Notes:

Hi, everyone! I am so glad this series has been doing great. I originally didn't think much about it when I came up with the storyline for this series but I am glad to be releasing the final chapter to it. I hope you all have enjoyed this series and everything yet to come for my profile.

Also, note that I don't own Transformers. All characters belong to Hasbro. Nothing besides the plotline of this story is my own.

Chapter Text

We were once a peaceful, yet powerful race of intelligent mechanical beings. Until pride and a lust for power and purpose divided us. Overmatched and outnumbered, my Decepticons fought valiantly to defeat the evil scourge that is the Autobots. Our last hope was the leader of Cybertron, Sentinel Prime. He could turn the tide of battle in our favor, he could give us hope. Yet ... our hope, vanished.

Sentinel Prime, the coward that he is, ran from the war when he found an opportunity to. He could've helped us win, he could have helped me save our planet and our people. Yet, he turned his back on us all. As he tried to escape our planet, a single aerial fighter found him and shot his ship, the Ark, sending it flying off into deep space, into parts unknown.

...

Sentinel Prime's personal star ship had disappeared from Cybertron. Flying off into the deep darkness of space. It floated aimlessly for eons, before finding its way to a small object in space. Earth's moon. It crashed onto the surface with ferocity and power, creating a huge dust cloud before finally settling and sitting in silence. This crash did not go unnoticed, however, as it was detected on Earth.

The space agency known as NASA picked it up on their sensors. Hurriedly trying to get the message to the United States government officials who needed to know that a large object had struck the Moon. One of these messengers made their way to the Oval Office of the White House.

"Mr. President! Mr. President!" He shouted as he barged inside. "NASA has detected an ... anomaly on the surface of the Moon."

He then handed the president a document containing data related to the crash. The president then tiled his head up to look at the man when he was finished reading. A cold and stern look on his face.

"Then you better tell NASA to move Heaven and Earth. We need to get to the Moon." Said President John F. Kennedy.

Over the next couple of years, NASA worked diligently to put a man on Earth's Moon before Russia did. By 1969, they had finally finished their grand masterpiece, Apollo 11. On July 20th, the rocket had finally launched and made its way to the Moon. On the rocket was Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin.

However, while the main focal point of their mission to the Moon was to get there before the USSR did. Little did the public know but they were also sent their to investigate the crash site detected in 1961. After landing and making the first steps on the Moon with great public applaud, they crept over to the dark side of the Moon.

Publicly they lost communication with Earth. However, NASA kept in contact with them. A mission director leaned close to his microphone to speak with Buzz and Neil as they crept towards the crashed Cybertronian spaceship.

"Neil, Buzz." He said, "the mission is a go."

The two then raced over to the ship, amazed at its large size. They were like mere ants aboard the ship. They scanned lights all around the dark and metal walls of the ship, seeing that there were dozens of dead Autobots scattered around the ship.

"My ... god," said Neil. "These ... things are ... gigantic."

A NASA mission officer nearly fainted upon hearing this as the mission director remained firm.

"We copy," said the mission director. "Do you see any signs of life?"

"Negative, Huston." Replied Neil, "everything is dead in here."

"Its way too big to check the entire ship." Added Buzz.

"We're not alone after all, are we?" Gulped Neil.

"No, we're not." Shuddered the mission director before a nearby NASA officer silently showed him how much time Neil and Buzz had left on their oxygen. "You've got seven minutes on your oxygen." He told them, "finish the secondary mission, you copy?"

"Sir, yes, sir." Shuddered Neil before he and Buzz hurriedly left the spacecraft.

Their secondary mission continued as normal. They even received a phone call from the current president, Richard Nixon, congratulating them on the mission. However, the two astronauts couldn't shake the feelings surrounding what they had seen on the Ark. It stayed with them for years as NASA tried to move away from the fact an alien spacecraft was on their moon.

However, one figure was missed by Neil and Buzz. A figure who remained in a deep dreamless sleep for many centuries. Sentinel Prime. Locked away in the hull of the spaceship. He remained cold and alone as the war he ran from continued into the present day.
