   Summary

   Dave was becoming hopeless. Him and Jade had only begun dating a few months earlier, and already it felt like only a miracle could save their relationship. Between his overall lack of desire (and downright fear) and Jades staggering need to to take their relationship to the next level, it felt like they were on completely different planets. His friend John makes all the wrong decisions, like his mysterious criminal girlfriend or his mounting alcohol problem, and yet everything seems easier for him. Dave isn't sure he can make it another day, let alone make it through college.
