Isagi can’t help but stare at the blond-haired, tattooed employee working the register at Bastard Munchin’ Pizza. Black inked rose vines cascade down the man’s extended arm as he slams the phone back into its holder, and those eyes shine with Isagi’s favorite hue of blue, so when his friends decide what they want to get, of course Isagi offers to go up and order for the group.
He makes a fatal mistake when he asks for a soda cup.
The employee punches the request into the system. “Would you like Coke or Pepsi?”
“Pepsi,” Isagi says.
The guy looks at him like Isagi has just murdered his whole bloodline and then set the pizzeria on fire. Like by ordering Pepsi and not Coca Cola, Isagi has just insulted every deity of every religion. Like there is no blasphemy worse than ordering a Pepsi to quench his thirst in this establishment.
