His best-friend has a girlfriend wrapped around his arm and still manages to always land his eyes on Sasuke regardless. It physically makes Sasuke’s skin crawl that maybe if things were different and he actually was a girl– they'd be together.
Sasuke doesn't care. Sasuke knows he is gay. Naruto, though, always craved for a family; children and a wife. Something that Sasuke couldn't grant him.
Sometimes when he watches Naruto’s eyes on him with that soft gaze it's easy to forget. It’s easy to forget that Naruto truly only sees him as a best friend. Even with all the chasing and the obsessive behaviour it’s strictly friendship.
Or, Sasuke's sex changing wasn't the biggest deal, the issue was the longer this magical Jutsu lasted-- the longer he’d have to stay in the village. And staying in the village is not something he’d be interested in, not in the slightest.
