Summary
Egg is just trying to survive his minimum-wage café job without anything exploding. Preferably.
That plan falls apart when a regular customer turns out to be Gambit—one of the most wanted villains in the city.
What starts as awkward coffee orders and weird small talk turns into something a lot more complicated than Egg ever signed up for. Between hero investigations, villain business, and Egg’s personal talent for accidental disaster, staying “uninvolved” stops being an option pretty quickly.
Especially when Gambit keeps coming back.
