Disobedient

That's what he's always been perceived as, and he preferred to keep it that way. No one didn't need to see the layers that he had hidden beneath the surface, but those eyes he has... Ever seeing, ever perceiving, what felt like were staring into Tills soul through obsidian eyes, always watching.

And today was no different.

He could feel those voidfull eyes burning holes into the back of his head as the professor explained the new project they'd have to work on. He was already annoyed he had to attend class in the first place, he could be doing ANYTHING else right now, but nooo, this stupid class was fucking mandatory.

He huffs, spinning a pencil between his slender fingers and listening with mild interest, he had to at least know what he had to do, he couldn't fail this class.

“-i will have you create something on the basis of continuity and differentiation with real world applications. I don't care what you do, and who you do it with, but you will have until the end of the month to turn in what you come up with. And you better not slack on this and give me something half assed, because I'm making this half of your grade. Ill give you 5 minutes to pick a partner and then you’ll be dismissed. Ti- yes Till what is it?”

All eyes are on him, great. “Can I just do this solo?” he asks languidly, watching the professor grab a stack of papers and walk towards the class as he answers. “No Till, and if you do so it will be an automatic fail, got that class?”

Everyone nods their heads but Till just throws his head back on his chair, feeling the back of his skull touch rough plastic in frustration. ‘Of course, he just had to be a dick about it’ he ponders with disdain. He watches as the teacher stop by the one student that makes him annoyed to begin with.

“This paper will have all the requirements needed in order to pass. Ivan here will pass them out and then you will find your partner.” He drops the stack on his desk but Ivan doesn't bat an eye, face stoic as ever.

As he stands up, Till just turns back to his desk and leans over his side, grabbing his phone from his backpack, popping in his headphones into his ears and putting on his favorite playlist. 'I'll just wait til everyone finds a partner and whoever is left I’ll just pair with.’ He folds his arms and rests his head on them, drowning out the sounds of chairs scraping and feet shuffling as people find their partners.

It's been like two minutes until he gets tapped on the shoulder, and he turns his head to eye the culprit, who happened to be the bane of his existence.. Beside his teacher.

Dark eyes bore into his own and he hands him a paper with a barely legible smile. Till all but snatches it from him, and yeah he knows he's being a moody dick, but he didn't care, he was irritated god dammit.

He grabbed his pencil and started drawing to pass the five minutes the class had left to find partners, periodically eyeing the class to see who's left. There's a couple of people surrounding Ivan's desk but he turns them all down, which was weird, but he minded his business and went back to drawing.

Soon enough, he could hear the teacher yell ‘one minute!’ and he looked up, he had to see who his potential partner was. He scanned the classroom, eyes washing over everyone who was a pair, looking for at least one person.

Finally, his eyes find the one person he didn't want to pair with and turns around quickly with a huff, seeing his teacher looking at him and tapping his wrist, mouthing ‘times almost up’.

He frowns vexation, his heart dreading the footsteps he can hear approaching and pops out his headphones .’God dammit!’

He folds his arms and looks up at the tall, well built, and dare he say handsome figure before him. “What do you want?” he questions, despite knowing his impending answer. “ Will you be my partner?” he inquired innocently. Till scoffs at the question, snatching Ivan's paper from him and writing down his name on it. “Its not like I have a choice” he uttered.

Till shoves Ivans paper back at him and writes Ivans name on his own paper, confirming they are partners, much to Tills dismay.

“Can I have your number?”

The white-haired boy freezes at the question, looking up from his own paper. ‘Why is this dude so eerily direct with people?’ he ruminates. “Why do you need my number?” he asked accusingly. Sue him, no one gets it without saying why, but it seems Ivan was quick to supply an answer. “So we can communicate about the project whenever we aren’t in class”

Tlll throws the paper into his bag and stands up, slinging it over his shoulder. “Well, we have like thirty classes to talk it over, which is like, what, thirty hours' worth of talking, which I would say is more than enough to get this done.”

Till shoves his hands into his pockets, waiting for a reply, and he gets one not a second later. “Well, I get the feeling you want this project done as soon as possible and I feel if we could communicate about it outside of class, we could make that happen. Does that sound reasonable to you?” The raven hair male states matter of factly.

TIll registers what he said, and he does have a good point, he did want to get this done as fast as possible.. He sighs as he relents, snatching Ivan's paper from him once again and scribbling down his number. “ You only message me about the project and the project only, got it?”

Ivan nods placidly. “Glad we understand each other" Till kicks his chair into the desk and makes a beeline for the door, leaving Ivan in the now empty classroom.

The tall brunet looks down at his paper and smiles complacently.
