“Is that not virtuous?” Hannibal looks down at the body, assesses what’s left of it, and turns to Will, closing the distance between them. “Look at what your hands create.”
Hannibal takes Will’s hands into his own, flipping his palms up. Thumbs trail along the middle of Will’s palm, reaching the pulse on his wrist. His blood thrums like a drum. “Look at what your hands destroy,” Will whispers back, his monster’s touch a numbing burn.
