Summary
There are many things that Miles Edgeworth used to be. A defense attorney hopeful. An honorable person. A woman. Somewhere along the line, he ended up living each image of himself behind, striving for ever more mechanical perfection as he had been instructed to do. Then the night comes that he stands ready to carry the weight of the one sin he did not commit—a night wracked by restless fantasies of the past self he abandoned coming to prosecute him for all the ones he did.
Time, time, and time again, his mind plays out the motions of bringing a bloody end to his life in ways that his own hands find themselves too cowardly to do.
