both Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander must have found out about Scott Hunter being gay before the events of this. This is the only point not actually proven by evidence, but becomes very clear once you stack everything together!

Ilya Rozanov chirps Scott Hunter on the ice. Hunter said: "Go fuck yourself, Rozanov!" to which Rozanov replied: "It's more fun if you're there.". This is clearly a jab at Scott being gay, and Rozanov is subtly threatening Scott, by saying something with the subtext: you better be quiet, before I tell the whole world about your secret.

Shane Hollander says something to Scott to which he replies "You're starting to sound like him.". Scott is obviously referencing Rozanov here, it is to be assumed that Hollander said something homophobic to warrent the answer from Scott.

To further prove the previous point. Shane Hollander then continues to instigate a fight on the ice, for the first, and only, time in his entire career. Even after being held back he yells insults at Scott which include phrases like: "You fucking pussy!".

(Now to the added stuff that twitter hasn't picked up on yet)

At the 2017 All Star games, Ilya Rozanov kisses Shane Hollander on the cheek, Shane Hollander looks very happy about it. Those two both found out they knew about Scott's secret and apparently became friends over it. That kiss was definitely a taunt at Scott, like, look, here are two men kissing each other

at a Boston vs. Montreal game Shane Hollander gets hit by Cliff Marleau and Ilya Rozanov looks visibly shaken by it. Please remember that Hollander and Rozanov used to hate each other, Rozanov is also an asshole and would not have reacted this way if they hadn't somehow become friends along the way!

At the MLH awards post Scott Hunter's coming out, Ilya Rozanov goes up to talk to Scott. Clearly to make a homophobic comment.

So with all this evidence, and I can't believe I'm saying this… but the most logical conclusion is that Rozanov and Hollander found out about Scott Hunter being gay, then, because they're homophobic, decided to make it their own personal joke, and somehow became friends along the way???
