Summary
Several months after the victory over Vecna, as everyone’s lives begin to settle, Mike is troubled by the Byers’ move away from Hawkins. He fears that he will lose a part of himself when Will leaves, and so he wants to spend every free moment with him. Circumstances only encourage this: their house has been put up for sale, a buyer has been found, and all the furniture has been sold, forcing Joyce and Will to stay with the Wheelers for a while. It is then that Mike begins to feel something unfamiliar toward his friend.
