly her eyes snapped open.
*GASP* "SONIC!"
She leapt to her feet, scaring the small animals in the process, and looked around trying to see where she landed and where her friend was. Only to be meet with confusion as her panic left and took in the area she was in.'wait,im back at palmtree?'
Sure enough the same zone she had left from, with the green fields and iconic plamtrees it was like never actual left.' this can't be,' Blaze thought,' I was sure something had happened, or did I only imagine that void I fell through?'
Blaze continued to question the events of what had happened when she felt something brush against her foot. she looked down and found a small squirrel looking up at her curiously, and soon the other critters came closer wonder just who this cat was." im sorry little ones I didn't mean to scare you.' Blaze calmly says as she gently pets the squirrel. seeing the princess is friendly the animals all smile as the move in to welcome their new friend to their little zone.
Blaze smiles as the animals hug and nuzzle her but she soon remembers her blue friend and decides to ask for help,"im sorry but have any of you seen a blue hedgehog around here? he goes by the name S-". Blaze's words are cut short when a curved blade wizzed past her head, missing it by and inch.
As the animals scatters in fear of the new danger, Blaze turns her head only to see,"a badnik?"
Yes as shocking as it seems an Eggman badnik charging to her with its remaining claw raised. Blaze just lower her eyelids as he raises her hand and blast a fireball at the incoming robot. the ball hits it target as the robot is destroyed with a pop and a small pig runs from the scrapped metal of their former prison.
' I really should have known. of course it was that mad fool.' Blaze sighs as she rubs her eyes. she looks up only to see more badniks around the area and what seems to be a strange plant capsule.
'Sonic must have gone ahead to deal with the doctor better not keep him waiting.' Blaze then revs up her flames and charge ahead towards the badniks smashing them all out of her way. when she reaches the capsule she pauses and looks at the strange device in wonder. ' this isn't like the other types of capsules the doctor usually uses.' Blaze recalls from many of Sonic's stories that the containment capsules Eggman usually uses are more cylindrical with a button on top to release the trapped animals, but this one seemed very different. it seemed to have been grown from the ground and the rounded dome seems to be moving. Fearing more innocent animals are inside Blaze smashes the capsule only to be surprised when instead of animals, ball of energy burst out seeping into the ground and making massive plants and flowers grow from the. "incredible.", Blazes says as she admires the new plant life she help create.
"HO HO HO HO!"
Crashing down to the ground and launching Blaze away was a giant pair of mech legs with bumper punching arms and piloting the device was a certain rounded bald mad genius.
"Well now isn't this a surprise. at first I thought it was that hedgehog who was destroying wonderful creations but its seem that he's not the only rodent who is trying to ruin my perfect plans" a cold and dark voice came from the mech.
'RODENT?!'
Literally flamming from the jab from the doctor Blaze rise from the ground and turns to yell at him,"LISTEN HERE You ma...". Blaze angry quickly leaves her as he actual looks at the Eggman before her, at least she thinks it's Eggman. he is much rounder than the doctor she knew and his limbs are more shorter. his outfit is more simple with a red and yellow polo instead of his extravagant coat and,'is that a cape?'
"No matter. I will just crush you instead!", the doctor charges at the princess to smash her with the mechs bumper fist. as Blaze readies a fighting stance a loud voice breaks through the air.
"GANG WAY!"
A familiar blue blur races past Blaze as a ball suddenly bashes into the mech pushing it and the mad doctor back from the fire cat.
"Well then long time no see, Robutnik." the blue figure says now facing the doctor.
"The name is Robotnik you pest. Dr. Ivo Robotnik, and don't think you will win this time I have learned many things from our original encounter."Robotnik gloats as he charges at the hedgehog.
"Sure you have Doc, but that won't stop me from running circles around you and your dumbots." the hedgehog mocks getting ready to bash Robotnik's mech again.
Blaze just stands there completely shocked. It has seemed she has found her friend but he looks very different from the one she knew and admires. He was much shorter with a very rounder belly and much less quills than she has seen. And instead of the cobalt blue he was much lighter and with very basic sneakers compared to her Sonic's. And lastly were his eyes, instead of the piercing bright green eyes she has always know they were black and seemingly innocent, no inexperienced would be a better fit to describe them.
*BOOM* BOOM* BOOM*
It seemed while Blaze was distracted from her confusion Sonic has defeated Robotnik's mech. "Just you wait you hedgehog I have something waiting that will destroy you one and for all!" Robotnik says as the escapes with his pod detaches and rises to the sky.
"I'll smash whatever you throw at Robo-head." Sonic mocks as he rubs his nose with his classic smirk on his face. He then remembers that he is not alone as he turns the the cat still sitting shocked at what she just witnessed."hey you ok?" Sonic ask as he walks to her and and reaches his hand out to help her up.
Blaze snaps out of her trance and slowly reaches for the hedgehog's hand. she's pretty sure he is who she thinks he is but she had to be sure,"S-Sonic?"
The hedgehog smiles as he winks at her,"You got it! Sonic's the name and speed is game!"
