Chapter Text
Pure Vanilla stepped into the Blueberry Yoghurt Academy, the soft wind bristled across his dough moving his hair just a bit and the sun radiating off him. He moved quietly from the halls of the academy to his classroom, opening the door he spots another cookie. ‘Hm, another cookie here this early? There’s another 30 minutes until class starts.’ He thinks he moves closer toward an empty chair next to the white haired cookie, “Do you mind if I sit here?” The blonde haired boy asked while gesturing to the desk next to them. “O-oh yeah it’s free!” a feminine voice called out.
Pure Vanilla sat down on the left of the chair and glanced across to the girl. Her hair shined against the sun, a long luscious white braid was shown with pink accents on the bottom, her crimson eyes tracking the textbook on her desk with her homework on the side. ‘What’s this blooming against my heart? I don't think I’ve felt this feeling before…’ The tingling feeling never quite left him, not until he made eye contact with her. The tingling feeling increases into a thumping rhythm until it skips a beat. He tries to breathe, but taking another glance at her eventually leads him to passing out.
At the time, the braided cookie didn’t dare to look at him, but when she saw him out of the corner of her eye, it seemed that he was simply taking a nap. She did her text studies and finished off her homework as fast as she could, but the bell rang before she finished. The white haired cookie stood up from her chair. “A-Alright! Uhm, hey- You might want to wake up…! Class is starting…” There was no response. “..Uh, hello?” Again, nothing. While she didn’t like touching people without their permission, the braided girl also didn’t want to leave Pure Vanilla. She began poking, carefully tugging a piece of hair, and even shaking the chair a bit. Eventually, she got concerned and lifted his head. That was the exact moment she realised this cookie may have to go to the nurse.
“...Hello?!” 10 minutes have already passed. The girl didn’t want to be late. She pushed the blonde haired boy off the chair, lifted him up on her back, and began sprinting towards the nurses office. Her heart was thumping extremely fast. She was stressed. By the time she had arrived, she was guaranteed to be 15 minutes late to class. She ran up to the nurse with Pure Vanilla in her hands. “Excuse me…! This is urgent!! I think this cookie may have blacked out before class…!” Without another word, the nurse straightforwardly took Pure Vanilla to the treatment room. While the braided girl was confused, she didn’t question it and immediately ran to class.
Meanwhile with Pure Vanilla…
He eventually wakes up flustered from the thoughts from his mind, “Dearie are you alright?” the nurse called out from the other side of the room. “U-uh yeah! I think I’m alright!” Pure Vanilla says. “That's amazing dear! Though, I must say, you are very late to class. Could you fetch yourself a late pass?” The nurse replied. “Oh my, how late am I?” Pure Vanilla mumbles but the nurse still catches it “Well… you are exactly an hour and 32 minutes late! If you sit here waiting longer, you may be even more late dearie!“
“OH MY WITCHES!” Pure Vanilla calls out while dashing out the nurses office. “You’ll get your late pass right!!!??” echoed the nurses voice across the hall where Pure Vanilla was, but gone. While Pure Vanilla was sprinting to his classroom, the principal had stopped him. “Excuse me young man, but I thought you were away today. Have you perhaps gotten yourself a late pass?” asked Parfaedia Principal. “U-Uh, alright! I’ll grab a late pass…” Pure Vanilla calmed down a bit.
PRESENT TIMES-AFTER THE WAR
Pure Vanilla stepped out of his chambers to head to the Crows Nest Inn passing the Solarium of Unity and the Garden stopping just for a few seconds to take a glance at the spot where Dark Cacao’s tent used to be before the war. “Pure Vanilla, good morning! How are you today?” Villiger 2 called out from the front counter, “Hello there, I am doing just fine! How are you as well?" Pure Vanilla replied back, “Doing fine as well! What brings you here in the Crows Nest Inn?”
“I was hoping to find Black Raisin Cookie, but it looks like she isn’t here.” Pure Vanilla took a chance to look around the Inn again only to find a certain sleep deprived cookie sipping a cup of coffee which seems to be the strongest kind. “Good morning Espresso Cookie, how do you do? Because it seems like you haven’t gotten enough sleep again.” Pure Vanilla turned his attention to Espresso Cookie who put his cup down and turned to look at Pure Vanilla Cookie, “Yes, some of the icing from the Waffle Bots had melted again, and it took a while to fix it. Me and Strawberry Crepe Cookie must find a solution to this problem…” Espresso spoke back to Pure Vanilla who still had his smile on his face. “Well I hope you are able to fix the problem quickly! But have you seen Black Raisin anywhere?”
“I saw her passing through the Plaza a while back. You might still find her there.” Then Espresso got back to sipping his coffee, “Thank you, Espresso Cookie and I hope you have a great day!” Pure Vanilla called out while exiting the Crows Nest Inn. Then he proceed to walk through the Magic Academy to the Plaza and he eventually find a certain ponytailed lady sweeping about in the Plaza, Pure Vanilla reaching into his sleeve and grabbing a envelope, “Can you give this to White Lily Cookie Please?” Pure Vanilla calls out grabbing the attention of Black Raisin Cookie, “Of course, Pure Vanilla Cookie.” Pure Vanilla gives the envelope to Black Raisin Cookie and she gives it to a stand by crow on her shoulder. Black Raisin Cookie’s crow eventually scurries off to track down White Lily Cookie’s location.
