Sodapop knows the type of reputation he has in the gang—he knows what kind of person they take him for. Sure, they think he’s tuff and whatnot, but they also think he’s sensitive. That he feels too much, that he cries too much.
And sure, maybe he does, but it doesn’t make him any less of a greaser than they are, that’s for sure.
So why the hell was he falling apart because of some good-for-nothing Socs that had roughed him up a little?
